Abstract
Description
すなわち、本実施形態に係る成形材料は、従来の成形材料と比較して、強度・靭性・弾性率という観点において、それぞれバランスよく優れているとともに、高い成形特性を有するだけでなく、単位密度当たりの強度や弾性率が優れたものとなる。

実施例1〜4および比較例1〜2について、下記表1に示す配合量に従って各成分を配合した原料混合物を、90℃の加熱ロールにより3分間溶融混練した後取り出し、粉砕し、顆粒状に粉砕して成形材料を得た。なお、以下の表1に示される成分の量は全て重量%である。
引張強度:25℃あるいは150℃という条件で、上記試験片をJIS K6911に準じて引張試験を行った。ここで引張強度とは、試験片を破断させるために必要な引張荷重または力のことを示している。本実施例において引張強度は、以下の方法で算出した。まず、試験片が破断した際に、試験片に加えた応力をσ、試験片の最小断面積をSとする。破断強度は、試験片が破断した際に試験片に加えた力である。単位は、MPaとした。
実施例1、4、参考例2、3および比較例1〜2について、下記表1に示す配合量に従って各成分を配合した原料混合物を、90℃の加熱ロールにより3分間溶融混練した後取り出し、粉砕し、顆粒状に粉砕して成形材料を得た。なお、以下の表1に示される成分の量は全て重量%である。

- 前記フェノール樹脂が、ノボラック型フェノール樹脂、レゾール型フェノール樹脂、およびアリールアルキレン型フェノール樹脂からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つである、請求項1に記載の成形材料。
- 前記炭素繊維が、ピッチ系またはPAN系の炭素繊維である請求項1または2に記載の成形材料。
- 前記フェノール樹脂の含有量が、当該成形材料の全重量に対して20重量%以上70重量%以下である請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の成形材料。
- 前記炭素繊維の含有量が、当該成形材料の全重量に対して、20重量%以上70重量%以下である請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の成形材料。
- 前記ポリビニルブチラール、酢酸ビニルおよびアクリロニトリルブタジエンゴムからなる群より選ばれる1種以上のエラストマーの含有量が、当該成形材料の全重量に対して、0.1重量%以上20重量%以下である請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の成形材料。
- 前記炭素繊維の体積平均繊維長が、100μm以上1000μm以下である請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の成形材料。
- 前記炭素繊維の数平均繊維長が、50μm以上500μm以下である請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の成形材料。
- 前記炭素繊維の体積平均繊維長と数平均繊維長の割合、体積平均繊維長/数平均繊維長が、1以上5以下である請求項1に記載の成形材料。
- 金型温度175℃、硬化時間1分間という硬化条件で得られたダンベル形状の当該成形材料の硬化物を、さらに180℃、6時間という条件で硬化させて試験片として作製し、
JIS K6911に準じて引張試験を行った際に得られる、150℃での前記試験片の引張強度S150と25℃での前記試験片の引張強度S25の割合、S150/S25が0.6以上1以下である請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の成形材料。 - 25℃における当該成形材料の前記硬化物の引張弾性率が、25GPa以上70GPa以下である請求項10に記載の成形材料。
- 25℃における当該成形材料の前記硬化物の引張強度が、150MPa以上300MPa以下である請求項10または11に記載の成形材料。
