Description
Claims (10)
- 컬러 화상 형성 장치에 있어서,각각이 화상을 형성하는 복수의 화상 형성부;상기 복수의 화상 형성부에 의해 형성된 복수의 색의 화상들을 순서대로 전사하는 전사부;화소 단위로 오등록 보정을 수행하기 위해, 상기 화상의 오등록량에 기초하여 상기 화상의 좌표값을 변환하는 제1 변환부;1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 수행하기 위해, 상기 화상의 오등록량에 기초하여 상기 화상의 계조를 변환하는 제2 변환부; 및대상 화소에 대해 상기 제2 변환부에 의한 1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 수행할지의 여부를 상기 대상 화소 주위의 화소들에 기초하여 판정하는 판정부를 포함하는 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 제2 변환부는 복수의 계조 변환 테이블 및 계조 변환시에 사용될 계조 변환 테이블을 선택하는 선택기를 포함하고;상기 복수의 계조 변환 테이블 중 적어도 하나는 1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 무효화시키는 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 판정부는 상기 대상 화소와 부주사 방향으로 인접한 화소 간의 계조 레벨의 차분을 계산하고, 상기 계조 레벨의 차분에 기초하여 상기 화상을 2치화하고, 상기 대상 화소를 포함하는 소정 영역 내의 2치화된 화상에서 각 계조 레벨의 화소수를 측정하고, 상기 화소수가 소정의 임계값보다 크거나 같을 경우, 1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 수행하지 않는 것으로 결정하고, 그 외의 화상들에 대해서는 1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 수행하는 것으로 결정하도록 되어 있는 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 소정 영역은 주주사 방향의 1화소와 부주사 방향의 복수의 화소에 의해 정의된 영역인 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 판정부는 상기 대상 화소와 주주사 방향으로 인접한 화소 간의 계조 레벨의 차분을 계산하고, 상기 계조 레벨의 차분에 기초하여 상기 화상을 2치화하고, 상기 대상 화소를 포함하는 소정 영역 내의 2치화된 화상에서 각 계조 레벨의 화소수를 측정하고, 상기 화소수가 소정의 임계값보다 크거나 같을 경우, 1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 수행하지 않는 것으로 결정하고, 그 외의 화상들에 대해 1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 수행하는 것으로 결정하도록 되어 있는 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 소정 영역은 주주사 방향으로의 복수의 화소와 부주사 방향으로의 하나의 화소에 의해 정의된 영역인 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 판정부는 1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 수행할지의 여부를 상기 대상 화소의 색의 차수(color order)에 기초하여 판정하는 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
- 제7항에 있어서,상기 판정부는, 상기 대상 화소가 고차수의 색을 갖는 경우에, 1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 수행하는 것으로 판정하는 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 판정부는 상기 1화소 미만의 단위의 오등록 보정을 수행할지의 여부의 판정 조건을 각 색마다 설정하는 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 판정부의 상기 판정 조건은 화상을 2치화하기 위한 임계값, 1화소 미만의 단 위의 오등록 보정을 수행할지의 여부를 판정하기 위한 화소수에 대한 임계값, 및 대상 화소를 포함하고 있는 소정 영역의 사이즈를 포함하는 컬러 화상 형성 장치.
