Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明Ｆｉ、４輪駆動装置に関する。
仁の種猛ｉ１．ｉとして例えば実開昭５６−４４９２７
号公報めように、エンジンとトランスミッションとトラ
ンスファ装置とをユニット化させ、このユニットをクラ
ンクシャフトが車両の長手方向に沿うように配置したも
のは公知でおるが、この場合ユニット内には常時４輪駆
動のトランスファ装置を設けているため２輪駆動ができ
ない。
本発明はこのようにユニット化しても二輪と四輪駆動が
適宜切換えられるようにすえ・ことを目的としたもので
エンジンとトランスミッションと、トランスファ装置と
を一体型のケース内に収容してユニット化すると共に、
該ケースのトランスファ装置の両側にそれぞれ軸受を介
し１前輪側出力シャフトと後輪側出力シャフトとを軸支
せしめ、該両シャフトの一端をケース内で相互に軸支さ
せると共に該両シャフトのそ＊’ｔ−ｔ′九一方側と他
方側とに、２輪駆動又＃；ｉ：４輪駆動の切換クラッチ
とトランスファ装置の入力歯車とを支持させたことを特
徴とｆる。
これを図示実施例のものについて説明すると、（１）ｌ
ｄエンジン、（２）はトランスミッション、（３）はト
ランスファ装Ｗｔ、１！ｆ：示し、これらは一体型のケ
ース（４）内に収容してユニット化させると共に、該ケ
ース（４）Ｑよ、その内部のクランクシャフト（５）と
ミッションシャフト（６）とが車両の前後方向に沿って
配置されるように、車両の前輪（７）と後輪（８）との
間に設置さｎ２、そのケース（４）のトランスファ装ｆ
（３）の両側には第２図に示すように軸受１４１１　（
９）を介して前＆ｉ側出力シャフトα呻と後輪側出力シ
ャフト０１）とを軸支せしめ、その後輪側［出力シャフ
トＱ０に前記トランスミッション（２）のカウンターシ
ャフトａ２上の出力歯車θ謙に噛合う入力歯車（」４）
を固着すると共に該シャツ）（ｌυの一端を前記前輪側
出力シャフト０１の他端に嵌合させて、両シャフ）（１
（ＩＱＩ）はその端末で互に相互に軸支し、更に前輪側
出力シャフトαＱの外端には、前記入力歯車（１４）の
軸筒外周に設けたスプライン（１４ａ）と係脱するシフ
ターからなる２輪駆動又１ｄ４輪駆動の切換クラッチ（
１５１が設けられている。
次にその作動を説明すると切換クラッチ（１５）を前輪
側出力シャフトｆＩＩ上に位置させるとき、エンジン（
１）からの駆貞Ｉ力はトランスミッション（２）のカウ
ンターシャフト（１渇から人力歯車０滲を介し１後輪側
出力シャフト０］）に伝達さ力、て後輪１駆％）される
が、切換クラッチ０９を切換えてこオ）を人力歯車（１
４１のスプライン（１４ａ）に係合させるとき後輪側出
力シャフトθＤのみならず前輪側出力７ヤフ）　（１（
ｌも駆動されて４輪駆動されるもので、このように本発
明によるときはエンジンとトランスミッションとトラン
スファ装置とを一体型のケース内に収容してユニット化
さ４ｔりものであるから、ＦＦエンジンの〕ぐワユニッ
トケースをそのま＼利用することができると同時に重両
えの設置が容易となシ面もケースのトランスファ装置の
両側には、そｔｌぞれ軸受を介して前輪側出力シャフト
と後輪側出力シャフトとｔ軸支させ、その両シャフトの
一端をケース内で相互にＩａｌ＋支させると共に両シャ
フトのそれぞれ一方側と他方側とに２輪駆動及び４輪駆
動の切換クラッチとトランスファ装置の入力歯車とを支
持さぜン′こものであるから２輪、駆動と４輪駆動との
切換が容易に行わｎ、て動力の無駄をなくし得られ、又
切換クラッチを前輪側出力シャフトに設けると共ｌ／Ｃ
トンンス７ア装置の人力歯車を後輪側出。
カシャフトに設けると＠し、トランスファ装置・と後輪
側差動機構との間の長さを大きくとることかでき従って
後輪側へ重心を片寄らせてもユニバーザルジヨイントの
許容角内に収めることができるや）の効果を有する。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、　エンジンとトランスミッションと、トランスファ
    装置とを一体型のケース内に収容してユニット化すると
    共に、該ケースのトランスファ装置の両側にそれぞれ軸
    受を介して前輪側出力シャフトと後輪側出力シャフトと
    を軸支せしめ、該両シャフトの一端をケース内で相互に
    軸支させると共に該両シャフトのそれぞれ一方側と他方
    側とに、２輪駆動又は４輪駆動の切換クラッチとトラン
    スファ装置の入力歯車とを支持させたことを特徴とする
    ４Ｍ駆動装置。 ２　前記切換クラッチを前記前輪側出力シャフトに支持
    させると共に前記入力歯車を前記後輪側出力シャフトに
    支持させたこと全特徴とする特許請求の範囲第１項記載
    の４１輪駆動装置。
