Claims (9)
- 基端に開口部を有する筒状の外筒本体と、環状頭部を有し、且つ前記外筒本体の先端に設けられた筒先部と、針孔を有し、且つ先端が前記筒先部から突出するように前記筒先部に保持された穿刺針と、を備えた外筒の前記筒先部に着脱自在に装着され、前記針孔の先端を封止するための弾性キャップであって、
前記筒先部の少なくとも一部及び前記穿刺針を収容する筒状の収容孔を備え、
前記収容孔は、前記環状頭部の外径よりも小径の第1内径部と、前記第1内径部の先端に設けられたストッパ部と、前記ストッパ部から底部にかけて形成され且つ前記第1内径部よりも小径の第2内径部と、前記第2内径部の先端に設けられた底壁と、を有し、
前記収容孔の最小径は、前記穿刺針の外径の2〜10倍であり、
前記筒先部に装着される際、前記収容孔に前記筒先部の少なくとも一部が挿入されるとともに、前記第1内径部は、前記環状頭部の外周面に密着することで、前記筒先部との間に気密シールを形成し、前記ストッパ部は、前記環状頭部の先端面に当接することで、前記筒先部の最終挿入位置を規定し、前記底壁は、前記穿刺針の先端が刺し込まれることで、前記針孔の先端を封止することを特徴とする弾性キャップ。 - 請求項1に記載の弾性キャップにおいて、
前記筒先部に装着される際、前記第2内径部の内周面は、前記穿刺針の先端に接触しないことを特徴とする弾性キャップ。 - 請求項1に記載の弾性キャップにおいて、
前記底壁の基端面は、先端に向かって凹んだ球面であり、
前記球面の中心は、前記収容孔の軸心上にあり、前記球面の半径は、前記穿刺針の前記筒先部から突出している部分の基端から先端までの長さと略一致することを特徴とする弾性キャップ。 - 請求項1に記載の弾性キャップにおいて、
前記底壁の基端面から前記ストッパ部までの長さは、前記穿刺針の前記筒先部から突出している部分の基端から先端までの長さよりも2〜7mm短いことを特徴とする弾性キャップ。 - 請求項1に記載の弾性キャップにおいて、
前記第2内径部の内周面が、前記収容孔の軸心に沿って延在することを特徴とする弾性キャップ。 - 請求項1に記載の弾性キャップにおいて、
前記収容孔は、基端に前記環状頭部の外径よりも大径の第3内径部を有し、
前記底壁の基端面から前記第3内径部の先端までの長さは、前記穿刺針の先端から前記環状頭部の先端までの長さよりも長く、
前記第3内径部の内径と前記環状頭部の外径との径差は、前記第2内径部の内径と前記穿刺針の外径との径差より小さいことを特徴とする弾性キャップ。 - 請求項6に記載の弾性キャップにおいて、
前記収容孔は、前記第3内径部と前記第1内径部との間に仮ストッパ部を有し、
前記底壁の基端面から前記仮ストッパ部までの長さは、前記穿刺針の前記筒先部から突出している部分の基端から先端までの長さよりも長く、
前記筒先部に装着される際、前記仮ストッパ部は、前記環状頭部の先端面に当接することで、前記収容孔への前記筒先部の挿入を仮止めするとともに、前記収容孔の軸心と前記穿刺針の軸心とを略一致させることを特徴とする弾性キャップ。 - 請求項1に記載の弾性キャップと、前記弾性キャップが前記筒先部に着脱自在に装着され、前記穿刺針の先端が前記底壁に刺し込まれることで前記針孔の先端が封止された前記外筒とを備えていることを特徴とするシリンジ用組立体。
- 請求項8記載のシリンジ用組立体において、
前記底壁に対して前記穿刺針が刺し込まれた長さが2〜7mmであることを特徴とするシリンジ用組立体。
