Description
複列の外側軌道面を有する外方部材と、
ハブ輪及び内輪からなり、複列の内側軌道面を有する内方部材と、
前記外方部材と前記内方部材のそれぞれの軌道面間に介装される複列の転動部材と、
前記外方部材と前記内方部材によって形成された環状空間のアウター側開口端を塞ぐアウター側シール部材と、を備えた車輪用軸受装置において、
前記ハブ輪における車輪取付フランジのインナー側基端部分に当該ハブ輪の回転軸を中心とする円環状の凹部が設けられており、
前記外方部材のアウター側端部が前記凹部に挿入され、かつ前記アウター側シール部材の少なくとも一部が前記凹部に収まっている、ものである。
前記凹部の内周面と前記外方部材のアウター側端部における外周面が互いに近接してラビリンス部を構成している、ものである。
前記ラビリンス部がインナー側に向かうにつれて径方向外側へ傾斜している、ものである。

Claims (3)
- 複列の外側軌道面を有する外方部材と、
ハブ輪及び内輪からなり、複列の内側軌道面を有する内方部材と、
前記外方部材と前記内方部材のそれぞれの軌道面間に介装される複列の転動部材と、
前記外方部材と前記内方部材によって形成された環状空間のアウター側開口端を塞ぐアウター側シール部材と、を備えた車輪用軸受装置において、
前記ハブ輪における車輪取付フランジのインナー側基端部分に当該ハブ輪の回転軸を中心とする円環状の凹部が設けられており、
前記凹部は、前記車輪取付フランジのインナー側端面からアウター側へ向けて窪んだ部位であり、
前記外方部材のアウター側端部が前記凹部に挿入され、かつ前記アウター側シール部材の少なくとも一部が前記凹部に収まっており、
前記車輪取付フランジのアウター側基端部分には、当該車輪取付フランジのアウター側端面からアウター側へ向けて突出する補強部が設けられており、
前記車輪取付フランジの径方向外側部には、前記ハブ輪の回転軸を中心に複数のボルト穴が設けられており、
前記外方部材のアウター側端部は、前記ボルト穴のインナー側端部の位置よりアウター側に位置している、
ことを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記凹部の内周面と前記外方部材のアウター側端部における外周面が互いに近接してラビリンス部を構成している、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記ラビリンス部がインナー側に向かうにつれて径方向外側へ傾斜している、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
