Description
本出願の特許請求の範囲は、2019年12月30日に出願された「エチレンビニルアルコールペレット及びそのフィルム」と題する米国特許出願第16/729,984号の優先権を主張するものであり、且つ本出願は当該出願の一部継続出願であり、その全内容は参照によりここに組み込まれる。
本発明は、エチレンビニルアルコール共重合体(ethylene-vinyl alcohol,EVOH)樹脂組成物及びそのペレットに関するものである。エチレンビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂組成物は粒子を有しており、特に含フッ素粒子を有している。EVOH樹脂組成物は、10~450ppmのホウ素含有量を有し得る。本発明はさらに、エチレンビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂組成物及び/又はペレットにより形成された、フィルム及び多層構造体を開示する。
オートクレーブを回分反応器として使用し、実施例フッ素ポリマーAを調製した。オートクレーブの内容積は約20Lであり、電磁誘導撹拌装置が設置されている。オートクレーブに窒素ガス(N2)を十分に充填し、その後に減圧した窒素ガスを5回充填した。
同様のオートクレーブを使用して実施例フッ素ポリマーBを調製し、且つ実施例フッ素ポリマーAと同じ方法に従って設置を行った。オートクレーブは同様に減圧した窒素ガスの充填を5回繰り返した。
実施例フッ素ポリマーAの調製に用いたのと同様のオートクレーブ及び誘導撹拌装置を使用して、実施例フッ素ポリマーCを調製した。オートクレーブに窒素ガスを十分に充填し、且つ3Lの組成物を加えた。当該組成物には脱酸素純水及び乳化剤として30gのノナデカフルオロデカン酸アンモニウムが含有されている。オートクレーブ内の組成物を60℃まで加熱して、380rpmで攪拌した。
容積が約3Lのオートクレーブを回分反応器として使用し、実施例フッ素ポリマーDを調製した。オートクレーブは電磁誘導撹拌装置を備えている。936gの脱イオン水、0.36gのメチルセルロース、360gのVDF、0.3gのt-ブチルパーオキシピバレート(tert-butyl peroxypivalate)、0.36gのピロリン酸ナトリウム、0.36gの酸性ピロリン酸ナトリウム及び1.8gの炭酸ジエチルのバッチをオートクレーブにセットして加え、10℃で30分間撹拌した後、45℃で140分間加熱した。

Claims (9)
- エチレンビニルアルコール共重合体と、
1種類以上の含フッ素粒子と、
ホウ素化合物と、を含み、10~450ppmのホウ素含有量を有し、
ペレットの形態であり且つ第1融点温度及び第2融点温度の2つの融点温度を少なくとも含み、
前記第1融点温度は100℃~140℃であり、前記第2融点温度は150℃~195℃である、エチレンビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂組成物。 - 前記1種類以上の含フッ素粒子はフッ化ポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載のエチレンビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 走査電子顕微鏡及びエネルギー分散分光法を用いて前記組成物中に分散した前記含フッ素粒子を対象とした場合、フッ素含有量は1.5~47wt%であり、前記フッ素含有量は炭素のkα0.2774keV、酸素のkα0.5249keV及びフッ素のkα0.6768keVの元素信号ピーク値を用いて炭素、酸素及びフッ素元素の総重量に基づく重量パーセント濃度(wt%)として計算されている、請求項1又は2に記載のエチレンビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 各前記含フッ素粒子の粒径は直径又は主軸長さが0.3~18μmである、請求項1に記載のエチレンビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 前記ホウ素含有量は20~350ppmである、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載のエチレンビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のエチレンビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂組成物を含み、ISO 179-1に基づくシャルピー衝撃強度(Charpy impact strength)は、23℃下で少なくとも2.5KJ/m2であり、ISO 527-2に基づく破断点伸びは、23℃下で少なくとも18%である、フィルム。
- 前記破断点伸びは少なくとも20%である、請求項6に記載のフィルム。
- (a)請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載のエチレンビニルアルコール共重合体樹脂組成物により形成された少なくとも1つの層と、
(b)少なくとも1つのポリマー層と、
(c)少なくとも1つの粘着剤層と、を含む、多層構造体。 - 前記ポリマー層は、低密度ポリエチレン層、ポリエチレングラフト無水マレイン酸層、ポリプロピレン層、ナイロン層及びそれらの組み合わせで組成されたグループから選択されている、請求項8に記載の多層構造体。
