Claims (7)
- エミッタ電極と、前記エミッタ電極に流れる電流に応じたセンス電流を出力するエミッタセンス端子とを有し、直流電源から供給される直流電力を交流電力に変換するためのスイッチング動作を行うパワー半導体素子と、
前記センス電流に基づいて、前記パワー半導体素子に流れる過電流を検知する過電流検知回路と、
前記過電流を模擬した模擬信号を前記過電流検知回路に出力する過電流模擬回路と、を備える電力変換装置。 - 請求項1に記載の電力変換装置において、
前記センス電流の大きさに応じた電圧を出力するエミッタセンス回路をさらに備え、
前記過電流検知回路は、前記エミッタセンス回路から出力される電圧が所定の閾値以上であるか否かを判定することにより、前記パワー半導体素子に前記過電流が流れているか否かを判定し、
前記過電流模擬回路は、前記模擬信号として、前記閾値以上の電圧を前記エミッタセンス回路を介して前記過電流検知回路に出力する電力変換装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の電力変換装置において、
前記過電流模擬回路から前記模擬信号を出力するタイミングを制御するためのテストパターン信号を出力するテストパターン出力回路をさらに備える電力変換装置。 - 請求項3に記載の電力変換装置において、
前記パワー半導体素子のスイッチング動作を制御するためのドライブ信号を出力するドライブ回路と、
前記ドライブ回路の動作を制御するための制御信号を出力する制御回路と、をさらに備え、
前記テストパターン出力回路は、前記制御回路から前記制御信号が出力されていないときに、前記過電流模擬回路から前記模擬信号が出力されるように前記テストパターン信号を出力する電力変換装置。 - 請求項3に記載の電力変換装置において、
前記テストパターン出力回路は、前記直流電源から前記直流電力が供給されていないときに、前記過電流模擬回路から前記模擬信号が出力されるように前記テストパターン信号を出力する電力変換装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の電力変換装置において、
前記パワー半導体素子のスイッチング動作を制御するためのドライブ信号を出力するドライブ回路をさらに備え、
前記過電流検知回路は、前記過電流を検知した場合に、前記ドライブ回路からの前記ドライブ信号の出力を停止または遮断して前記パワー半導体素子のスイッチング動作を禁止するスイッチング禁止機能を有し、
前記過電流模擬回路から前記模擬信号が出力されているときには、前記スイッチング禁止機能を無効化する電力変換装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の電力変換装置において、
前記パワー半導体素子のスイッチング動作を制御するためのドライブ信号を出力するドライブ回路と、
前記ドライブ回路の動作を制御するための制御信号を出力する制御回路と、
前記過電流検知回路が前記過電流を検知した場合に、前記制御回路から前記ドライブ回路への前記制御信号の出力を遮断するトルクセキュリティ回路と、をさらに備え、
前記過電流模擬回路から前記模擬信号が出力されているときには、前記トルクセキュリティ回路を無効化する電力変換装置。
