また、請求項2に記載の発明は、内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、この内方部材と前記外方部材の両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、を備え、前記外方部材および内方部材のうち回転側となる部材にブレーキディスクを介して車輪を取り付けるための車輪取付フランジが一体に形成され、この車輪取付フランジの周方向等配位置に前記車輪を締結するためのハブボルトが植設された車輪用軸受装置において、前記車輪取付フランジのアウター側の側面に前記ハブボルトを包含する環状溝が形成されると共に、前記車輪取付フランジの各ハブボルト間に軽量化のための軽量穴が穿設され、これら軽量穴の外接円径が前記環状溝の外径よりも大径に設定されるか、または、前記軽量穴が前記車輪取付フランジの外周面に開口し、当該軽量穴の一部を切り欠いて放射状に延びるドレーン溝が形成されている。
また、当該軽量穴の一部を切り欠いて放射状に延びるドレーン溝が形成されていれば、軽量穴が環状溝の範囲内に形成されても、軽量穴に浸入してきた泥水等が車輪取付フランジのアウター側の側面とブレーキディスクの側面との間に滞留せず、軽量穴からドレーン溝を通して容易に排出される。
また、当該軽量穴の一部を切り欠いて放射状に延びるドレーン溝が形成されていれば、軽量穴が環状溝の範囲内に形成されても、軽量穴に浸入してきた泥水等が車輪取付フランジのアウター側の側面とブレーキディスクの側面との間に滞留せず、軽量穴からドレーン溝を通して容易に排出される。

Claims (6)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
この内方部材と前記外方部材の両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、を備え、
前記外方部材および内方部材のうち回転側となる部材にブレーキディスクを介して車輪を取り付けるための車輪取付フランジが一体に形成され、
この車輪取付フランジの周方向等配位置に前記車輪を締結するためのハブボルトが植設された車輪用軸受装置において、
前記車輪取付フランジのアウター側の側面に前記ハブボルトを包含する環状溝が形成されると共に、前記車輪取付フランジの各ハブボルト間に軽量化のための軽量穴が穿設され、これら軽量穴の外接円径が前記環状溝の外径よりも大径に設定されるか、または、前記軽量穴が前記車輪取付フランジの外周面に開口し、当該軽量穴がインナー側に向って漸次拡径するテーパ面に形成されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
この内方部材と前記外方部材の両転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、を備え、
前記外方部材および内方部材のうち回転側となる部材にブレーキディスクを介して車輪を取り付けるための車輪取付フランジが一体に形成され、
この車輪取付フランジの周方向等配位置に前記車輪を締結するためのハブボルトが植設された車輪用軸受装置において、
前記車輪取付フランジのアウター側の側面に前記ハブボルトを包含する環状溝が形成されると共に、前記車輪取付フランジの各ハブボルト間に軽量化のための軽量穴が穿設され、これら軽量穴の外接円径が前記環状溝の外径よりも大径に設定されるか、または、前記軽量穴が前記車輪取付フランジの外周面に開口し、当該軽量穴の一部を切り欠いて放射状に延びるドレーン溝が形成されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記車輪取付フランジの側面が前記ハブボルト圧入後に切削加工した切削面とされている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記車輪取付フランジのインナー側の側面の前記ハブボルトが固定される領域に補強リブが肉盛り状に放射状に形成されている請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記車輪取付フランジの外周の前記ハブボルトが圧入されるボルト穴の近傍を避けて各ボルト穴間に切欠き部が形成され、この切欠き部が、その最深部と前記ボルト穴のピッチ円直径とが近接するように円弧状に形成されている請求項1または2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記切欠き部の最深部の外径が前記環状溝の外径よりも小径に形成されている請求項5に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
