Claims (16)

  1. 크기가 2μ이하이고 단면이 거의 균일하며 직경이 2㎜이하이고 평균 종횡비가 1.0이상이며 경도가 160Gpa이상인 소결 α-알루미나 결정을 포함하는 소결 졸 겔 알루미나계 연마 필라멘트.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 입자의 길이가 1㎝미만인 소결 졸 겔 알루미나계 연마 필라멘트.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 입자의 종횡비가 1.5내지 25이고 직경이 0.0001내지 2㎜이며 α-알루미나 결정의 크기가 1μ이하인 소결 졸 겔 알루미나계 연마 필라멘트.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 입자의 80%이상이 크기가 0.4μ이하인 돌출 결정을 포함하는 소결 졸 겔 알루미나계 연마 필라민트.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 밀도가 이론치의 95%이상이고 지르코니아, 티타니아, 마그네시아, 하프니아, 세리아, 스피넬, 뮬라이트, 이산화망간, 이들 산화물의 전구체 및 이들의 혼합물로 이루어진 그룹으로 선택된 산화물을 1내지 50중량% 포함하는 소결 졸 겔알루미나계 연마 필라멘트.
  6. 제2항에 있어서 α-알루미나 결정이 크기가 1μ만인 α-알루미나 종결정인 소결 졸 겔 알루미나계 연마 필라멘트.
  7. 제2항에 있어서, 필라멘트힝 알루미나계 연마제가 길이가 긴 방향으로 구부러진 소결 졸 겔 알루미나계 연마 필라멘트.
  8. 제2항에 있어서, 필라멘트형 알루미나계 연마제가 길이가 긴 방향으로 비틀어진 소결 졸 겔 알루미나계 연마 필라멘트.
  9. 제2항에 있어서, 유리 성분이 거의 없고 파단 강도가 8,000㎏이상인 소결 졸 겔 알루미나계 연마 필라멘트.
  10. 제1항에 따르는 필라멘트로 보강된 금속 또는 세라믹 복합품.
  11. 서브마이크론 등급의 수화 알루미나 입자의 겔화 분산액을 제공하고, 겔화 분산액율 필라멘트로 성형하고, 필라멘트를 건조시키고, 건조된 필라멘트를 선택된 시간동안 1090내 지 1500℃로 연소시킴으로써 필라멘트 속의 알루미나를 대부분이 크기가 약 2μ이하인 α-알루미나 결정으로 구성된 세라믹체로 전환시키는 단계를 포함하여 크기가 약 2μ이하인 α-알루미나 결정을 함유하는 알루미나계 필라멘트상 소결체를 제조하는 방법.
  12. 제11항에 있어서, 겔화 분산액이 소결 후 수화 알루미나 입자를 α-알루미나로 신속하게 전환시키기 위해서 브마이크로 등급의 종자 입자를 유효량 포함하며, α-알루미나 결정의 결정 크기가 약 1μ이하인 방법.
  13. 제11항에 있어서, α-알루미나 결정의 결정 크기가 약 0.4μ이하인 방법.
  14. 제11항에 있어서, 종자 입자가 α-알루미나, α-산화제철, α-알루미나, 산화크롬: α-알루미나, α-알루미나, 산화크롬 및 α-산화제철의 전구체: 및 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택되고, 약0.5내지 약 10중량%의 양으로 존재하는 방법.
  15. 제11항에 있어서, 겔화 분산액의 성형이 압출에 의해 수행되는 방법.
  16. 제11항에 있어서, 겔화 분산액의 성형이 방사에 의해 수행되는 방법.
