- 에틸렌과 탄소수 4∼12의 α-올레핀을 공중합하여 이루어지며, 하기(A)∼(E)의 요건을 만족하는 것을 특징으로 하는 에틸렌·α-올레핀 공중합체.(A) 밀도가 0.92∼0.96g/cm3(B) 멜트플로레이트(MFR)가 0.01∼200g/10분(C) 분자량 분포(Mw/Mn)가 1.5∼5.0(D) 연속승온용출분별법(TREF)에 의한 용출온도-용출량곡선의 피크가 하나이고, 또한 이 용출온도-용출량곡선의 적분용출곡선으로부터 구한 전체의 25%가 용출하는 온도, T25와 전체의 75%가 용출하는 온도, T75와의 차인 T75-T25및 밀도 d가 하기 식a의 관계, 및 하기 식b의 관계를 만족할 것(식a)T75-T25≥-300×d+285 (d<0.950g/cm3일 때)T75-T25≥0 (d≥0.950g/cm3일 때)(식b)T75-T25≤-670×d+644(E) 융점피크를 1 내지 2개 가지며, 또한 그 중 가장 높은 융점 Tml과 밀도 d가, 하기 식c의 관계를 만족할 것.(식c)Tml≥150×d-17

- 제 1 항에 있어서, 적어도 공액2중결합을 갖는 유기환상화합물 및 주기율표 제Ⅳ족의 천이금속 화합물을 포함하는 촉매의 존재하에서, 에틸렌과 탄소수 4∼12인 α-올레핀을 공중합하여 얻어지는 것임을 특징으로 하는 에틸렌·α-올레핀공중합체.
