Description
工業的プロセスのプロセス流及び排気ガス流からの不純物の除去は、環境中に放出される汚染物質及び毒素を減少するため、価値のある副産物を回収するため、下流操作の効率を維持するため、並びに作業の安全性を確実にするために極めて重要である。かかる工業的プロセスは、石油、石油化学、重合、合成ガス(「Syngas」)及び半導体のプロセスを含む。
種々の実施態様にしたがって、本開示は、担体上にビスマス材料と(ここで担体は、金属酸化物、半金属酸化物又は活性炭の少なくとも1種を含む)、ヒ素材料とを含む吸着剤組成物に関する。ビスマス材料は、単体ビスマス及びビスマス化合物を含む任意のビスマス含有材料であってよい。例えば、ビスマス材料は、酸化ビスマス、例えば酸化ビスマス(III)(Bi2O3)であってよい。ある実施態様において、酸化ビスマスは、前駆体、例えば有機ビスマス化合物、無機ビスマス化合物、有機ビスマス塩、無機ビスマス塩及びそれらの組み合わせに由来しうる。例えば、酸化ビスマスは、少なくとも部分的に、クエン酸ビスマス前駆体、硝酸ビスマス前駆体又はそれらの組合せに由来しうる。吸着剤組成物は、約0.1質量%~約2質量%、又は約2質量%~約50質量%、又は約5質量%~約15質量%、又は約8質量%~約11質量%のビスマス材料を含みうる。
実施態様は、吸着剤並びに吸着剤の製造方法及び使用方法に関連して本明細書において記載される。当業者は、以下の説明は例示的なものに過ぎず、決して限定することを意図するものではないと認識するであろう。他の態様は、本開示の利益を有する当業者に容易に示唆されるであろう。参照は、添付の図面において説明されるような実施態様の実施に詳細にされている。同一の参照の指標は、図面及び同一又は同様の項目を参照するための次の記載の全体にわたって可能な範囲まで使用されるであろう。
実施例1A - クエン酸ビスマス由来の酸化チタン上酸化ビスマス(Bi/TiO2)吸着剤の合成
Bi/TiO2吸着剤を、初期湿式含浸法(incipient wetness impregnation method)を使用して生成した。より詳述すれば、4.95グラムのクエン酸ビスマスを、30グラムの水酸化アンモニウム(29%NH4OH)中で溶解し、そして得られた溶液を、クエン酸ビスマスの完全な溶解が観測されるまで約30分間混合した。この溶液の一部を、乾燥酸化チタン(アナターゼ)粉末上で含浸させて、キャリヤーの97%の孔容積充填を得た。得られた粉末を、110℃で一晩乾燥させ、そして400℃で2時間か焼して、誘導結合プラズマ分光法(「ICP」)により測定して約9.4質量%のBi量を得た。熱重量分析(「TGA」)測定は、か焼した粉末におけるクエン酸ビスマスの完全な分解を確認した一方で、X線光電子分光法(「XPS」)は、材料におけるBiの主な化合物としてBi2O3を示唆する+3酸化状態でのBiの存在を示した。
Bi/TiO2吸着剤を、初期湿式含浸法を使用して生成した。硝酸ビスマスのストック溶液(22.3質量%のBi)をBi源として使用した。この溶液の一部を、乾燥酸化チタン(アナターゼ)粉末上で含浸させて、キャリヤーの97%の孔充填を得た。得られた粉末を、110℃で一晩乾燥させ、そして400℃で2時間か焼して、ICPにより測定して約9.7質量%のBi量を得た。か焼した材料における硝酸ビスマス前駆体の完全な分解をTGAで確認した。XPS測定は、得られた材料におけるBiの主な形としてBi+3も確認した。
実験条件:
約1立方センチメートルの二酸化チタン上酸化ビスマスを含む吸着剤(前記で製造したもの)を反応器中に装入した。プロパン中で約100ppmwのアルシンを含む液体を、10h-1の液空間速度(「LHSV」)で1時間、反応器を介して吸着剤上を通過させた。液体は室温であり、液相は約220psigであった。アルシンを液体から吸着剤上に吸着させた。実験を、同様の条件で、反応器中に装入した約1立方センチメートルの酸化アルミニウム上酸化鉛(約20質量%のPbO)を含む吸着剤を用いて繰り返した。結果を図1において示す。
実験条件:
約1立方センチメートルの酸化チタン上クエン酸塩前駆体由来酸化ビスマスを含む吸着剤を反応器中に装入した。プロパン中で約100ppmwのアルシンを含む液体を、10h-1の液空間速度(「LHSV」)で1時間、反応器を介して吸着剤上を通過させた。液体は室温(25℃)であり、液相は約220psigであった。アルシンを液体から吸着剤上に吸着させた。実験を、同様の条件で、約1立方センチメートルの酸化チタン上硝酸塩前駆体由来ビスマスを含む吸着剤で、及びさらに約1立方センチメートルの酸化アルミニウム上鉛を含む吸着剤で繰り返した。結果を図2において示す。
実験条件:
約1立方センチメートルの酸化チタン吸収体を反応器中に装入した。プロパン中で約100ppmwのアルシンを含む液体を、10h-1の液空間速度(「LHSV」)で1時間、反応器を介して吸着剤上を通過させた。液体は室温(25℃)であり、液相は約220psigであった。アルシンを液体から吸着剤上に吸着させた。実験を、同様の条件で、反応器中に装入した約1立方センチメートルの二酸化チタン上酸化ビスマスを含む吸着剤を用いて繰り返した。結果を図3において示す。
実験条件:
約1立方センチメートルの二酸化チタン上酸化ビスマス約2質量%を含む吸着剤(Bi/TiO2(2質量%))を反応器中に装入した。プロパン中で約100ppmwのアルシンを含む液体を、10h-1の液空間速度(「LHSV」)で1時間、反応器を介して吸着剤上を通過させた。液体は室温(25℃)であり、液相は約220psigであった。アルシンを液体から吸着剤上に吸着させた。実験を、同様の条件で、反応器中に装入した約1立方センチメートルの、二酸化チタン上酸化ビスマス約9.4質量%を含む吸着剤(Bi/TiO2(9.4質量%))、二酸化チタン上酸化ビスマス約20質量%を含む吸着剤(Bi/TiO2(20質量%))、及び酸化アルミニウム上酸化鉛(Pb/Al2O3)(約20質量%のPbO)を含む吸着剤を用いて繰り返した。結果を図4において示す。
Claims (22)
- 金属酸化物、半金属酸化物又は活性炭の少なくとも1種を含む担体上に酸化ビスマスを含む、ヒ素材料を吸着する吸着剤組成物であって、吸着剤組成物が5~15質量%の酸化ビスマスを含み、担体が15質量%以下の含水率である、前記吸着剤組成物。
- 酸化ビスマスが、酸化ビスマス(III)(Bi2O3)である、請求項1に記載の吸着剤組成物。
- 担体が、高表面積金属酸化物である金属酸化物を含む、請求項1に記載の吸着剤組成物。
