Claims (10)
- 周方向に複数の凹部を有する外周形状のアウターケース側に取り付けられる大径側取付部と、シャフトに取り付けられる小径側取付部と、両者を一体に連結する蛇腹部とからなるブーツ本体と、
前記アウターケースと前記大径側取付部との間に介在し、前記大径側取付部が外嵌される外周面が断面円形状をなすとともに、前記アウターケースに外嵌固定される内周部に前記凹部に嵌合する複数の凸部が周方向に分散して設けられたブッシュと、を備えてなり、
前記ブッシュの内周面には、前記アウターケースの外周面に設けられた周方向に延びる溝に嵌合する突起が設けられ、該突起が前記ブッシュの軸方向において前記大径側取付部による外嵌領域から外れた位置に設けてあるジョイントブーツ。 - 前記突起が前記外嵌領域に対して前記蛇腹部とは反対側に外れた位置に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のジョイントブーツ。
- 前記大径側取付部の端面を軸方向で受け止め可能な拡径部が前記ブッシュの外周部に形成され、前記拡径部におけるブッシュの内周面に前記突起が設けられた請求項2記載のジョイントブーツ。
- 前記ブッシュに前記アウターケースよりも小径の密着内周部が内周面の全周にわたって設けられて、前記ブッシュが前記アウターケースに密着外嵌可能に構成されるとともに、前記蛇腹部とは反対側の前記ブッシュの一端部に、前記アウターケースよりも大径のストレート穴状で、前記ブッシュを前記アウターケースに外嵌する際に前記アウターケースを案内する拡径内周部が内周面の全周にわたって設けられ、前記突起が前記密着内周部と前記拡径内周部との間に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項3記載のジョイントブーツ。
- 前記突起が前記外嵌領域に対して蛇腹部側に外れた位置に設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のジョイントブーツ。
- 前記大径側取付部は、締付部材を受け入れるための周方向に延びる固定用凹部を外周面に備え、該固定用凹部よりも蛇腹部側の内周部が前記ブッシュの外周面を隙間をおいて取り囲んでおり、この隙間をおいて取り囲まれた軸方向範囲内にて前記ブッシュの内周面に前記突起が設けられたことを特徴とする請求項5記載のジョイントブーツ。
- 前記突起が周方向で隣り合う前記凸部間に位置する円弧状壁部のみに設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のジョイントブーツ。
- 前記ブッシュが前記ブーツ本体よりも軟らかい材料で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のジョイントブーツ。
- 前記凸部においてブッシュは、径方向内方に湾曲状に張り出す内側壁部と、ブッシュの外周面の一部を構成する円弧状の外側壁部と、これら内側壁部と外側壁部を両者の周方向中央で連結する径方向に延びる中央支持壁と、該中央支持壁の両側において前記内側壁部と外側壁部を連結する左右のサイド支持壁とを備え、これにより該凸部に4つの肉抜き穴が周方向に並んで設けられたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のジョイントブーツ。
- 前記サイド支持壁が外方ほど前記中央支持壁に近づくように傾斜していることを特徴とする請求項9記載のジョイントブーツ。
