Claims (6)
- 複数の気筒が並んだ所定方向の中央にカムチェーンが設置され、所定方向の両側の外壁を凹状に窪ませて点火プラグが設置されたシリンダヘッドのバルブ動作を変更可能な可変動弁装置であって、
前記シリンダヘッド内にて所定方向に沿って延びるロッカーシャフトと、
前記ロッカーシャフトに揺動可能に支持された複数のロッカーアームと、
所定方向の一方寄りのロッカーアームのピン穴に設置された連結ピンと、
所定方向の他方寄りのロッカーアームのピン穴に設置された戻しピンと、
前記連結ピンに前記戻しピンを他方側に向けて押し込ませる押圧部材と、
前記戻しピンに前記連結ピンを一方側に向けて押し戻させる反発部材と、を気筒毎に備え、
前記連結ピン、前記戻しピン、前記押圧部材、前記反発部材が、平面視にて所定方向に対する直交方向で前記点火プラグから外れていることを特徴とする可変動弁装置。 - 前記一方寄りのロッカーアームは高速ロッカーアームであり、前記他方寄りのロッカーアームは低速ロッカーアームであり、
前記低速ロッカーアームの作用点側は二股に分岐して一対の吸気バルブが連結され、
前記低速ロッカーアームの長手方向に延びる中心線が気筒中心を通り、当該中心線を基準にして前記低速ロッカーアームの一対の分岐部が対称に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可変動弁装置。 - 前記高速ロッカーアームが前記低速ロッカーアームよりも前記カムチェーン側に位置していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の可変動弁装置。
- 前記高速ロッカーアームの長手方向に延びる中心線上に前記吸気バルブのステムエンドが位置していることを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の可変動弁装置。
- 前記複数のロッカーアームの長手方向に延びる中心線を基準にして前記複数のロッカーアームが対称に形成されており、
前記一方寄りのロッカーアームの力点側にはローラが支持されており、当該ローラの支持箇所と前記連結ピンの支持箇所が略同幅であり、
前記他方寄りのロッカーアームの力点側にはローラが支持されており、当該ローラの支持箇所と前記戻しピンの支持箇所が略同幅であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の可変動弁装置。 - 前記複数の気筒は一対の気筒であり、
前記押圧部材は油圧で作動する一対の油圧ピストンであり、
前記一対の油圧ピストンが前記カムチェーンを挟んで対称的に設置され、
前記一対の油圧ピストンから等距離の位置に、当該一対の油圧ピストンに作動油を供給するオイルコントロールバルブが設置され、
前記カムチェーンと前記一対の油圧ピストンの間には、前記オイルコントロールバルブから前記一対の油圧ピストンに向かうオイル通路が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の可変動弁装置。
