まず、積層セラミックコンデンサについて説明する。図1は、第1実施形態における積層セラミックコンデンサの部分断面斜視図である。図2は、図1のA-A断面図である。図3は、図1のB-B断面図である。図1から図3に示すように、積層セラミックコンデンサ100は、直方体形状を有する積層体10と、積層体10のいずれかの対向する両端面に設けられた外部電極20,30とを備える。積層体10は、誘電体として機能するセラミック材料を含む複数の誘電体層11と、複数の内部電極12とが、交互に積層された構成を有する。誘電体層11および内部電極12の積層方向をZ方向、外部電極20と外部電極30が対向する方向をY方向、Y方向とZ方向に直交する方向をX方向とする。

Claims (5)
- セラミックを主成分とする誘電体層と、内部電極と、が交互に積層され、積層された複数の前記内部電極が交互に対向する2端面に露出するように形成され、略直方体形状を有する積層体と、
前記2端面に形成された1対の外部電極と、を備え、
前記1対の外部電極が対向する第1方向において、前記複数の内部電極における前記外部電極と接続していない端のうち最も外側に位置する第1端と、当該外部電極と接続していない端のうち最も内側に位置する第2端と、の距離をL1(mm)、前記複数の誘電体層の各々の層厚をt1(μm)、前記複数の誘電体層の積層数をNとしたとき、t12×L1/Nは10以上であり、
前記複数の内部電極と複数の誘電体層の面方向において前記第1方向に交差する第2方向において、前記積層体の同じ端面に対して、前記複数の内部電極の端のうち最も外側に位置する第1端と、前記複数の内部電極の端のうち最も内側に位置する第2端と、の距離をW1(mm)としたとき、t12×W1/Nは10以上であり、
前記複数の内部電極における前記外部電極と接続していない端の角部の曲率半径をR(mm)としたとき、R>W1かつR>L1であり、
前記複数の内部電極の前記第1方向における端の位置は、前記積層体の積層方向において周期的に配置され、
前記複数の内部電極の前記第2方向における端の位置は、前記積層体の積層方向において周期的に配置されていることを特徴とする積層セラミックコンデンサ。 - 前記積層体において、積層方向のいずれかの箇所に、前記誘電体層の3倍以上の厚みを有する厚膜誘電体層を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層セラミックコンデンサ。
- 前記誘電体層はチタン酸バリウムを主成分とすることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の積層セラミックコンデンサ。
- 前記1対の外部電極の一方が接続された内部電極のうち前記端の位置が同じである隣接する一定数の内部電極と、前記1対の外部電極の他方が接続された内部電極のうち前記端の位置が同じである隣接する一定数の内部電極と、を1グループとして、グループごとに前記端の位置が異なる請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の積層セラミックコンデンサ。
- 前記端の位置が同じ隣接する複数の一定数の内部電極を1グループとして、グループごとに前記端の位置が異なる請求項4に記載の積層セラミックコンデンサ。
