Abstract
Description
(1)耐炎性:開孔・滴下・溶融せず、残炎・残塵2秒以下
(2)耐熱性:発火、分離、滴下、溶融せず、かつ収縮率5%以下
(3)耐洗濯性:収縮率3%以下
であることを特徴とする。
1.ポリエーテルイミド繊維
ポリエーテルイミド繊維としては、例えばSABIC INNOVATIVE PLASTICS社製“ULTEM”(限界酸素指数(LOI)32)がある。この繊維は約3cN/deci tex程度の引張強度がある。
2.その他の難燃繊維
(1)ウール:ウールとしては一般的なメリノ種などのウールを使用できる。ウールはそのまま使用しても良いし、染色して使用しても良い。あるいは表面のスケールを除去して防縮加工する等の改質したものを使用しても良い。そのまま使用したり染色して使用するウールを「非改質ウール」という。スケールの除去は防縮加工としてそれ自体は一般的であり、塩素化処理により行う。このような非改質ウール又は改質ウールを使用するのは、吸湿性を向上し、輻射熱を遮断し、高温で過酷な環境下における作業で発汗して濡れても着心地を良好に保て、人体保護のための耐熱性を発揮できるからである。ウールの難燃加工として一般的に知られている国際羊毛事務局が開発したザプロ加工(チタンとジルコニウム塩による処理)したものであっても前記の効果は不変である。
(2)難燃レーヨン:難燃レーヨンとしては、プロバン加工(オルブライト&ウイルソン社が開発したテトラキスヒドロキシメチルホスホニウム塩を用いたアンモニアキュアリング加工)、チバ・ガイギー社が開発したピロパテックスCP加工(N−メチロールジメチルホスノプロピオンアミド加工)、オーストリア国レンチング社の商品名“ビスコースFR”等がある。
(3)難燃アクリル:難燃アクリル繊維としては、例えばカネカ社製モダアクリル繊維“プロテックスM”(限界酸素指数(LOI)32)、旧カネボウ・丸竹コーポレーション社製商品名“ルフネン”等がある。この繊維は2〜3cN/deci tex程度の引張強度がある。
(4)難燃コットン:難燃コットンとしては、例えばプロバン加工(オルブライト&ウイルソン社が開発したテトラキスヒドロキシメチルホスホニウム塩を用いたアンモニアキュアリング加工)、チバ・ガイギー社が開発したピロパテックスCP加工(N−メチロールジメチルホスノプロピオンアミド加工)を施したコットンがある。
(5)難燃ビニロン:難燃ビニロンとしては、例えばクラレ社製商品名“バイナール”がある。
(6)アラミド:アラミド繊維としては、パラ系アラミド繊維とメタ系アラミド繊維があリ、本発明においてはどちらも使用できる。パラ系アラミド繊維は、引張強度が高く(例えば帝人社製“テクノーラ”:24.7cN/deci tex、デュポン社製“ケブラー”:20.3〜24.7cN/deci tex)、熱分解開始温度も高く(前記製品はいずれも約500℃)、限界酸素指数(LOI)は25〜29で、耐熱性布帛や耐熱性防護服として好適だからである。パラ系アラミド繊維の単繊維繊度は、1〜6deci texの範囲が好ましく、更に好ましくは2〜5deci texの範囲である。メタ系アラミド繊維は、例えば帝人社製“コーネックス”(限界酸素指数(LOI)30)とデュポン社製“ノーメックス”(限界酸素指数(LOI)30)があり、4〜7cN/deci tex程度の引張強度がある。
(1)耐炎性:開孔・滴下・溶融せず、残炎・残塵2秒以下
(2)耐熱性:発火、分離、滴下、溶融せず、かつ収縮率5%以下
(3)耐洗濯性:収縮率3%以下
である。これにより、防火服の中間布は、輻射熱を遮断し、高温で過酷な環境下における作業で発汗して濡れても着心地を良好に保て、人体保護のための耐熱性を発揮できる。
(1)耐炎性
国際性能基準ISO 11613-1999に規定されているEN 532-1995にしたがい、垂直にした積層生地に水平方向から所定のバーナーで調整した火炎を、バーナー先端部が17mm離れた位置から当てて測定した。
(2)耐熱性
国際性能基準ISO 11613-1999に規定されているISO 11613-1999,Annex Aにしたがい、180℃,5min加熱したときの耐熱性を測定した。
(3)耐洗濯性
国際性能基準ISO 11613-1999に規定されているISO 6330-1984, 2A-Eにしたがい、5回洗濯した。
(4)耐燃焼性
ISOによる測定結果が、開孔・滴下、溶融せず、残炎・残塵0秒の場合は、JIS L1091A−4法で規定される、垂直に配置した織物試料の下端にブンゼンバーナーで12秒間接炎したときの炭化長、炎を外したときの残炎時間、及び残塵時間を測定した。
(5)帯電圧試験
JIS L1094 5.4法で規定される摩擦帯電減衰測定法により、帯電直後の電圧を測定した。
(6)その他の物性
JIS又は業界規格にしたがって測定した。
ポリエーテルイミド繊維99.5質量%と帯電防止繊維0.5質量%を使用して紡績糸を製造した。ポリエーテルイミド繊維はSABIC INNOVATIVE PLASTICS社製“ULTEM”(限界酸素指数(LOI)32)、単繊維繊度3.3deci tex(3デニール)、平均繊維長76mm,89mm,102mmを各1/3の割合で使用した。帯電防止繊維は、KBセーレン社製“ベルトロン”、単繊維繊度5.6deci tex(5デニール)、平均繊維長:89mmを使用した。
前記原綿を個別に梳毛カードに投入して開繊を行い、繊維ウェブとしてからスライバー混によりブレンドし、前紡工程、精紡工程を経て、経糸としてメートル番手60番双糸(2/60)、S撚93回/10cm,Z撚64回/10cmの紡績糸を作製した。緯糸も同一品とした。
前記紡績糸を経糸と緯糸に使用し、レピア織機を使用して平織り組織の織物を作製した。その後、一浴染めでオリーブグリーン色に染色した。染色機としてニッセン社製高圧染色機を使用し,染料,その他の添加物としてはKAYARON POLYESTER YELLOW FSL(日本化薬)3.60%o.w.f.,KAYARON RED SSL(日本化薬)0.36%o.w.f.,KAYARON POLYESTER BLUE SSL(日本化薬)1.24%o.w.f.,酢酸(68wt%)0.0036%o.w.f.,酢酸ソーダ0.0067%o.w.f.を加え、135℃で60分間染色処理をした。
前記で得られた織物にポリウレタン樹脂の湿式コーティング加工をして防火性防水透湿シートを得た。ポリウレタン系ポリマーとしてポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン(大日精化工業社製商品名“レザミンCU9443”(ウレタン30%)100質量%と、りん窒素系難燃(クラリアントジャパン社製商品名“ペコフレームSTC”3質量%と、ジメチルホルムアミド60質量%を混合し、難燃接着剤を調整した。この組成物をドクターブレードにより、前記織物の上に乾燥膜厚40μmで塗布し、硬化させ、防火性防水透湿シートを得た。得られた防火性防水透湿シートの物性を下記に示す。
(1)透湿度
JIS L1099 B−2法(基布面吸湿剤側)で167g/m2・Hr、同法(膜面吸湿剤側)で173g/m2・Hrであった。
(2)防水性
JIS L1092 B法(高静水圧法、基布面加圧、目皿なし)で237kPa、同法(基布面加圧,目皿あり)で500kPa以上、同法(膜面加圧,目皿なし)で294kPa、同法(膜面加圧,目皿あり)で500kPa以上であった。
(3)燃焼性
JIS L 1091A−4法(垂直法、1992年版、接炎時間12秒)でタテ炭化長12.5cm、ヨコ炭化長12.0mm、タテ残炎時間0.0秒、ヨコ残炎時間0.0秒、タテ残塵時間5.2秒、ヨコ残塵時間3.3秒であった。
(1)耐炎性:開孔・滴下・溶融せず、残炎・残塵2秒以下
(2)耐熱性:発火、分離、滴下、溶融せず、かつ収縮率5%以下
(3)耐洗濯性:収縮率3%以下
であった。この織物をインナーライナーとした。
実施例1で得られた織物に、図2に示すPTFEラミネーション法で作製した防火性防水透湿シートに替えた以外は、実施例1と同様に防火服を作成した。まず、ポリウレタン系ポリマーとしてポリカーボネート系ポリウレタン(大日精化工業社製商品名“レザミンCU9443”(ウレタン30%))100質量%と、りん窒素系難燃(クラリアントジャパン社製商品名“ペコフレームSTC”)3質量%と、ジメチルホルムアミド60質量%を混合し、難燃接着剤を調整した。この接着剤をドクターブレードにより、延伸された多孔質ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)膜(厚さ30μm)に乾燥膜厚20μmで塗布し、この上に前記で得られた織物をのせ、一対のラミネーションローラーでラミネートし、接着剤層を硬化させ、防火性防水透湿シートを得た。得られた防火性防水透湿シートの物性を下記に示す。
(1)透湿度
JIS L1099 B−2法(基布面吸湿剤側)で501g/m2・Hr、同法(膜面吸湿剤側)で196g/m2・Hrであった。
(2)防水性
JIS L1092 B法(高静水圧法、基布面加圧、目皿なし)で120kPa、同法(基布面加圧,目皿あり)で289kPa、同法(膜面加圧,目皿なし)で210kPa、同法(膜面加圧,目皿あり)で500kPa以上であった。
(3)燃焼性
JIS L 1091A−4法(垂直法、1992年版、接炎時間12秒)でタテ炭化長11.9cm、ヨコ炭化長11.0mm、タテ残炎時間0.0秒、ヨコ残炎時間0.0秒、タテ残塵時間1.2秒、ヨコ残塵時間1.1秒であった。
実施例1において、ポリエーテルイミド繊維71.5質量%と、ウール28.0質量%と、帯電防止繊維0.5質量%とからなる短繊維を混紡したこと、及びポリエーテルイミド繊維は実施例1と同様な染色条件で分散染料を使用して先染めし、ウールは常法により酸性染料を用いて先染めした以外は、実施例1と同様とした。得られた織物の特性は国際性能基準ISO 11613-1999による測定において
(1)耐炎性:開孔・滴下・溶融せず、残炎・残塵0秒
(2)耐熱性:発火、分離、滴下、溶融せず、かつ収縮率2.0%
(3)耐洗濯性:収縮率2.0%
であり、合格であった。
実施例1において、ポリエーテルイミド繊維49.5質量%と、ウール50質量%と、帯電防止繊維0.5質量%とからなる短繊維を混紡したこと、及びポリエーテルイミド繊維は実施例1と同様な染色条件で分散染料を使用して先染めし、ウールは常法により酸性染料を用いて先染めした以外は、実施例1と同様とした。得られた織物の特性は国際性能基準ISO 11613-1999による測定において
(1)耐炎性:開孔・滴下・溶融せず、残炎・残塵0秒
(2)耐熱性:発火、分離、滴下、溶融せず、かつ収縮率1.5%
(3)耐洗濯性:収縮率4.5%
であり、不合格であった。
実施例1において、ポリエーテルイミド繊維84.5質量%と、難燃レーヨン:レンチング社製商品名“ビスコースFR”(平均繊維長:75mm、平均繊度:3.3dtex)15.0質量%と、帯電防止繊維0.5質量%とからなる短繊維を混紡した以外は、実施例1と同様とした。得られた織物の特性は国際性能基準ISO 11613-1999による測定において
(1)耐炎性:開孔・滴下・溶融せず、残炎・残塵0秒
(2)耐熱性:発火、分離、滴下、溶融せず、かつ収縮率1.5%
(3)耐洗濯性:収縮率2.0%
であり、合格であった。
実施例1において、ポリエーテルイミド繊維84.5質量%と、難燃アクリル:カネカ社製商品名“カネカロン”(モダクリル)(平均繊維長:100mm、平均繊度:3.3dtex)15.0質量%と、帯電防止繊維0.5質量%とからなる短繊維を混紡した以外は、実施例1と同様とした。得られた織物の特性は国際性能基準ISO 11613-1999による測定において
(1)耐炎性:開孔・滴下・溶融せず、残炎・残塵0秒
(2)耐熱性:発火、分離、滴下、溶融せず、かつ収縮率3.0%
(3)耐洗濯性:収縮率1.0%
であり、合格であった。

Claims (11)
- 難燃繊維を含む防火性防水透湿シートであって、
前記シートは、ポリエーテルイミド繊維50〜100質量%と、その他の難燃繊維0〜50質量%を含む織物、編物及び不織布から選ばれる少なくとも一つの繊維シートと、防水透湿膜が貼り合わされており、
耐炎性、耐熱性及び耐洗濯性が防火服に適用される国際性能基準ISO 11613-1999において、
(1)耐炎性:開孔・滴下・溶融せず、残炎・残塵2秒以下
(2)耐熱性:発火、分離、滴下、溶融せず、かつ収縮率5%以下
(3)耐洗濯性:収縮率3%以下
であることを特徴とする防火性防水透湿シート。 - 前記その他の難燃繊維がウール、難燃レーヨン、難燃アクリル、アラミド、難燃コットン及び難燃ビニロンから選ばれる少なくとも一つの繊維である請求項1に記載の防火性防水透湿シート。
- 前記防火服用生地は、さらに帯電防止繊維を含む請求項1又は2に記載の防火性防水透湿シート。
- 前記生地は、ポリエーテルイミド繊維60〜95質量%と、その他の難燃繊維5〜40質量%を含む請求項1に記載の防火性防水透湿シート。
- 前記繊維シートは、紡績糸を使用した織物又は編物である請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の防火性防水透湿シート。
- 前記防水透湿膜及び/又は必要に応じて介在させる接着剤層には難燃剤を添加させておく請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の防火性防水透湿シート。
- 前記ポリエーテルイミド単繊維の繊度は3.9deci tex(3.5デニール)以下である請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の防火性防水透湿シート。
- 前記ポリエーテルイミド繊維の平均繊維長は30〜220mmの範囲である請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の防火性防水透湿シート。
- 前記ポリエーテルイミド繊維とその他の難燃繊維は、混紡紡績糸から織物又は編物に形成されている請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の防火性防水透湿シート。
- 前記ポリエーテルイミド繊維は、分散染料で染色されている請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の防火性防水透湿シート。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の防火性防水透湿シートを防火服の中間防水布としたことを特徴とする防火服。
