Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 触媒材料を金属基質に接着させる方法であって、 主に耐火性酸化物を含む粒子を該基質に直接熱噴霧することでアンダー コートを取り付けた後、 該アンダーコートに該触媒材料の層を付着させる、 ことを含む方法。 2. 該アンダーコートの取り付けが、3以上のRa粗さを有するアンダーコ ートを取り付けることを含み、ここで、Ra=(1/L)(h1+h2+...+ hn)であり、そしてここで、hnは、単位距離離れて位置する一連のn地点各々 で測定した、中心線より上の表面輪郭の高さ測定の絶対値であり、Lは、その単 位で表されるサンプリング長であり、そして該中心線は、この中心線の上の表面 輪郭内の面積の総計がこの中心線の下の表面輪郭内の面積の総計と等しくなるよ うに引いた線である、請求の範囲第1項の方法。 3. 4に等しいか或はそれ以上のRa粗さを有するアンダーコートを該基質 に取り付けることを含む請求の範囲第2項の方法。 4. 該アンダーコートを該粒子の平均直径サイズに少なくともほぼ等しい厚 みになるように取り付けることを含む請求の範囲第1項または第2項の方法。 5. 該耐火性粒子に約13から180ミクロンのサイズ範囲を持たせる請求 の範囲第4項の方法。 6. 該耐火性酸化物粒子が主にアルミナを含む請求の範囲第1項または第2 項の方法。 7. 該アンダーコートを取り付けるに先立って該基質の表面を粗く しておくことを更に含む請求の範囲第1項または第2項の方法。 8. 触媒材料を金属基質に接着させる方法であって、 (a)約13から180ミクロンのサイズ範囲を有するアルミナを主に含む粒 子を該基質に該粒子の平均粒子サイズに少なくとも等しい厚みになるように直接 熱噴霧して少なくとも約3のRa粗さ[ここで、Ra=(1/L)(h1+h2+ ...+hn)であるとしてRaを定義し、ここで、hnは、単位距離離れて位置 する一連のn地点各々で測定した、中心線より上の表面輪郭の高さ測定の絶対値 であり、Lは、その単位で表されるサンプリング長であり、そして該中心線は、 この中心線の上の表面輪郭内の面積の総計がこの中心線の下の表面輪郭内の面積 の総計と等しくなるように引いた線である]を有するアンダーコートを得ること により、アンダーコートを取り付け、そして (b)該アンダーコートを取り付けた基質に該触媒材料の層を付着させる、 ことを含む方法。 9. 該アンダーコートを取り付けるに先立って該金属基質の前処理を行って その表面を粗くしておくことを更に含む請求の範囲第8項の方法。 10. 前処理が該基質のグリット―ブラスティングを行うことを含む請求の 範囲第9項の方法。 11. 段階(b)が該触媒材料の粒子が入っているスラリーに該アンダーコ ートを取り付けた基質を浸漬することを含む請求の範囲第8項の方法。 12. 該触媒材料が、支持体材料上に分散している触媒活性金属種 を含み、そして段階(b)が、該支持体材料を含む層を該アンダーコート上に付 着させそして該支持体材料上に該触媒活性種を分散させることを含む請求の範囲 第8項の方法。 13. 該基質に側面を2つ持たせ、そして該方法が、該基質の両側面に該ア ンダーコートを取り付けて該触媒材料を付着させることを含む請求の範囲第1項 または第8項の方法。
