Claims (83)
- 유기 매트릭스 내에 묻혀 있는(embedded) 발광금속의 이온 또는 이온착체를 스크린-인쇄 또는 잉크젯 인쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 전계발광 소자 형성 방법으로서,상기 유기 매트릭스는, 여기상태로 올라갈 수 있고, 이어서 그의 에너지를 상기 금속의 이온 또는 이온 착체로 전달하여 광을 발하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 유기 매트릭스는 전하 및 여기상태 에너지를 운반(carry)하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 유기 매트릭스는 폴리머계(polymeric) 또는 올리고머계(oligomeric)이거나, 소분자(small molecule)인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 유기 매트릭스는 금속이온을 위한 배위 자리(co-ordination site)가 제공되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제3항에 있어서,상기 유기 매트릭스는 폴리머계인 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 발광금속 이온 또는 발광금속 이온착체가 폴리머에 결합되고, 상기 폴리머의 측기(side group), 주쇄기, 또는 말단기에 결합되는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 발광금속 이온 또는 발광금속 이온 착체가 크롬, 망간, 철, 코발트, 몰리브덴, 루테늄, 로듐, 팔라듐, 은, 텅스텐, 레늄, 오스뮴, 이리듐, 백금, 금 및 우라늄으로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 금속 이온을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서,상기 전계발광 소자는, 정공 수송층(hole transport layer; HTL), 전자 수송층(electron transport layer; ETL), 전도성 폴리머층(conducting polymer layer; CPL), 금속층, 및 대기로부터 소자를 밀봉하기 위한 층으로부터 선택되는 하나 이상의 층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.
- 제5항에 있어서,상기 폴리머는 하기로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택되는 반복단위를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법:(상기 식에서, R은 H, D, F, Cl, Br, I, 알콕시, 아릴옥시, 알킬, 아릴, 알킬케톤, 아릴케톤, 알킬에스테르, 아릴에스테르, 아미드, 카르복시산, 플루오로알킬, 플루오로아릴, 및 폴리알칼렌옥시로부터 독립적으로 선택되고, R기 중 임의의 2개는 브리지될 수 있고, m은 0-2, n은 0-3, o는 0-4, p는 0-5, q는 0-6이고, A 및 B는 -O-, -S-, -NR1-, 및 -CR1R2-, CR1R2CR3R4-, -N=CR1-, -CR1=CR2-, -N=N-, 및 -(CO)-로 이루어지는 군으로부터 독립적으로 선택되고, 여기서 R1 내지 R4는 H, D, F, Cl, Br, I, 알킬, 아릴, 알킬렌옥시, 폴리알킬렌옥시, 알콕시, 아릴옥시, 플루오로알킬, 및 플루오로아릴이고, E는 O, NH 및 S로 이루어지는 군으로부터 선택됨).
