Claims (21)
- 다수의 관통구멍이 격벽을 사이에 두고 길이방향으로 나란히 설치되고, 이들 관통구멍의 어느 일방의 단부를 밀봉하여 이루어지는, 주상 다공질 세라믹 부재의 하나 또는 복수개의 조합으로 이루어지는 허니컴 구조체로서,상기 허니컴 구조체는, 일방의 단면의 개구 면적과 타방의 단면의 개구 면적이 다르게 되어 있고, 상기 세라믹 부재가 세라믹스와 규소로 이루어지는 규소-세라믹 복합재로 형성되고,상기 규소-세라믹 복합재는 세라믹 부재가 세라믹 입자 사이에 규소를 개재시켜 접합하여 이루어지고,상기 규소-세라믹 복합재는 X 선 회절에 있어서의 Si 의 피크의 반치폭이 0.6°이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 1 항에 있어서,상기 허니컴 구조체는, 길이방향에 수직인 단면에 있어서, 일방의 단면의 개구 면적의 총합이 상대적으로 커지도록 밀봉되어 이루어지는 대용적 관통구멍군과, 타방의 단면에서의 개구 면적의 총합이 상대적으로 작아지도록 밀봉되어 이루어지는 소용적 관통구멍군으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 셀을 형성하기 위한 다수의 관통구멍을 격벽을 사이에 두고 길이방향으로 나란히 설치하고, 이들 관통구멍의 어느 일방의 단부가 밀봉되어 이루어지는, 주상 다공질 세라믹 부재의 하나 또는 복수개의 조합으로 이루어지는 허니컴 구조체로서,상기 다공질 세라믹 부재는, 길이방향에 수직인 단면에 있어서의 셀 면적의 총합이 상대적으로 큰 대용적 관통구멍군과, 길이방향에 수직인 상기 단면에 있어서의 셀 면적의 총합이 상대적으로 작은 소용적 관통구멍군과의 조합으로 이루어지고,또한 이 세라믹 부재가 세라믹스와 규소로 이루어지는 규소-세라믹 복합재로 형성되고,상기 규소-세라믹 복합재는 세라믹 부재가 세라믹 입자 사이에 규소를 개재시켜 접합하여 이루어지고,상기 규소-세라믹 복합재는 X 선 회절에 있어서의 Si 의 피크의 반치폭이 0.6°이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 다공질 세라믹 부재는, 대용적 관통구멍의 길이방향에 수직인 단면의 무게중심간 거리와, 상기 소용적 관통구멍의 길이방향에 수직인 단면의 무게중심간 거리가 동일한 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 대용적 관통구멍은, 구멍직경의 크기가 소용적 관통구멍의 구멍직경보다도 큰 관통구멍으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 대용적 관통구멍은, 입측이 개구된 가스 유입측 셀을 구성하고, 상기 소용적 관통구멍은 출측이 개구된 가스 유출측 셀을 구성하고 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 다공질 세라믹 부재는, 기공률이 30∼80% 인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 다공질 세라믹 부재는, 격벽의 표면 조도 (Ra) 가, 1.0∼30.0㎛ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 다공질 세라믹 부재는, 격벽의 두께가, 0.15∼0.45㎜ 인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 삭제
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 관통구멍은, 일방의 단부가 밀봉재에 의해서 밀봉된 측에서, 대용적 관통구멍군을 구성할 때, 그 타단부가 밀봉재에 의해서 밀봉된 측의 관통구멍은 소용적 관통구멍군을 구성하는 2 종류의 관통구멍으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 관통구멍은, 다각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 관통구멍의 단면형상은, 사각형과 팔각형인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 관통구멍은, 단면 모서리부가, 라운드 또는 모따기형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 소용적 관통구멍의 길이방향에 수직인 단면과, 대용적 관통구멍의 길이방향에 수직인 단면의 면적비 (대용적 관통구멍 단면적/소용적 관통구멍 단면적) 는, 1.01∼9.00 인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항 또는 제 4 항에 있어서,상기 소용적 관통구멍의 길이방향에 수직인 단면과, 대용적 관통구멍의 길이 방향에 수직인 단면의 면적비 (대용적 관통구멍 단면적/소용적 관통구멍 단면적) 는, 1.01∼6.00 인 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 격벽은, 그 표면의 적어도 일부에 촉매 코팅층을 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 다공질 세라믹 부재가, 시일재층에 의해 복수개 결속되어 하나의 허니컴 구조체를 형성하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,상기 다공질 세라믹 부재는, 탄화규소를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
- 제 3 항에 있어서,차량의 입자상 물질을 함유하는 배기가스 정화용 필터로서 사용되는 것을 특징으로 하는 허니컴 구조체.
