Claims (4)
- 回転軸心方向両側に対向配置された一対のスポット溶接用電極チップの先端部をその各々に対応する一対の切刃部によって回転動作により同時に切削する回転カッターと、
該回転カッターの切削作業により発生する切粉の飛散を防止するカバーケースとを備え、
上記回転カッターは、回転軸心方向に対称に設けられ、且つ、各々が上記各電極チップの先端部を切削する際に上記各電極チップの先端部をその中心軸が回転軸心に一致するように受け止める一対の凹状受止部と、回転軸心方向に貫通して上記各凹状受止部に開口する貫通部とを備え、
上記カバーケースは、上記回転カッターにおける上記一方の凹状受止部側を覆うように設けられるとともに、当該一方の凹状受止部に対応する開口部を有し、
上記回転カッターにおける上記他方の凹状受止部側には、中央部分に上記電極チップの外形に対応する電極チップ挿入孔を有するカバープレートが上記他方の凹状受止部を覆うよう固定されていることを特徴とするチップドレッサー。 - 請求項1に記載のチップドレッサーにおいて、
上記カバープレートにおける上記回転カッターの反対側には、上記カバープレートの表面に向けて圧縮エアを吐出するエア吐出手段が接近配置され、
上記カバープレートの上記切刃部に対応する位置には、複数のエア導入孔が上記回転カッターの回転方向に並設されていることを特徴とするチップドレッサー。 - 請求項2に記載のチップドレッサーにおいて、
上記エア導入孔は、上記回転カッターの回転軸心を中心として放射状に延びるスリット形状をなしていることを特徴とするチップドレッサー。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載のチップドレッサーにおいて、
上記カバーケースには、当該カバーケース内部からエアを吸引するエア吸引手段と、上記カバーケース内部に圧縮エアを導入する圧縮エア導入手段とが接続され、該圧縮エア導入手段と上記エア吸引手段とは、上記回転カッターの回転軸心が間に位置するよう離間して設けられていることを特徴とするチップドレッサー。
