Claims (10)
- 스위칭 소자를 각각 포함하는 복수의 화소를 포함하는 표시 장치를 구동하는 장치로서,일렬로 배열된 복수의 시프트 레지스터를 포함하는 게이트 구동부를 포함하며,상기 각 시프트 레지스터는 축전기의 충전 및 방전에 의해서 결정되는 출력을 내보내며,상기 축전기의 충전이 후단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호에 의하여 차단되거나, 상기 축전기의 방전이 전단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호에 의하여 차단되는표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 각 시프트 레지스터는상기 전단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호에 의하여 상기 축전기에 인가되는 제1 전압을 스위칭하는 제1 스위칭 소자,상기 후단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호에 의하여 상기 축전기에 인가되는 제2 전압을 스위칭하는 제2 스위칭 소자, 그리고상기 제1 전압 또는 상기 제2 전압 중 어느 하나를 차단하는 전압 차단부를 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 전압 차단부는 상기 후단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호에 따라 상기 제1 스위칭 소자의 입력 단자의 전압을 상기 제2 전압으로 풀다운하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제3항에서,상기 전압 차단부는 상기 제1 전압과 상기 제1 스위칭 소자의 사이에 연결되어 있는 저항성 소자, 그리고 상기 저항성 소자와 상기 제2 전압 사이에 연결되어 있으며 상기 후단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호가 입력되는 제어 단자를 가지는 제3 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 전압 차단부는 상기 후단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호에 따라 상기 제1 스위칭 소자의 제어 단자의 입력을 상기 제2 전압으로 풀다운하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제5항에서,상기 전압 차단부는 상기 전단 시프트 레지스터의 출력과 상기 제1 스위칭소자 사이에 연결되어 있는 저항성 소자, 그리고 상기 저항성 소자와 상기 제2 전압 사이에 연결되어 있으며 상기 후단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호가 입력되는 제어 단자를 가지는 제3 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 전압 차단부는 상기 전단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호에 따라 상기 제2 스위칭 소자의 제어 단자의 입력을 상기 제2 전압으로 풀다운하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제7항에서,상기 전압 차단부는 상기 후단 시프트 레지스터의 출력과 상기 제2 스위칭 소자 사이에 연결되어 있는 저항성 소자, 그리고 상기 저항성 소자와 상기 제2 전압 사이에 연결되어 있으며 상기 전단 시프트 레지스터의 출력 또는 이와 동기되는 신호가 입력되는 제어 단자를 가지는 제3 스위칭 소자를 포함하는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제2항에서,상기 제1 전압은 스위칭 소자의 문턱 전압보다 크며 상기 제2 전압은 스위칭 소자의 문턱 전압보다 작은 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
- 제1항에서,상기 시프트 레지스터는 상기 표시 장치와 동일한 기판 상에 형성되는 표시 장치의 구동 장치.
