Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.キャリア・オフセットが現れやすい、デジタル・イメージ・データを表すデ ータ・シンボルの1次元配置としてフォーマットされた残留側波帯(VSB)ビ デオ信号を受信するためのシステム中の装置において、 ベースバンドの方へ受信したVSBを遷移するキャリア復元ネットワーク(2 2,30)と、 前記キャリア復元ネットワーク中の位相検出部(32)と を備え、 ベースバンド近傍のVSB信号を受信する入力と、 前記入力VSB信号に応答して量子化されたVSB信号を生成する量子化 部(310)と、 前記入力VSB信号を遅延し、かつ、前記量子化された信号を遅延するシ ンボル遅延ネットワーク(312,314)と、 前記量子化されたVSB信号および前記遅延ネットワークからのシンボル 遅延信号に応答して、第1の信号を生成する第1の乗算部(316)と、 前記入力VSB信号および前記遅延ネットワークからのシンボル遅延量子 化信号に応答して、第2の信号を生成する第2の乗算部(314)と、 前記第1と第2の信号を差を取るように結合して、位相エラー表示信号を 生成する結合部と を含むことを特徴とする装置。 2.請求項1記載の装置において、 前記入力VSB信号は、虚成分ではなく、実成分に示されること を特徴とする装置。 3.請求項1記載の装置において、さらに、 送信機クロックと同期するシンボル・クロックを供給することにより、前記位 相検出部への前記入力信号がタイミング・ロックを表すタイミング復元ネット ワーク を備えることを特徴とする装置。 4.請求項1記載の装置において、 送信されたVSB信号を受ける入力と、前記キャリア復元ネットワークに結合 される出力と、および前記エラー信号の関数である制御信号を受ける制御入力と を有する信号イコライザ(20) をさらに含むことを特徴とする装置。 5.請求項4記載の装置において、 送信されたVSB信号を受ける入力と、前記イコライザに結合される出力とを 有する追加的なキャリア復元ネットワーク(18) をさらに含むことを特徴とする装置。 6.請求項1記載の装置において、 前記入力VSB信号はNレベルVSB信号であり、かつ前記量子化部はN量子 化レベルを示す ことを特徴とする装置。 7.請求項1記載の装置において、 前記遅延ネットワークは1シンボル遅延を示す ことを特徴とする装置。
