Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.患者の身体部分に対してエレクトロポレーションを治療目的で適用する装 置であって、 支持装置と、その支持装置に間隔調整式に搭載された2体の電極とを含み、患 者の体内の所定の位置に調整可能に配置されて電界を発生させる電極構造体と、 これら電極間の距離を検出し、その距離に対応した距離信号を発生させる手段 と、 その距離信号に対応して作動し、前記両電極間の距離に対応した電気信号をそ れら両電極に送り、所定の強度と持続時間の電界を反復的に発生させ、体内の所 定の細胞壁を一時的に透過性とし、投与分子をその細胞内に侵入させるパルス発 生機と、 を含んでいることを特徴とする装置。 2.前記電極構造体は前記両電極で定義された可動クランプ式顎体を有した鉗 子装置を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。 3.前記鉗子装置はチューブ内に挿入可能であることを特徴とする請求項2記 載の装置。 4.前記鉗子装置は、中央シャフト部分と、この中央シャフト部分の1端に搭 載された前記クランプ式顎体と、その中央シャフト部分の他端に搭載され、駆動 手段を備えたハンドルグリップと、その駆動手段の相対ポジションの検出手段を 併せ有した前記の電極間隔検出手段と、を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項3 記載の装置。 5.前記電極構造体は、前記両電極を保持し、併せてそれら電極の相対位置を 調整するガイド手段と、前記支持装置に搭載され、それら電極を相対的に移動さ せるように接続されたボルト手段と、そのボルト手段を回動させる手動ギヤ手段 と、を含んでおり、前記電極間隔検出手段は該ボルトと共に駆動するよう係合し た加減抵抗器であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 6.前記電気信号は、指数的に減衰するパルスと、方形パルスと、単極振動パ ルストレーンと、双極振動パルストレーンとで成るパルス群から選択される波形 を有していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 7.前記電界は約0.2kV/cmから約20.0kV/cmの強度を有して いることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。 8.各パルスは約10ミリ秒から約100ミリ秒の持続時間を有していること を特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。 9.前記電界は対象組織体に対して約1パルスから約100パルスの間で適用 されることを特徴とする請求項7記載の方法。 10.患者の身体部分の細胞内に投与分子を導入するためのエレクトロポレーシ ョンの治療的適用方法であって、 患者の体内の所定の位置で電界を発生させるために調整式に間隔を開けられる 2体の電極を含んだ電極手段を提供するステップと、 これら両電極の間隔を検出し、その間隔に対応した信号を発生させるステップ と、 前記電極手段に接続される電気パルス発生機を提供して作動させ、前記電極間 隔に対応した電気信号をそれら両電極に適用し、所定の強度と持続時間の電界を 反復的に発生させ、前記患者の身体部分の治療対象細胞の細胞壁を一時的に透過 性とし、それら細胞内に投与分子を侵入させるステップと、 を含んでいることを特徴とする方法。 11.前記電極手段は、間隔が開けられた前記両電極で定義される可動クランプ 式顎体を有した鉗子装置を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項10記載の装置。 12.前記鉗子装置はチューブに挿入可能であることを特徴とする請求項11記 載の装置。 13.前記鉗子装置は、中央シャフト部分と、この中央シャフト部分の1端に搭 載された前記クランプ式顎体と、その中央シャフト部分の他端に搭載され、駆動 手段を備えたハンドルグリップと、その駆動手段の相対ポジションの検出手段を 併せ有した前記の電極間隔検出手段と、を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1 2記載の装置 14.前記電極構造体は、前記両電極を保持し、併せてそれら電極の相対位置を 調整するガイド手段と、前記支持装置に搭載され、それら電極を相対的に移動さ せるように接続されたボルト手段と、そのボルト手段を回動させる手動ギヤ手段 と、を含んでおり、前記電極間隔検出手段は該ボルトと共に駆動するよう係合し た加減抵抗器であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の方法。 15.前記パルス発生機は約0.2kV/cmから約20kV/cmの強度を有 した電界を発生させるように操作されることを特徴とする請求項14記載の装置 。 16.前記パルス発生機は、指数的に減衰するパルスと、方形パルスと、単極振 動パルストレーンと、双極振動パルストレーンとで成るパルス群から選択される 波形を有した電気信号を発生させるように操作されることを特徴とする請求項1 5記載の装置。 17.前記電極手段は、前記支持装置に固定された第1クランプ体に搭載された 第1の複数の針電極と、その支持装置に固定された第2クランプ体に可動式に搭 載された第2の複数の針電極とを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項10記載の 装置。 18.前記電気信号は、指数的に減衰するパルスと、方形パルスと、単極振動パ ルストレーンと、双極振動パルストレーンとで成るパルス群から選択される波形 を有していることを特徴とする請求項17記載の方法。 19.前記電界は約0.2kV/cmから約20.0kV/cmの強度を有して いることを特徴とする請求項18記載の方法。
