Description
前記乾燥コーティング組成物が、

を含み、
前記離散ポリマー粒子の小さい方のポリマー粒子画分が1.5ミクロン未満の平均粒度を有し、もう一方の大きい方のポリマー粒子画分が1.5ミクロン超の重量平均粒度を有し、前記大きい方のポリマー粒子及び小さい方のポリマー粒子がそれぞれ独立してフルオロポリマー、ポリアミド、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリエーテルケトンケトン及びポリエステルより成る群から選択される、前記多孔質セパレーターに関する。
前記乾燥コーティング組成物が、
a)少なくとも2つの異なる重量平均粒度を有する離散ポリマー粒子、及び
b)随意としての電気化学的に安定な無機粒子
を含み、
前記離散ポリマー粒子の小さい方のポリマー粒子画分が1.5ミクロン未満の平均粒度を有し、もう一方の大きい方のポリマー粒子画分が1.5ミクロン超の重量平均粒度を有し、
前記大きい方のポリマー粒子及び小さい方のポリマー粒子がそれぞれ独立してフルオロポリマー、ポリアミド、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルケトンケトン、ポリエステル及びポリ(メタ)アクリレートより成る群から選択される、前記多孔質セパレーター。
Claims (11)
- 平滑でない表面を有する乾燥コーティング組成物によって直接コーティングされた、電気化学的デバイス用多孔質セパレーターであって、
前記乾燥コーティング組成物が、
a)少なくとも2つの異なる重量平均粒度を有する離散ポリマー粒子、及び
b)随意としての電気化学的に安定な無機粒子
を含み、
前記離散ポリマー粒子の小さい方のポリマー粒子画分が20nm~500nmの重量平均粒度を有し、もう一方の大きい方のポリマー粒子画分が1.5ミクロン超の重量平均粒度を有し、
前記もう一方の大きい方のポリマー粒子及び小さい方のポリマー粒子がそれぞれ独立してフルオロポリマー、ポリアミド、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルケトンケトン、ポリエステル及びポリ(メタ)アクリレートより成る群から選択され、
前記離散ポリマー粒子のTgは60℃未満であり、前記大きい粒子が前記小さい方の粒子より低いTgを有する、前記多孔質セパレーター。 - 前記大きい方のポリマー粒子画分が2.0ミクロン超の重量平均粒度を有する、請求項1に記載の多孔質セパレーター。
- 前記小さい方のポリマー粒子画分対前記大きい方のポリマー粒子画分の比が少なくとも1である、請求項1又は2に記載の多孔質セパレーター。
- 前記大きい方のポリマー粒子と小さい方のポリマー粒子とが同じ化学物質又は異なる化学物質である、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の多孔質セパレーター。
- 前記小さい方のポリマー粒子がポリフッ化ビニリデンのホモポリマー又はコポリマーを含む、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の多孔質セパレーター。
- 前記大きいポリマー粒子及び前記小さいポリマー粒子の両方がフッ化ビニリデンモノマー単位を少なくとも70重量%含むポリフッ化ビニリデンホモポリマー又はコポリマーである、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の多孔質セパレーター。
- 前記小さい粒子が官能化ポリフッ化ビニリデンを含む、請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の多孔質セパレーター。
- 前記大きい粒子が、前記乾燥コーティング組成物の表面の0.5~50面積%を占める、請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の多孔質セパレーター。
- 電気化学的に安定な無機粒子がポリマー固体及び無機粒子の合計を基準として50~99重量%存在し、前記無機粒子がBaTiO3、Pb(Zr,Ti)O3、Pb1-xLaxZryO3(0<x<1、0<y<1)、PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3、PbTiO3、ハフニウム(HfO、HfO2)、SrTiO3、SnO2、CeO2、MgO、NiO、CaO、ZnO、Y2O3、Al2O3、TiO2、SiO2、SiC、ZrO2、ケイ酸ホウ素、BaSO4、ナノクレー、セラミック又はそれらの混合物より成る群から選択される、請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の多孔質セパレーター。
- 前記乾燥コーティング組成物が0.5~15ミクロンの厚さを有する、請求項1~9のいずれかに記載の多孔質セパレーター。
- 請求項1~10のいずれかに記載の多孔質セパレーターを含むバッテリー、コンデンサ、電気二重層コンデンサ、膜電極組立体(MEA)又は燃料電池。
