Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.次のa)及びb)から本質的になるベアリングボール。 a)窒化ケイ素の結晶相少なくとも約94w/o b)Mg、Al、Si及びOから本質的になる単一粒界相 2.前記粒界相が、マグネシアとして、1〜2w/oのMg、アルミナとして 、0.2〜1.0w/oのAl、シリカとして、2〜4w/oのSi、及び酸素 から本質的になる、請求の範囲第1項記載のボール。 3.前記粒界相のMg成分が、マグネシアとして、当該ベアリングの1.0〜 1.6w/oである、請求の範囲第2項記載のベアリング。 4.前記粒界相のAl成分が、アルミナとして、当該ベアリングの0.3〜0 .6w/oである、請求の範囲第2項記載のベアリング。 5.前記粒界相のSi成分が、シリカとして、当該ベアリングの2.0〜3. 0w/oである、請求の範囲第2項記載のベアリング。 6.ASTMの試験 771で6.9GPaの適用接触応力下において少なくとも5000万回の 応力サイクルのL10値を持つ、請求の範囲第2項記載のベアリング。 7.少なくとも6000万サイクルのL10値を持つ、請求の範囲第2項記載のベ アリング。 8.少なくとも7000万サイクルのL10値を持つ、請求の範囲第2項記載のベ アリング。
