Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 リング状のステータ翼をその内周面に多段に形
    成した円筒状のハウジングと、 上記ステータ翼間に配置されるロータ翼をその
    外周面に形成した円筒状ロータと、 このロータの内周面とわずかな間隔をもつて該
    ロータを軸受する中空のステータコラムとを備え
    、該ステータコラムの外周面には上記ロータの回
    転を駆動、制御する駆動部、制御部と、駆動部停
    止時作用する保護用ベアリングとが適宜位置に配
    置され、上記駆動部、制御部の動作により、ステ
    ータコラムに対して、ロータを磁気浮揚させると
    同時に、高速回転させ、ハウジングの上部開口よ
    り吸気して、ハウジング下部の排気口から高圧ガ
    スを吐出するようにしたターボ分子ポンプにおい
    て、 前記ステータコラムの下部にパージガス用ポー
    トが形成され、該ポートから導入されたパージガ
    スをステータコラム内に充填させ、上記駆動部、
    制御部を通じて、ステータコラムの外周面と、ロ
    ータの内周面との間隔部から、ポンプ本体内にこ
    れらパージガスを導入し、さらに排気口から排出
    させることにより、ステータコラムに内挿した駆
    動部、制御部用リード線ならびに保護用ベアリン
    グをパージガスにより保護するようにしたことを
    特徴とするターボ分子ポンプ。
