Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) 本発明は未加硫ゴム部材を巻取る際に使用するS癖を付
けた巻取用ライナーおよびその製造方法に関するもので
ある。
(従来の技術) 未加硫ゴム部材、例えばタイヤの製造に用いられる未加
硫ゴム部材は、供給する工程と使用組立てる工程との間
で一時保管する場合である。そして保管に当っては通常
長い帯状の未加硫ゴム部材を巻物として保管するが、ゴ
ム部材の変形を防止する等の目的で巻取用ライナーに挟
んで巻取って巻物状で一時的に保管されるのが一般的で
ある。
このようにして保管される未加硫ゴム部材がコンタ−付
未加硫ゴム部材、例えばトップ・サイドトレッドやイン
ナーライナー等に用いられるコンタ−付きゴム部材では
第3図に示す如く、未加硫ゴム部材7の幅方向に厚み差
があり、凸部を巻取用ライナー1の内部に収めきれずに
出っ張ったまま巻かれると幅方向に異なって外径となり
、巻出して使用すると、第4図に示すように未加硫ゴム
部材は長さ方向に曲った形状になる。また長尺巻きにす
ると巻物の下側になっている未加硫ゴム部材が自重で押
し潰され変形する。更に巻取用ライナーにしわが発生し
てしわ跡がゴム部材に付いて不良品となる。このため巻
取用ライナーの改善が試みられている。
(発明が解決しようとする課題) 従来使用されている巻取用ライナーでは未加硫ゴム部材
を巻取るとゴム部材表面に当て布の目が形成されて、タ
ッキネスが低下すると共に巻取位置(巻外、中、芯)で
タッキネス変動が生じる。
このためにゴム部材を使用工程で巻出して積層組合せ作
業すると、他のゴム部材との接合力が弱く、 (イ)作業性、能率が著しく低下する。
(ロ)製品間に空気が入って不良品となる。
(ハ)製品としてゴム部材界面の接着力か悪く不良品と
なる。
(ニ)接合力を良くするためにゴム揮、ゴムセメントを
用いるので余分な費用が発生すると共に作業環境上好ま
しくない 等の問題が生じていた。
これ等の問題を解決するためこれまで第5図に示すよう
に長い帯状の伸びのない補強布2の両面に3〜5 mm
程度の厚さを有する薄い軟質発泡体3を接着し、更に該
発泡体3の外面に夫々伸縮性のある当て布4を接合し、
その上にウレタン、ポリエステル、ナイロン、ポリプロ
ピレン、スチレン・ブタジェンゴム(SBR) 、クロ
ロプレンゴム(C12)、アクリロニトリルブタジェン
ゴム(NBR) 、ニトリル、シリコンゴム等のシート
状エラストマー5を貼り合せた巻取用ライナーが提案さ
れている。この様な巻取用ライナーでは第6図に示す様
に貼り合せシート状エラストマー5により伸縮性のある
当て布4の動きが拘束されて、ライナー内(径)側にし
わ8が形成され、しわ跡がゴム部材に付いて不良品とな
るという問題点があった。
(課題を解決しようとする手段) 本発明者らは上記問題点を解決すべく鋭意研究を行った
結果、上記の巻取用ライナーの軟質発泡体に接合させる
外面部材の片方または両方の外表面に伸縮性、弾性のあ
るものを用い、巻取用ライナーを作製する際に、故意に
実際に未加硫ゴム部材を巻取る時の巻径に合せてライナ
ーに巻癖を付けることにより上記問題点を解決し得るこ
とを見出し本発明を達成するに至った。
従って本発明の第1の発明は長い帯状の伸縮性のない補
強布の片面または両面に軟質発泡体層を備え、軟質発泡
体層上に伸縮性のある布を備え、更に最外側面にシート
状エラストマー層を備えた長い帯状の積層体から成り巻
癖が付けられていることを特徴とする巻癖を付けた未加
硫ゴム部材の巻取用ライナーに関するものである。
本発明の未加硫ゴム部材の巻取用ライナーは、巻癖を付
けたものであり、特に未加硫ゴム部材を巻取る時の巻径
に合わせてまたは巻取りの曲率に追従して巻癖が付けて
あり、内(径)側は圧縮力が軽減されてしわが発生する
ことがない。
本発明において、巻取用ライナーに巻癖を付ける方法と
しては、2つの方法がある。従って本発明の第2の発明
は、巻癖を付けた未加硫ゴム部材の巻取・用ライナーを
製造するに当り、長い帯状の伸縮性のない補強布の片面
または両面に軟質発泡体を接着し、次いで片面にシート
状エラストマー層を接合した伸縮性のある布を、上記軟
質発泡体の表裏両面に、一方の上記伸縮性のある布を他
方の伸縮性のある布より強力に引張って接着して巻癖を
付けることを特徴とする巻癖を付けた未加硫ゴム部材の
巻取用ライナーの製造方法に関するものである。
第1の方法である上記第2の発明で巻癖を付けた未加硫
ゴム部材の巻取用ライナーを作製する際には、好ましく
は長い帯状の伸縮性のない補強布の両面に軟質発泡体を
接着し、次いで伸縮弾性のある布の片面にシート状エラ
ストマー層を接着したものをライナー外面部材として用
い、上記軟質発泡体の表裏両面に、一方の外面部材を他
方の外面部材より強力に引張って熱融着する。この場合
2回にわけて張りつけるのが好ましく、強力に引張った
方の外面部材が弾性回復して他方の外面部材よりも収縮
して巻癖がつく。巻癖の度合は引張り力の差で制御する
ことができる。
また、本発明の第3の発明は巻癖を付けた未加硫ゴム部
材の巻取用ライナーを製造するに当り、長い帯状の伸縮
性のない補強布の片面または両面に軟質発泡体を接着し
、この上に伸縮性のある布を接着し、更にこの上に液状
の硬化型エラストマーを塗布した後エラストマーを非粘
着状態とじて巻取った後硬化させることを特徴とする巻
癖を付けた未加硫ゴム部材の巻取用ライナーの製造方法
に関するものである。
第2の方法である上記第3の発明で巻取用ライナーを作
製する際には、好ましくは伸縮性のない布の片側に軟質
発泡体を接着し、この上に伸縮性のある布を熱融着し、
熱硬化型エラストマーをシート状に塗布する。一方伸縮
性のない布の他側にエラストマーをシート状に塗布し、
伸縮性のある布を外側に配置して巻取ると外側の布が曲
げに追従した状態になり、このまま巻取った状態で硬化
させると容易に巻癖を形成させることができる。
(作 用) 巻取用ライナーは所定の厚みがあり、ゴム部材を巻取る
と曲げ応力によって第6図のように厚みの中心点より内
(径)側は圧縮力が働いてライナーしわ8が発生するが
、本発明によると予めライナーに巻癖を付けることによ
り巻取りの曲率に追従して内(径)側は圧縮力が軽減さ
れてライナーしわが発生しない。
(実施例) 本発明を次の実施例により説明する。
ス1」1= 本例では第1図に示す巻取用ライナーを作製した。
先ず中心部の伸縮性のない補強布2の両面に厚さ3I[
1mの軟質発泡ウレタン3を熱融着にて接合した。次い
で表と裏の軟質発泡ウレタン表面に、予め伸縮性のある
布4に片面のみエラストマー層5として熱硬化型シリコ
ンゴムを接着させた外面部材5−1および5−2を順次
引張り力を変えて熱融着により接合させて巻癖をつけた
巻取用ライナーを得た。
上記引張り力を変えて作られた巻取用ライナーは曲率半
径rが7.5 cm〜75cmの範囲になるように変化
させた。
夫籐拠1 本例では第2図に示す巻取用ライナーを作製した。
先ず厚さ511I11の軟質ウレタン発泡体3の一方の
外面に伸縮性のある布4、他方の面に伸縮性のない補強
布2を熱融着により接合した。次いで創外面に液状の自
然硬化型シリコーンゴムを塗布してシート状エラストマ
ー層5を形成してから熱処理しである程度の非粘着状態
にしてから離型フィルム6を中間に巻込んで伸縮性のあ
る布4を外(径)側にして巻取り、硬化させて巻取用ラ
イナーを得た。
本例では、エラストマー層を形成するのに自然硬化型シ
リコーンゴムを用いたが、熱硬化型のものを用いること
もできる。
上記実施例1および2で得た巻取用ライナーを一日放置
した後巻出で評価したがタッキネスは良好であ−り且つ
巻取用ライナーしわの発生による不良品の発生もなかっ
た。
(発明の効果) 以上説明してきたように、本発明によれば、積層体で構
成された巻取用ライナーで挟んで巻取られた未加硫ゴム
部材は伸縮性のある当て布、厚みの十分な軟質ウレタン
などにより変形のない正常な形状を保つことができる上
に、ライナーは巻癖が付けられているのでしわの発生も
なく、ライナーの機械的疲労による劣化が少なくなり寿
命が向上したという効果が得られる。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1、長い帯状の伸縮性のない補強布の片面または両面に
    軟質発泡体層を備え、軟質発泡体層上に伸縮性のある布
    を備え、更に最外側面にシート状エラストマー層を備え
    た長い帯状の積層体から成り巻癖が付けられていること
    を特徴とする巻癖を付けた未加硫ゴム部材の巻取用ライ
    ナー。 2、巻癖を付けた未加硫ゴム部材の巻取用ライナーを製
    造するに当り、長い帯状の伸縮性のない補強布の片面ま
    たは両面に軟質発泡体を接着し、次いで片面にシート状
    エラストマー層を接合した伸縮性のある布を、上記軟質
    発泡体の表裏両面に、一方の上記伸縮性のある布を他方
    の伸縮性のある布より強力に引張って接着して巻癖を付
    けることを特徴とする巻癖を付けた未加硫ゴム部材の巻
    取用ライナーの製造方法。 3、巻癖を付けた未加硫ゴム部材の巻取用ライナーを製
    造するに当り、長い帯状の伸縮性のない補強布の片面ま
    たは両面に軟質発泡体を接着し、この上に伸縮性のある
    布を接着し、更にこの上に液状の硬化型エラストマーを
    塗布した後エラストマーを非粘着状態として巻取った後
    硬化させることを特徴とする巻癖を付けた未加硫ゴム部
    材の巻取用ライナーの製造方法。
