Abstract
Description
Claims (22)
- 폴리이미드와 홀 전달 물질, 전자 전달 물질 및 이미터 물질로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 하나 이상의 유기 물질을 포함하며 전자 장치와 전기광학 장치에서 사용하기 위한 층으로서, 홀 전달 물질, 전자 전달 물질 또는 이미터 물질의 유리 전이 온도가 80℃를 초과함을 특징으로 하는 층.
- 제1항에 있어서, 홀 전달 물질, 전자 전달 물질 또는 이미터 물질 또는 이의 조합물과 폴리이미드 전구체 물질을 혼합하고, 이러한 혼합물로부터 박막을 형성시킨 다음, 혼합물을 도핑된 폴리이미드로 전환시킴으로써 수득할 수 있는 층.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 홀 전달 물질, 전자 전달 물질 또는 이미터 물질의 분자량이 750을 초과하는 층.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 홀 전달 물질, 전자 전달 물질 또는 이미터 물질의 유리 전이 온도가 100℃를 초과하고 분자량이 900을 초과하는 층.
- 제2항 내지 제4항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 혼합물 중의 홀 전달 물질, 전자 전달 물질 또는 이미터 물질의 함량 또는 이의 복합물의 함량이, 홀 전달 물질, 전자 전달 물질 또는 이미터 물질과 폴리이미드 전구체 물질의 전체 중량을 기준으로 하여, 1 내지 60중량%의 범위 내에서 선택되는 층.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 폴리이미드와 홀 전달 물질을 포함하는 층.
- 제6항에 있어서, 홀 전달 물질이 화학식 I의 화합물, 화학식 II의 화합물 및 화학식 III의 화합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 화합물 또는 이의 혼합물인 층.화학식 I화학식 II화학식 III위의 화학식 I 내지 III에서,Ar1은 화합물(1),(2),(3),(4) 및(5)로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되고,Ar2내지 Ar9는 독립적으로 화합물(a),(b),(c),(d) 및(e)로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택되고,Ar1" 내지 Ar4"는 독립적으로 위의 (1) 내지 (5)의 화합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 화합물이고,Ar은 화학식의 화합물이고,R1' 내지 R12'는 독립적으로 수소원자, n이 1 내지 20의 정수인 -CnH2n+1잔기, -OCnH2n+1잔기 또는 화학식의 그룹이고,Ar'는 Ar과 동일한 그룹이거나 위의 (a) 내지 (e)의 화합물로 이루어진 그룹으로부터 선택된 화합물이다.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 홀 전달 물질이 화학식 IV의 화합물 또는 화학식 V의 화합물인 층.화학식 IV화학식 V
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 폴리이미드와 전자 전달 물질을 포함하는 층.
- 제9항에 있어서, 전자 전달 물질이 스피로-옥사디아졸 화합물인 층.
- 제1항 내지 제5항 중의 어느 한 항에 있어서, 폴리이미드와 이미터 물질을 포함하는 층.
- 제11항에 있어서, 이미터 물질이 스피로-연결된 올리고페닐렌 화합물인 층.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 층을 하나 이상 포함하는 전자 장치 또는 전기광학 장치.
- 제13항에 있어서, 장치가 전자발광 광 방출 장치이고 이의 층이 홀 전달 물질을 포함하는 전자 또는 전기광학 장치.
- 액정용 정렬 특성을 부여하기 위해 임의로 제조된 제1항 내지 제12항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 층 하나 이상과 액정 물질 또는 액정 물질을 포함하는 복합물을 포함하는 장치.
- 제15항에 있어서, 액정 물질이 중합성 액정 물질을 포함하는 장치.
- 제15항 또는 제16항에 있어서, 중합성 액정 층이 광 방출 물질을 포함하는 장치.
- 제15항 또는 제16항에 있어서, 중합성 액정 물질이 이미터 물질인 장치.
- 투명한 도체 유리 기판, 당해 기판 위에 형성되고 배향층으로서 제조된 제1항 내지 제12항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 층, 당해 배향층 위에 코팅 및 정렬된 중합성 액정 이미터 물질 층 및 당해 중합성 액정 이미터 물질 층 위에 부착된 금속성 양극을 포함하는, 전기장 적용시 편광을 방출할 수 있는 전자발광 장치.
- 제1항 내지 제12항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 층을 기판 위에 제공하는 단계,액정용 정렬 특성을 부여하기 위한 층을 제조하는 단계,광 방출 물질을 포함하거나 그 자체가 이미터 물질인 중합성 액정 물질을 위의 층에 도포하는 단계 및중합성 액정 물질을 위의 층에 정렬시키는 단계를 포함하는, 광 방출 전자발광 장치의 제조방법.
- 제20항에 있어서, 액정용 정렬 특성을 부여하기 위한 층의 제조가 문지르기(rubbing), 자외선 조사 또는 대기 유동 처리에 의해 수행되는 방법.
- 제20항 또는 제21항에 있어서, 중합성 액정 물질이 스핀 코팅, 닥터 블레이딩 또는 잉크 젯 프린팅에 의해 제1항 내지 제12항 중의 어느 한 항에 따르는 층 위에 도포되는 방법.
