Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本発明は、2つの中空部材を互いに留め接合す
る留め接合方法に関する。
[従来の技術] 従来、2つの中空部材を互いに留め接合する方
法として、2つの部材の端部を角度切りして相対
向する接合面を設け、中空空間に略L字状の接続
具を嵌合して両部材の接合面を突き合わせるとと
もに外周面より略L字状の接続具と両部材とを螺
子止め等の固定手段により接続することが知られ
ている。
[発明が解決しようとする課題] 上述した従来の中空部材の留め接合方法では、
略L字状の接続具に両部材を引き寄せる作用がな
いので両部材の接合部に隙間ができ易く、見苦し
い外観となる問題点があつた。
[課題を解決するための手段] 本発明の2つの部材の接合方法は、 各中空部材の端部に角度切りにより、中空空間
が開口した相対向する接合面を設け、 各中空部材の接合状態で入隈部または出隈部を
なす一方の見付け壁を削除して前記中空空間に連
なる挿通口を設け、 各中空部材を構成する見込み壁の少なくとも一
方の内面に、見込み壁の肉厚を利用して一方の見
付け壁から他方の見付け壁に向かつて上記挿通口
に連通する嵌合溝を設け、 各中空部材の嵌合溝に嵌合する嵌合突部を有す
る接合部材を前記中空空間に挿入するとともに各
中空部材の嵌合溝に嵌合することを含む。
[作用] 上記構成としたので、接合部材を両中空部材に
またがつて各々の中空空間に挿入すると、各中空
部材の嵌合溝に嵌合部が嵌合することにより、両
部材が引き寄せられることになり、2つの中空部
材を隙間なく強めて強固に結合することができ
る。
[実施例] 次に、本発明の実施例について図面を参照して
説明する。
第1図は本発明の中空部材の留め接合方法が適
用された窓枠の平面図、第2図、第3図は第1図
のA部の拡大図、第4図、第5図は第3図の−
,−線に沿う断面で異なつた接合部材を用
いた場合を示す図、第6図および第7図は本発明
の別の実施例を示す図、第8図は第7図の−
線に沿う断面を示す図、第9図は第8図に相当す
る別の実施例のものの断面を示す図、第10図は
接合部材の別の実施例を示す図、第11図は金属
枠と合成樹脂枠との組合せ枠の例を示す図、第1
2図はその−線に沿う断面を示す図である。
第1図には窓枠の例を示されており、これはそ
れぞれのコーナー部において接合部材7(第7
図)によつて互いにつき合わされた個別の中空部
材1ないし4から構成されている。
中空部材1,2にはその端部が45゜の角度で切
断されて互いに対向する接合面9,10が形成さ
れている。そして接合面9,10には内側の見付
け壁を削除して中空空間に連なる挿通口および係
止縁11,11′,12,12′が形成され、内壁
1,1″,2,2″には内側の見付け壁から外側の
見付け壁に向かつて上記挿通口と連通し、接合面
9,10と平行に延びる嵌合溝5,5″,6,
6″が形成されて、これらは接合部材7が矢印8
の方向から挿入される案内部5,6を構成してい
る。中空部材2と3,3と4,4と1の接合面も
同様の構造をしている。接合部材7は、中空部材
1,2の嵌合用溝5′,5″,6′,6″よりも僅か
に大きい寸法に形成されていて、これにより接合
部材7が溝5′,5″,6′,6″の中に押し込まれ
た時に中空部材1,2の材料中に喰い込んで、そ
れにより極めて固く、かつ確実な結合が保証され
る。
第4図の実施例においては、中空部1,2の外
側の内面1′,2′に唯1個の溝が形成されてい
る。これに対応して接合部材20はU字形をなし
ている。
第5図の実施例では接合部材21は燕尾形状を
なしている。
第6図の実施例では、中空部材1,2は2本の
接合部材7で接合される。
第7図、第8図の実施例は、中空部材1,2が
補強用構造材28,29およびコーナーアングル
材30で結合されているものをさらに第6図のよ
うに2本の接合部材で接合した例である。
第9図の実施例は、第7図、第8図の実施例を
変形させたもので、中空部材2の溝5の開口が第
7図、第8図の実施例とは反対側に位置してい
る。
第10図は接合部材の別の実施例を示してい
る。
この接合部材7では、その押込み方向に逆向き
に作用する鋸歯23のような嵌合突起23を有し
ている。接合部材7の溝への嵌合はその進入開口
24が押込み方向の先行端部において嵌合突起に
よつて限定される後続側の溝25よりも拡大され
ていることによつて容易になつており、それによ
つて嵌合突部13ないし16または13′,1
4′が係止縁11,11′または12,12′ある
いは13′,14′の上を強制的に軟かく進行した
後でこれと硬く結合することができるようにな
る。この接合部材7は接合角度に合致した尖端部
26を有し、また後端部にアングル状切り込み2
7を有している。この尖端は中空部材1,2内に
おける溝端に応じて角落しされていてもよい。
第11図、第12図に示す実施例では、合成樹
脂枠体の中空部材31,32は公知のコーナーア
ングル材30により連結されている金属製枠体3
3,34の上に取付けられ金属/合成樹脂の組合
せ枠体を形成している。この場合、中空部材3
1,32は接合部材7によつて接合面に結合され
ている。
以上すべての実施例において、嵌合溝はフライ
ス加工、切込み加工、鋸引き加工等の切削加工に
よつて中空部材の中に形成される。また、すでに
組立てられた中空部材の中にカツテイングによつ
て形成することが可能である。これは互いに接合
されるべき両中空部材の全部の溝を唯一の作業工
程において形成することができ、それにより高い
加工精度が保証される。
第2,3,6,7,8,9および12図に示し
た例においては溝5,6の進入開口は中空部材の
内側見付け面に設けられていて、それにより接合
部材を内側見付け面から溝の中に押し込むことが
できるようになつているが、自明の如くこの進入
開口を反対側、即ち枠の外側見付け面に設けるこ
とも勿論可能である。この進入開口は好都合には
それぞれできるだけこれが視覚的に邪魔にならな
いところに設けるのがよい。
[発明の効果] 以上説明したように本発明の中空部材の留め接
合方法によれば、各中空部材の嵌合溝に嵌合突部
が嵌合することにより、両部材が引き寄せられる
ことになり、2つの中空部材を隙間なく極めて強
固に結合でき、外観が見苦しくないという効果が
ある。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 2つの中空部材を互いに留め接合する中空部
    材の留め接合方法であつて、 各中空部材の端部に角度切りにより、中空空間
    が開口した相対向する接合面を設け、 各中空部材の接合状態で入隈部または出隈部を
    なす一方の見付け壁を削除して前記中空空間に連
    なる挿通口を設け、 各中空部材を構成する見込み壁の少なくとも一
    方の内面に、見込み壁の肉厚を利用して一方の見
    付け壁から他方の見付け壁に向かつて上記挿通口
    に連通する嵌合溝を設け、 各中空部材の嵌合溝に嵌合する嵌合突部を有す
    る接合部材を前記中空空間に挿入するとともに各
    中空部材の嵌合溝に嵌合することを含むことを特
    徴とする中空部材の留め接合方法。
