Abstract
Description
(1)分子量:
示差屈折率検出器を備えたゲル浸透クロマトグラフィ(GPC)装置(島津製作所製)を用い、テトラヒドロフランもしくはクロロホルムを溶出液として、40℃、標準ポリスチレン換算で求めた。テトラヒドロフランに溶けにくいものは、少量のクロロホルムに溶解後テトラヒドロフランを加えてサンプルとした。
(2)融点(Tm):
DSC装置(パーキンエルマー社製Pyrisl DSC)を用い、+20℃/分で25℃から250℃まで昇温後、250℃で10分間保持し、250℃から−20℃/分で−50℃まで降温後、−50℃で5分間保持し、再び、+20℃/分で、2ndスキャンとして−50℃から250℃まで昇温させ、2ndスキャンの際の吸熱ピークから融点の値を求めた。
(3)曲げ弾性率・曲げ強度
ASTM−D−790に準じて、127mm×12.7mm×3.2mmの試験片を作製し、変形速度1mm/分で荷重をかけ、曲げ強度と曲げ弾性率とを測定した。
(4)DTUL(熱変形温度):
ASTM−D−648規格に従い、荷重0.45MPaで測定した。
(5)衝撃強度
ASTM−D−256に準じて64mm×12.7mm×3.2mmの試験片を作製し、ノッチをつけて、アイゾット衝撃強度を測定した。
(6)難燃性
射出成形法にて作製した長さ127mm×幅12.7mm×厚み0.8mmの成形品を用い、アンダーライターズラボラトリー社UL規格94の垂直燃焼試験法に準拠して燃焼性を評価した。詳細には、試験片を垂直に保ち、下端にバーナーの火を10秒間接炎させた後で炎を取り除き、試験片に着火した火が消えるまでの時間を測定した。次に、火が消えると同時に2回目の接炎を10秒間行い、1回目と同様にして着火した火が消えるまでの時間を測定した。また、落下する火種により試験片の下の綿が着火するか否かについても同時に評価した。
(7)結晶化速度指数(図1参照)
DSC装置(パーキンエルマー社製Pyrisl DSC)を用い、+500℃/分で20℃からTm+30℃まで昇温した後、Tm+30℃で5分間保持し、次いでTm+30℃から−500℃/分でTc±25℃の範囲内の所定の温度まで降温した後、その温度で保持し結晶化させた。そして、最終的に到達する結晶化度を1としたとき、結晶化度が0.5に達するまでの時間を結晶化速度指数(分)として求めた。
(8)耐久性
試験片を60℃、95%RHの恒温恒湿条件にて500時間保存する試験を行い、試験後において、初期の曲げ強度に対し90%以上の曲げ強度を保持していた場合は◎、50%以上90%未満の場合は○、20%以上50%未満の場合は△、20%未満の場合は×で評価した。なお、曲げ強度は、ASTM−D−790に従い、127mm×12.7mm×3.2mmの試験片に変形速度1mm/分で荷重をかけて測定した。
(9)成形性
射出成形時の不具合であるひけによる厚みムラを測定した結果、成形片の厚みムラが0.01mm未満である場合を◎、成形片の厚みムラが0.01mm以上0.1mm未満である場合を○、成形片を取り出すときに変形したり、厚みむらが0.1mm以上の場合を×と評価した。
1.生分解性ポリエステル樹脂
(A)ポリ乳酸
PLA−A:重量平均分子量19万、L体99モル%、D体1モル%、融点168℃、MFR[メルトフローレート]3g/10分(カーギルダウ社製 ネイチャーワークス)。
(B)その他の樹脂
PBSL:ポリブチレンサクシネート樹脂(三菱化学社製AZ−61TN、重量平均分子量13万、融点110℃)。
2.(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物
PEGDM:ポリエチレングリコールジメタクリレート(日本油脂社製)。
3.過酸化物
I:ジ−t−ブチルパーオキサイド(日本油脂社製)であり、可塑剤であるアセチルトリブチルクエン酸に10%溶液となるよう溶解して用いた。
4.金属酸化物及び又は金属水酸化物
AL:水酸化アルミニウム
MG:水酸化マグネシウム

実施例1
二軸押出成形機(池貝社製PCM−30、ダイス直径;4mm×3孔、押出ヘッド温度;200℃、ダイ出口温度;180℃)を用い、重量平均分子量19万のポリ乳酸(L体99モル%、D体1モル%)(PLA−A)100質量部を供給した。ポンプを用いて混練機の途中からポリエチレングリコールジメタクリレート(日本油脂社製)(PEGDM)0.25質量部と、ジ−t−ブチルパーオキサイド(日本油脂社製)(I)樹脂0.5質量部とを注入した。金属水酸化物としての水酸化アルミニウム58質量部を、上記ポリ乳酸とドライブレンドする方法で添加した。そして、押出してペレット状に加工し、生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物を得た。得られた組成物の物性と、成形試験の結果とを表1に示す。
生分解性ポリエステル樹脂、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物、過酸化物、金属酸化物及び/又は金属水酸化物、各種添加剤を、それぞれ表1に示す種類と量に変えた。それ以外は実施例1と同様にして組成物を得た。得られた組成物について成形試験を行った。その結果を表1に示す。
実施例8
生分解性ポリエステル樹脂、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物、過酸化物、金属酸化物及び/又は金属水酸化物、各種添加剤を、それぞれ表1に示す種類と量に変え、一括ドライブレンドして押出機に供給した。それ以外は実施例1と同様にして組成物を得た。得られた組成物について成形試験を行った。その結果を表1に示す。
実施例20、比較例4
生分解性ポリエステル樹脂として、PBSLを用いた。他の成分は、表1に示す種類及び量とした。それ以外は実施例1と同様にして組成物を得た。得られた組成物について成形試験を行った。その結果を表1に示す。
Claims (9)
- 生分解性ポリエステル樹脂100質量部と、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物0.01〜20質量部と、金属酸化物及び/又は金属水酸化物20〜200質量部とを含むことを特徴とする難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- (メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物が、分子内に2個以上の(メタ)アクリル基を有する化合物であるか、又は1個以上の(メタ)アクリル基と1個以上のグリシジル基もしくはビニル基とを有する化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- 生分解性ポリエステル樹脂が、α−及び/又はβ−ヒドロキシカルボン酸単位を50モル%以上含有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- α−及び/又はβ−ヒドロキシカルボン酸単位が、D−乳酸、L−乳酸、又はこれらの混合物であることを特徴とする請求項3記載の難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- 結晶化速度指数が50(分)以下であることを特徴とする請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項記載の難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物を製造するための方法であって、生分解性ポリエステル樹脂と、(メタ)アクリル酸エステル化合物と、過酸化物と、金属酸化物及び/又は金属水酸化物とを溶融混練することを特徴とする難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 生分解性ポリエステル樹脂100質量部に対して過酸化物を0.1〜20質量部用いることを特徴とする請求項6記載の難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 過酸化物として有機過酸化物を用いることを特徴とする請求項6または7記載の難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の難燃性生分解性ポリエステル樹脂組成物を成形して得られる難燃性生分解性樹脂成形体。
