Claims (14)
- (A) 산호, 질소, 수증기, 수소, 일산화 탄소, 이산화 탄소 및 탄화수소 불순물 중 하나 또는 그 이상으로 이루어진 가스상 아르곤 스트리임을 제공하는 단계; (B) 분자체(sieve) 흡착물로 이루어진 베드를 통해 주변 온도에서 가스상 아르곤 스트리임을 통과시키고 그 후 즉시 수증기 및/또는 이산화 탄소를 흡착하는 단계; (C)촉매 물질로 이루어진 베드를 통해 주변 온도에서 가스상 아르곤 스트리임을 통과시키고 그 후 즉시 산소, 수소 및/또는 일산화탄소를 화학 흡착하는 단계;(D) 흡착물로 이루어진 베드를 통해 저온에서 가스상 아르곤 스트리임을 통과시키고 그 후 즉시 질소 및/또는 탄화수소를 흡착하는 단계;(E) 정제된 아르곤 스트리임을 회수하는 단계로 이루어진 아르곤을 정제하기 위한 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 정제된 아르곤이 액화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 액화된 아르곤이 압력이 증가되어 실질적으로 증발되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 정제된 아르곤이 증발하는 액체질소와 간접 열교환함에 의해 액화되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 증발된 질소는 가스상 아르곤과 간접 열 교환함에 의해 가열되며 단계 (D)의 저온 흡착전에 저온으로 가스상 아르곤을 냉각시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 증발된 질소가 촉매물질의 베드를 재생하는데 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서, 증발된 질소가 분자체 베드를 재생하는데 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- (A) 분자체로 이루어진 베드 및 분자체 베드를 통해 불순물 함유가스상 아르곤을 제공하기 위한 수단; (B) 촉매물질로 이루어진 베드 및 촉매물질 베드를 통해 불순물 함유 가스상 아르곤을 제공하기 위한 수단; (C) 흡착물로 이루어진 베드 및 흡착물 베드를 통해 불순물 함유 가스상 아르곤을 제공하기 위한 수단; (D) 흡착물 베드를 통해 그것을 통과시키기 전에 가스상 아르곤의 온도를 저온으로 감소시키키 위한 수단; (E) 흡착물 베드로 부터 정제된 아르곤을 회수하기 위한 수단으로이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제8항에 있어서, 추가로 응축기, 액체질소를 응축기에 제공하기 위한 수단 및 정제된 아르곤을 응축기에 제공하기 위한 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 추가로 액체 저장 탱크와 응축기로 부터 액체를 액체저장 탱크에 통과시키기 위한 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제10항에 있어서, 응축기로 부터 통과되는 액체의 압력을 상승시키는 수단 및 가압된 액체를 증발시키는 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서, 추가로 열교환기와 응축기로 부터 가스상 질소를 열교환기에 통과시키는 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제12항에 있어서, 추가로 열교환기로 부터의 가스상 질소를 촉매 물질로 이루어진 베드에 제공하는 수단으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
