Abstract
Description
상기 화학식 1로 나타내는 화합물은 흑연과 거의 같은 방전 전위 및 수명특성을 가지므로, 음극 활물질로서 사용할 경우, 1000mAh/cc이상의 단위 체적당 용량을 얻을 수 있다.

Claims (11)
- 하기의 화학식 1로 나타내는 화합물 분말을 포함하며,상기 화합물 분말은 입자표면에 복수의 평탄부를 가지는 다면성 입자를 포함하고, 상기 다면성 입자는 표면에 복수의 평탄부를 가지며, 평면시 했을 때에 복수의 평탄부가 관찰되며, 각 평탄부의 경계선이 되는 능선부가 3개 이상 관찰되고, 상기 능선부 중 적어도 하나는 2개의 상기 평탄부가 90°이상의 각도를 이루면서 인접하여 형성된 것이고, 상기 각 능선부의 길이 L과 다면성 입자의 최대 직경 Rmax와의 관계가 L/Rmax> 0.1을 만족시키는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질.[화학식 1]LixMyVzO2 +d(단, 상기 화학식 1에서, x, y, z 및 d는 각각, 1≤x≤2.5, 0≤y≤0.5, 0.5≤z≤1.5, 0≤d≤0.5이며, M은, Al, Cr, Mo, Ti, W, Zr, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 원소이다.)
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화합물 분말의 입자표면에 복수의 평탄부를 가지는 다면성 입자가 상기 화합물 분말 전체 입자수에 대하여 20% 내지 100%의 비율로 포함되어 있는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질.
- 제1항에 있어서,상기 화합물 분말이 1μm 내지 100μm의 평균 직경을 가지는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질.
- 바나듐 함유 원료분말, 리튬 함유 원료분말, 원소M(M은 Al, Cr, Mo, Ti, W, Zr, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 원소)을 포함하는 M원소 함유 원료분말을 혼합하여 혼합 분말을 제조하는 단계;상기 혼합 분말을 산화 또는 환원 분위기 하에서 500 내지 900℃로 1 내지 5 시간 동안 열처리하여 리튬-바나듐계 산화물로 이루어진 분말을 얻는 단계;상기 리튬-바나듐계 산화물로 이루어진 분말을 가압 성형하여 조립분말 또는 펠릿을 제조하는 단계;상기 조립분말 또는 상기 펠릿을 환원 분위기 하에서 900 내지 1400℃로 3 내지 10 시간 동안 열처리하는 단계; 및상기 열처리한 조립분말 또는 상기 펠릿을 분쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 바나듐 함유 원료분말은 금속 바나듐, VO, V2O3, V2O4, V2O5, V407, VOSO4 ·nH2O, NH4VO3, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 화합물인 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 리튬 함유 원료분말은 리튬 카보네이트, 수산화 리튬, 질산 리튬, 아세트산 리튬, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 화합물인 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 M원소 함유 원료분말은 상기 M원소를 포함하는 산화물, M원소를 포함하는 수산화물, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 화합물인 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 제4항에 있어서,상기 환원 분위기는 질소 분위기, 아르곤 분위기, N2/H2혼합 가스 분위기, CO/CO2혼합 가스 분위기, 및 헬륨 분위기로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 것인 리튬 이차 전지용 음극 활물질의 제조 방법.
- 리튬을 인터칼레이션 및 디인터칼레이션할 수 있는 양극 활물질을 포함하는 양극;리튬을 인터칼레이션 및 디인터칼레이션할 수 있는 음극 활물질을 포함하는 음극; 및전해액을 포함하며,상기 음극 활물질은 하기의 화학식 1로 나타내는 화합물 분말을 포함하고, 상기 화합물 분말은 표면에 복수의 평탄부를 가지는 다면성 입자를 포함하고, 상기 다면성 입자는 표면에 복수의 평탄부를 가지며, 평면시 했을 때에 복수의 평탄부가 관찰되며, 각 평탄부의 경계선이 되는 능선부가 3개 이상 관찰되고, 상기 능선부 중 적어도 하나는, 2개의 상기 평탄부가 90°이상의 각도를 이루면서 인접하여 형성된 것이고, 상기 각 능선부의 길이 L과 다면성 입자의 최대 직경 Rmax와의 관계가 L/Rmax> 0.1을 만족시키는 것인 리튬 이차 전지.[화학식 1]LixMyVzO2 +d(단, 상기 화학식 1에서, x, y, z 및 d는 각각, 1≤x≤2.5, 0≤y≤0.5, 0.5≤z≤1.5, 0≤d≤0.5이며, M은, Al, Cr, Mo, Ti, W, Zr, 및 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 군에서 선택되는 원소이다.)
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 화합물 분말의 입자표면에 복수의 평탄부를 가지는 다면성 입자가 상기 화합물 분말 전체 입자수에 대하여 20% 내지 100%의 비율로 포함되어 있는 것인 리튬 이차 전지.
- 제9항에 있어서,상기 화합물 분말이 1μm 내지 100μm의 평균 직경을 가지는 것인 리튬 이차 전지.
