Abstract
Description
好ましくは、前記オレフィン系エラストマーが、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合エラストマー及びエチレン−プロピレン−ジエン共重合エラストマーから選ばれる少なくとも1種である。
好ましくは、基材フィルムの厚みが、1〜500μmである。
好ましくは、前記基材フィルムが、環状オレフィンモノマー、エラストマー及び重合触媒を含む重合性組成物を塊状重合して得られた樹脂組成物からなる。
また、本発明の有機電解液系蓄電デバイス用の粘着フィルムは、巻回された蓄電要素の巻き止め用又は蓄電要素へ電力の入出力を行なうためのタブ部の絶縁用として、好適に用いられる。
本発明で用いられる架橋環状オレフィン重合体は、環状オレフィンモノマーの重合により得られる重合体(環状オレフィン重合体)であって、三次元架橋構造を有するものである。本発明で用いられる架橋環状オレフィン重合体は、1,2−ジクロロベンゼンに、23℃で24時間浸漬させ、得られた溶液を80メッシュの金網でろ過したときの不溶分で表される架橋度が、好ましくは70重量%以上、より好ましくは80重量%以上、さらに好ましくは85重量%以上である。架橋度が低すぎると、所望の耐熱性や機械的強度が発現できない場合がある。
活性剤の使用量は、(重合触媒中の中心金属原子:活性剤)のモル比で、通常、1:0.05〜1:100、好ましくは1:0.2〜1:20、より好ましくは1:0.5〜1:10の範囲である。
本発明で用いるエラストマーとしては、0℃以上でゴム弾性を有するとともに、ガラス転移点を、0℃以下に少なくとも一つ有するものであればよく、特に限定されない。エラストマーを用いることにより、樹脂組成物中に含有される架橋環状オレフィン重合体の耐熱性能を維持しつつ、得られる粘着フィルムに柔軟性を付与させることができる。
本発明の粘着フィルムを構成する基材フィルムは、上述した各成分を有する樹脂組成物からなるフィルム状の成形体である。
本発明において、基材フィルムは、たとえば、上述した環状オレフィンモノマー、エラストマー、及び重合触媒、ならびに必要に応じて用いられる各種添加剤を含有する重合性組成物を調製し、これを塊状重合させてフィルム状に成形し、塊状重合を行った後、あるいは、塊状重合と同時に、塊状重合により得られた環状オレフィン重合体を架橋させて、架橋環状オレフィン重合体とすることで、製造することができる。
本発明の有機電解液系蓄電デバイス用の粘着フィルムは、上述した樹脂組成物からなる基材フィルム上に、アクリル系粘着剤からなる粘着層を備えてなる。
N−メチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−エチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−メトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−エトキシメチル(メタ)アクリルアミド、N−t−ブチルアクリルアミド、N−オクチルアクリルアミド等のN−置換アミド基含有モノマー;グリシジルメタクリレート等のエポキシ基含有モノマーなどが挙げられる。これらのモノマーは1種又は2種以上を混合して使用できる。
なお、各特性の定義及び評価方法は、以下のとおりである。
基材フィルムの引張強度及び伸びを、JIS K6871に準拠して、温度180℃の条件にて測定した。引張強度は高いほど好ましい。また、伸びは2〜20%の範囲にあることが好ましい。
粘着フィルムを、アルミニウム板に張り付けることにより、アルミ貼付サンプルを作製し、作製したアルミ貼付サンプルを、200℃に加熱したホットプレートに10分間載せて加熱し、加熱後の外観を観察した。
粘着フィルムを、23℃の電解液(EC(エチレンカーボネート):DEC(ジエチレンカーボネート)=1:2(体積比))に、72時間浸漬させた後、乾燥し、厚さ2mmのアルミ板に張り付けることにより、アルミ貼付サンプルを作製した。そして、作製したアルミ貼付サンプルについて、剥離速度50mm/分、引張角度180°の条件で、剥離強度(N/20mm幅)を測定した。剥離強度が高いほど、耐電解液性に優れると判断できる。
粘着フィルムを、ポリオレフィン系材料から構成されるセパレータに貼り付け、セパレータ貼付サンプルを作製した。そして、作製したセパレータ貼付サンプルについて、剥離速度50mm/分、引張角度180°の条件で、剥離強度(N/20mm幅)を測定した。なお、粘着フィルムを、巻回された蓄電要素の巻き止め用とする場合には、蓄電要素を構成するセパレータとの接着強度が高いことが要求されるため、セパレータに対する接着強度が高いほど、巻回された蓄電要素の巻き止め用として適しているといえる。
粘着フィルムを、ニッケル板に貼り付け、ニッケル貼付サンプルを作製した。そして、作製したニッケル貼付サンプルについて、剥離速度50mm/分、引張角度180°の条件で、剥離強度(N/20mm幅)を測定した。なお、蓄電要素へ電力の入出力を行なうためのタブ部(一対のタブのうち、少なくとも一方のタブ)としては、一般的にニッケル板が用いられるため、ニッケル板に対する接着強度が高いほど、蓄電要素へ電力の入出力を行なうためのタブ部の絶縁用として適しているといえる。
環状オレフィンモノマーとしてのジシクロペンタジエン43部及び対称型トリシクロペンタジエン5部からなる混合モノマーに、エラストマーとしてのエチレン−プロピレン共重合エラストマー(ダウケミカル社製、バーシファイ(登録商標)2300エラストマー)2部、重合触媒としての下記式(7)に示す構造を有するルテニウム触媒(「VC843」)0.032部、及び酸化防止剤(チバスペシャリティーケミカル社製、イルガノックス(登録商標)1010)2部を混合し、反応原液(A)を得た。
エラストマーとして、エチレン−プロピレン共重合エラストマーの代わりに、エチレン−α−ブテン共重合エラストマー(ダウケミカル社製エンゲージ(登録商標)7467)を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様にして、基材フィルム及び粘着フィルムを作製し、同様に評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
反応原液(A)及び反応原液(B)を作製する際における、ジシクロペンタジエンの配合量を38部、対称型トリシクロペンタジエンの配合量を4.5部、エチレン−プロピレン共重合体の配合量を7.5部に、それぞれ変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして基材フィルムを作製した。そして、得られた基材フィルムを用いて、アクリル系粘着剤として、アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル単位:アクリル酸単位=97:3(重量比)(Mw=115000)であるアクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル−アクリル酸共重合体を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、総厚み70μmの粘着フィルムを得た。そして、得られた基材フィルム及び粘着フィルムについて、実施例1と同様に評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
反応原液(A)及び反応原液(B)を作製する際における、ジシクロペンタジエンの配合量を41.17部、対称型トリシクロペンタジエンの配合量を3.83部、エチレン−プロピレン共重合体の配合量を5部に、それぞれ変更した以外は、実施例1と同様にして基材フィルムを作製した。なお、実施例4においては、基材フィルムの厚みを20μmとした。そして、得られた基材フィルムを用いて、アクリル系粘着剤として、アクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル単位:アクリル酸単位=96:4(重量比)であるアクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル−アクリル酸共重合体(Mw=120000)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、総厚み40μmの粘着フィルムを得た。そして、得られた基材フィルム及び粘着フィルムについて、実施例1と同様に評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
厚みを80μmとした以外は、実施例4と同様にして、基材フィルムを得た。そして、得られた基材フィルムを用いて、実施例4と同様にして、総厚み100μmの粘着フィルムを得た。そして、得られた基材フィルム及び粘着フィルムについて、実施例1と同様に評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
エラストマーとしてのエチレン−プロピレン共重合エラストマーを使用しなかった以外は、実施例1と同様にして、基材フィルム及び粘着フィルムを作製し、同様に評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
実施例1と同様にして基材フィルムを作製した。そして、得られた基材フィルムを用いて、アクリル系粘着剤としてのアクリル酸2−エチルヘキシル−アクリル酸共重合体に代えて、ポリブタジエンを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、総厚み70μmの粘着フィルムを得た。そして、得られた基材フィルム及び粘着フィルムについて、実施例1と同様に評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
基材フィルムとして、厚さ50μmのポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム(ユニチカ株式会社製、エンブレット(登録商標))を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ70μmの粘着フィルムを得た。そして、得られた基材フィルム及び粘着フィルムについて、実施例1と同様に評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
基材フィルムとして、厚さ40μmのポリプロピレンフィルム(東洋紡績株式会社製、パイレン(登録商標)フィルム)を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にして、厚さ60μmの粘着フィルムを得た。そして、得られた基材フィルム及び粘着フィルムについて、実施例1と同様に評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
ポリイミド粘着フィルム(寺岡製作所製、No.653F、ポリイミド基材上に、アクリル系粘着剤層が形成された粘着フィルム)について、実施例1と同様に評価を行った。結果を表1に示す。
また、粘着層をポリブタジエンで形成した場合、ならびに、基材フィルムをポリエチレンテレフタレート及びポリプロピレンで形成した場合には、耐熱性および耐電解液性に劣る結果となった(比較例2〜4)。
さらに、ポリイミド基材上に、アクリル系粘着剤層が形成された粘着フィルムは、耐電解液性に劣るものであった(比較例5)。
Claims (7)
- 架橋環状オレフィン重合体とエラストマーとを含む樹脂組成物からなる基材フィルムと、
前記基材フィルム上に形成されたアクリル系粘着剤からなる粘着層とを有することを特徴とする有機電解液系蓄電デバイス用の粘着フィルム。 - 前記エラストマーが、オレフィン系エラストマーであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の有機電解液系蓄電デバイス用の粘着フィルム。
- 前記オレフィン系エラストマーが、エチレン−α−オレフィン共重合エラストマー及びエチレン−プロピレン−ジエン共重合エラストマーから選ばれる少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の有機電解液系蓄電デバイス用の粘着フィルム。
- 前記基材フィルムの厚みが、1〜500μmであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の有機電解液系蓄電デバイス用の粘着フィルム。
- 前記基材フィルムが、環状オレフィンモノマー、エラストマー及び重合触媒を含む重合性組成物を塊状重合して得られた樹脂組成物からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の有機電解液系蓄電デバイス用の粘着フィルム。
- 巻回された蓄電要素の巻き止め用の粘着フィルムである請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の有機電解液系蓄電デバイス用の粘着フィルム。
- 蓄電要素へ電力の入出力を行なうためのタブ部の絶縁用の粘着フィルムである請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の有機電解液系蓄電デバイス用の粘着フィルム。
