Claims (10)

  1. 수동입력에 응답하여 차량의 조향가능한 바퀴를 회전시키기 위한 조향기어에 있어서, 랙으로된 제1 부분과 제2 부분을 지니며, 양측방향으로 이동가능한 전동부재와 상기 전동부재를 구동시키도록 랙과 맞물리는 회전가능한 피니언기어와 수동입력에 응답하여 상기 전동부재의 제2 부분에 힘을 가하는 전기모터와 차량의 조향대에 가해지는 예정된 양의 토오크에 응답하여 상기 전기 모터를 작동시키는 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 조향기어.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 전기모터가 상기 전동부재의 제2 부분과 동축적으로 배치되어 그를 에워싸는 회전가능한 아마튜어와, 상기 아마튜어와 전동부재의 제2 부분사이에 위치되어 아마튜어의 회전운동을 전동부재의 선형운동으로 변환시키는 구동연결 수단을구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 조향기어.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 전동부재의 제2 부분이 나사부로 구성되며, 상기 구동연결수단은 상기 나사부를 에워싸고 상기 아마튜어에 구동적으로 연결되는 볼너트로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향기어.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 아마튜어용 하우징과 상기하우징과 볼너트 사이에 설치되어 볼너트를 상기 하우징에 대해 회전할 수 있게 그러나 축방향으로 이동하지 못하게 지지하는 베어링 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 조향기어.
  5. 제4항에 있어서, 상기 아마튜어와 볼너트 사이에 설치되어 아마튜어의 작동시에 결합하게되는 클러치를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 조향기어.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 모터가 아마튜어가 위치하게 되는 자장을 발생시키는 영구자석을 지니고 있으며, 상기 아마튜어는 상기 자장의 중심으로부터 오프셋되어 있고 전류가 흐르게 될때 축방향으로 이동하여 상기 클러치를 결합시키게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조향기어.
  7. 차량의 조향핸들의 회전에 응답하여 조향가능한 바퀴를 회전시키기 위한 조향기어에 있어서, 상기 조향기어가양측방향으로 조향을이루게하도록 양측방향으로 이동가능한 전동부재와 차량의 조향 핸들의 수동회전에 응답하여 상기전동부재를 이동시키기 위한 수동 조향수단을 구비하며, 상기 수동 조향수단은 상기 전동부재에 형성된 랙톱니와 맞물리는 피니언과 조향핸들의 회전에 응답하여 상기 피니언을 회전시키도록 하나는 조향바퀴에 다른 하나는 피니언에 각기 연결되어 가해지는 예정된 양의 토오크에 응답하여 상대회전하는 두개의 커플링부로 된 커플링 부재를 구비하고, 상기 조향기어가 상기 커플링 부재의 커플링부의 상대회전에 응답하여 전기신호를 발생시키는 수단과 상기 전기신호에 의해 작동하여 피니언과 무관하게 상기 전동부재에 힘을 가해 전동부재를 이동시키도록 작용하는 전기모터를 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 조향기어.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 전동부재가 전기모터에 의해 에워싸여 있고 그에 대해 선형으로 이동 가능하게 되어 있으며, 상기 모터는 회전 가능항 아마튜어와 상기 아마튜어와 전동부재 사이에 설치되어 아마튜어의 회전운동을 전동부재의선형운동으로 변환시키는 구동연결수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 조향기어.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 구동연결수단이 볼너트와 그에 결합되는 볼로 구성되며, 상기 전동부재는 상기 볼너트의 회전에 응답하여 형운동할 수 있도록 상기 볼너트 및 볼과 협력하는 나사부와 상기 아마튜어의 회전시에 볼너트의 회전을 발생시키게 하는 수단과 상기아마튜어용의 하우징과 상기하우징과 볼너트 사이에 설치되어 볼너트를 상기 하우징에 대해 회전할 수 있게 그러나 축방향으로 이동하지 못하게 지지하는 베어링 수단을 구비한 것을 특징으로 하는 조향기어 .
