Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.以下を含有する、1つ以上の表面上にコーティングを形成するための組成物 : a)少なくとも1つの重合開始剤を含有する第1溶液であって、ここで、該開 始剤の少なくとも1つが、少なくとも1つのコーティングされるべき該表面に結 合する、第1溶液;および b)1つ以上の重合可能材料および1つ以上の重合開始剤を含有する、第2溶 液。 2.1つ以上の表面上に接着性コーティングを有する組成物であって、該表面と 重合開始剤とを接触させる工程、開始剤を組込む様式で、重合可能材料を添加す る工程、および1つ以上の表面上で重合させる工程により調製される、組成物。 3.以下を含有する、1つ以上の表面にコーティングを付与する際に使用するた めのキット: a)少なくとも1つの重合開始剤を含有する第1溶液を含む1つ以上の貯蔵部 であって、ここで、該開始剤の少なくとも1つが、該コーティングされるべき表 面の少なくとも1つに結合する、貯蔵部; b)1つ以上の重合可能材料および1つ以上の重合開始剤を含有する第2溶液 を含む、1つ以上の貯蔵部。 4.少なくとも1つの前記開始剤が、レドックスベースのフリーラジカル生成シ ステムの成分である、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の組成物。 5.少なくとも1つの前記表面が生物学的材料の表面である、請求項1〜3のい ずれかに記載の組成物。 6.少なくとも1つの前記表面が、生物学的バリアー層に浸透する、医学用デバ イス、医学用インプラントまたは外因性材料の表面である、請求項1〜3のいず れかに記載の組成物。 7.前記第1溶液が重合可能材料をさらに含有する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに 記載の組成物。 8.前記開始剤の少なくとも1つが金属イオンである、請求項4に記載の組成物 。 9.前記開始剤の少なくとも1つが光開始剤である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに 記載の組成物。 10.前記コーティングが生物学的活性材料をさらに含有する、請求項1〜4の いずれかに記載の組成物。 11.前記生物学的活性材料が、タンパク質、ペプチド、有機合成分子、無機化 合物、天然抽出物、核酸、脂質、ステロイド、炭水化物、およびこれらの組合せ からなる群より選択される、請求項10に記載の組成物。 12.前記コーティングが1つより多くの表面間に結合を形成する、請求項1〜 4のいずれかに記載の組成物。 13.前記コーティングがゲルを形成する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の組 成物。 14.前記重合可能材料が、1分子当たり、少なくとも1つのフリーラジカル重 合可能基を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の組成物。 15.少なくとも1つの表面が、経皮カテーテル、経皮カニューレ、尿カテーテ ル、経皮電気ワイヤ(経皮エレクトリカルワイヤ)、オストミー器具、表面電極 およびインプラント電極、ペースメーカー、除細動器、ならびに組織増殖(tiss ue augmentation)からなる群より選択されるデバイスの表面から選択される、 請求項6に記載の組成物。 16.前記第1溶液中の重合可能材料の濃度が、前記第2溶液中の重合可能材料 の濃度より高い、請求項7に記載の組成物。 17.1つ以上の表面上に接着性コーティングを形成する方法であって、該表面 に重合開始剤を付与する工程、開始剤を組込む様式で重合可能材料を添加する工 程、および1つ以上の表面上で該材料を重合する工程、を包含する、方法。 18.前記重合可能材料が光重合可能なポリマー溶液である、請求項17に記載 の方法。 19.前記表面が組織または細胞である、請求項17に記載の方法。 20.前記表面が、患者へのインプラント用のデバイスまたは補綴の部分である 、請求項17に記載の方法。 21.前記接着されるべき2つの組織表面が重合開始剤と接触し、重合可能材料 が片面または両面に付与され、該表面が並列し、そして該重合可能材料が重合さ れる、請求項19に記載の方法。 22.重合開始剤が前記組織表面に付与され、そして重合可能材料が付与され、 そして他の組織が重合可能材料と接触することなく重合される、請求項19に記 載の方法。 23.前記コーティングがゲルを形成する、請求項17に記載の方法。 24.前記重合可能材料が、付加重合可能な化合物である、請求項17に記載の 方法。 25.前記重合可能材料が水溶性モノマーである、請求項17に記載の方法。 26.前記コーティングが生分解性である、請求項17に記載の方法。 27.前記コーティングが生物学的活性材料を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。 28.前記生物学的活性物質が、タンパク質、ペプチド、有機合成分子、無機化 合物、天然抽出物、核酸、脂質、ステロイド、炭水化物、およびこれらの組合せ からなる群より選択される、請求項27に記載の方法。 29.以下の工程を包含する、空気を含む体液の漏れを低減させるためのプロセ ス: 組織表面領域に重合開始剤を付与する工程、 生分解性で、生体適合性で、重合可能なモノマーを含有する溶液を、開始剤を 組込む様式で、前記開始剤をコーティングした表面に付与する工程、および 該モノマーを重合して該領域をシールし、そして該領域を通過する体液の漏れ を低減させる工程。 30.前記体液(流体)が、血液、血漿、空気、尿、腸含有物、脳髄液、涙、お よび粘液からなる群より選択される、請求項29に記載のプロセス。 31.前記流体が空気である、請求項30に記載のプロセス。 32.前記身体領域が気道の部分である、請求項30に記載のプロセス。 33.前記身体領域が肺である、請求項32に記載のプロセス。 34.前記ポリマーが光重合可能であり、そして前記開始剤が光開始剤である、 請求項29に記載のプロセス。 35.前記光開始剤がエオシンである、請求項34に記載のプロセス。 36.前記処置されるべき領域が光開始剤でコーティングされ、そして前記重合 可能モノマーが光開始剤を含有する溶液に付与される、請求項29に記載のプロ セス。 37.前記材料が重合される場合、前記組織表面が互いに接着される2つの組織 層の間の表面である、請求項29に記載のプロセス。 38.前記組織層が、髄膜、身体の滑膜空間、腹膜、心膜、腱および関節の滑膜 、腎嚢および他の漿膜、ならびに真皮および表皮からなる群より選択される、請 求項37に記載のプロセス。 39.前記溶液が、前記組織に放出するための生物学的活性材料をさらに含有す る、請求項32に記載のプロセス。 るためのアプリケーター出口を有する遠位部分を備える、医学的セッティングに おいて組織表面に流体を分配するためのデバイスであって、 該デバイスが、該組織表面に分配されるべき流体を受容するための少なくとも 2つのチャンバーおよび各チャンバーを該デバイスの該遠位部分でアプリケータ ー出口に接続する導管、該近位部分でトリガーに作動可能に連結し得、該第1チ ャンバーから該組織表面への流体の分配を活性化する第1分配メカニズム、なら びに該近位部分でトリガーに作動可能に連結し得、該第2チャンバーから該組織 表面への流体の分配を活性化する第2分配メカニズムを含み、ここで、トリガー にかかる力が、直接、チャンバーから流体を分配する力を与える、ことを特徴と する、デバイス。 44.デバイス使用者によって作動可能な近位部分および組織表面をアドレスす るためのアプリケーター出口を有する遠位部分を備える、医学的セッティングに おいて組織表面に流体を分配するためのデバイスであって、 該デバイスが、該組織表面に分配されるべき流体を受容するための少なくとも 2つのチャンバーおよび各チャンバーを該デバイスの該遠位部分でアプリケータ ー出口に接続する導管、該近位部分でトリガーに作動可能に連結し得、該第1チ ャンバーから該組織表面への流体の分配を活性化する第1分配メカニズム、なら びに該近位部分でトリガーに作動可能に連結し得、該第2チャンバーから該組織 表面への流体の分配を活性化する第2分配メカニズム、ならびに該遠位部分に該 組織表面で該流体に光を付与するための光学エミッターを含む、ことを特徴とす る、デバイス。 45.デバイス使用者によって作動可能な近位部分および組織表面をアドレスす るためのアプリケーター出口を有する遠位部分を備える、医学的セッティングに おいて組織表面に流体を分配するためのデバイスであって、 該デバイスが、該組織表面に分配されるべき流体を受容するための少なくとも 2つのチャンバーおよび各チャンバーを該デバイスの該遠位部分でアプリケータ ー出口に接続する導管、該近位部分でトリガーに作動可能に連結し得、該第1チ ャンバーから該組織表面への流体の分配を活性化する第1分配メカニズム、なら びに該近位部分でトリガーに作動可能に連結し得、該第2チャンバーから該組織 表面への流体の分配を活性化する第2分配メカニズム、ならびに該近位部分にお いて該デバイスの使用者によって作動可能で、該第1分配メカニズムに該トリガ ーを作動可能に連結する第1部分と第2分配メカニズムに該トリガーを作動可能 に連結する第2部分との間でスイッチ可能な分配スイッチを含む、ことを特徴と する、デバイス。 46.前記デバイスが、該デバイスの遠位部分で第1チャンバーと第1アプリケ ーター出口とを接続する第1導管、および該デバイスの遠位部分で第2チャンバ ーと第2アプリケーター出口とを接続する第2導管を含むことを特徴とする、請 求項43〜45のいずれかに記載のデバイス。 47.前記チャンバーがそれぞれ、該チャンバー内に挿入可能な、流体の別々の 容器を受容するように適応し、各容器が、流体が漏れない様式で、アプリケータ ー出口に接続する流体導管に連結可能な容器流体出口を有する、ことを特徴とす る、請求項43〜45のいずれかに記載のデバイス。 48.前記デバイスが、チャンバーからの流体の分配を活性化する、第1および 第2分配メカニズムを含み、各分配メカニズムがラチェットを含む、ことを特徴 とする、請求項43〜45のいずれかに記載のデバイス。 49.前記光学エミッターが、前記デバイスの遠位領域にて光源であるか、また は光ファイバーもしくは光ガイドを介して光源に接続するか、または絞られた遠 隔光線である、ことを特徴とする、請求項44に記載のデバイス。 50.前記デバイスが、前記近位部分にて、使用者が前記光エミッターのスイッ チを入れたり切ったりするための作動が可能な光学スイッチを含む、ことを特徴 とする、請求項44に記載のデバイス。 51.前記光学エミッターが、前記デバイスの近位領域を通る光ファイバーを介 して、光源に接続する、ことを特徴とする、請求項44に記載のデバイス。 52.前記チャンバーがそれぞれ、前記アプリケーター出口に各チャンバーを接 続する前記導管の流体漏れしないシールに接続可能なシリンジを受容するために 適応する、ことを特徴とする、請求項43〜45のいずれかに記載のデバイス。 53.前記デバイスが、前記近位部分でトリガーに作動可能に連結し得、前記第 1チャンバー内に挿入可能なシリンジのプランジャーのドライバーを含む第1分 配メカニズム、および前記近位部分でトリガーに作動可能に連結し得、前記第2 チャンバー内に挿入可能なシリンジのプランジャーのドライバーを含む第2分配 メカニズムを含む、ことを特徴とする、請求項52に記載のデバイス。 54.前記デバイスが、光学スイッチ、前記第1および第2分配メカニズムに作 動可能に連結し得るトリガー、ならびに該第1分配メカニズムに該トリガーを作 動可能に接続する第1部分と該第2分配メカニズムに該トリガーを作動可能に接 続する第2部分との間で動作可能な分配スイッチを含む携帯用のデバイスであり 、該光学スイッチ、トリガー、および分配スイッチはそれぞれ、使用者が該デバ イスを持つ片手で操作し得る、ことを特徴とする、請求項43〜45のいずれか に記載のデバイス。 55.前記デバイスが、ハンドル、前記トリガー、および前記分配メカニズムを 有する第1ユニット、ならびに前記チャンバーを含み、該第1ユニットに取り付 け可能で、かつ第1ユニットから取り外し可能な第2ユニットを含む、ことを特 徴とする、請求項43〜45のいずれかに記載のデバイス。 56.前記デバイスが、組織表面上でアプリケーター出口から分配される流体を 広げるための広げる部材を含む、ことを特徴とする、請求項43〜45のいずれ かに記載のデバイス。 57.前記デバイスが、前記分配スイッチに作動可能に連結し、前記第1および 第2分配メカニズムに関する分配スイッチのセッティングを該デバイスの使用者 に視覚的に示すディスプレーを含む、ことを特徴とする、請求項43〜45のい ずれかに記載のデバイス。 58.組織表面および流体出口に分配されるべき流体を収容するための貯蔵部を 備えるデバイスへのアタッチメントにより医学的セッティングに使用するための 分配アダプターであって、該アダプターが、該デバイスに対して固定可能で、か つ取り外し可能であり、そして流体が漏れない様式で、該デバイスの流体出口に 接続可能な近位端部を有する導管、アダプター流体出口を規定する遠位端部、お よび該遠位端部において、該アダプター流体出口から該組織表面上に分配された 分配流体を広げるように適応する広げる部材を含む、ことを特徴とする、分配ア ダプター。 59.前記アダプターがシリンジの流体出口に固定可能であることを特徴とする 、請求項58に記載の分配アダプター。 60.前記アダプターが、前記デバイスを収容するための不透明チャンバーを含 む第2分配アダプターを介して組織表面に分配されるべき流体を収容する貯蔵部 、流体が漏れない様式で、該デバイスの流体出口に接続可能な近位端部を有する 不透明導管、および流体が漏れない様式で、該分配アダプターに接続可能な遠位 端部を備える、該デバイスに接続可能である、ことを特徴とする、請求項58ま たは59に記載の分配アダプター。 61.組織表面およびアプリケーター出口に分配されるべき流体を収容するため の貯蔵部を備えるデバイスへのアタッチメントにより医学的セッティングに使用 するための分配アダプターであって、該アダプターが、該デバイスを収容するた めの不透明チャンバー、流体が漏れない様式で、該デバイスの該流体出口に接続 可能な近位端部を有する不透明導管、およびアダプター流体出口を規定する遠位 端部を含む、ことを特徴とする、分配アダプター。 62.前記アダプターが該アダプター流体出口に結び付く広げる部材を含むこと を特徴とする、請求項61に記載の分配アダプター。 63.前記アダプターが、前記アダプター流体出口に固定可能で、かつそこから 取り外し可能な第2アダプターを含み、そして流体が漏れない様式で、該アダプ ター流体出口に接続可能な近位端部を有する導管、流体出口を規定する遠位端部 、および該遠位端部で該流体出口から前記組織表面上に分配される流体を広げる ように適応させる広げる部材を含む、ことを特徴とする、請求項61または62 に記載の分配アダプター。 64.前記コーティングがヒドロゲルを形成する、請求項23に記載の方法。 65.前記溶液の少なくとも1つが水溶液である、請求項1または3に記載の組 成物。 66.少なくとも1つの前記溶液が約10重量%と90重量%との間の水を含有する 、請求項65に記載の組成物。 67.少なくとも1つの前記溶液が約70重量%と80重量%の水を含有する、請求 項66に記載の組成物。 68.前記溶液が生体適合性である、請求項1、3または64のいずれかに記載 の組成物。 69.前記重合可能材料のポリマーが生分解性である、請求項1、3または64 のいずれかに記載の組成物。 70.生体に適用するためのデバイスと組合わされた、請求項1〜3または64 のいずれかに記載の組成物。 71.心臓血管手術、胸郭手術、全身手術、形成手術、耳鼻咽喉科学的手術、眼 科手術(opthalmological)、整形外科手術、婦人科手術、および泌尿器科手術 からなる群より選択される外科手術手順における、請求項1〜3または64のい ずれかに記載の組成物の使用。 72.心臓血管手術、胸郭手術、全身手術、形成手術、耳鼻咽喉科学的手術、眼 科手術、整形外科手術、婦人科手術、および泌尿器科手術からなる群より選択さ れる外科手術手順における、請求項43〜63のいずれかに記載のデバイスの使 用。 73.前記第2溶液中の開始剤が光開始剤である、請求項4に記載の組成物。 74.前記レドックスベースのフリーラジカル生成システムが過酸素化合物を含 む、請求項4に記載の組成物。 75.前記金属イオンが遷移金属イオン、ランタニドイオンまたはアクチニドイ オンである、請求項8に記載の組成物。
