Claims (12)
- エンジンおよびモータを有する動力源と、前記動力源から出力される動力で駆動されて駆動力を発生する駆動輪と、前記エンジンと前記駆動輪との間で選択的に動力の伝達および遮断を行うクラッチと、前記モータに対して電力の授受が可能なバッテリと、前記エンジン、前記モータ、および、前記クラッチをそれぞれ制御するコントローラとを備え、前記エンジンを停止し、前記モータが出力するモータトルクで前記駆動力を発生させるEV走行モードと、前記クラッチを係合した状態で前記エンジンを運転し、前記エンジンが出力するエンジントルクおよび前記モータトルクで前記駆動力を発生させるパラレルHV走行モードとのいずれかを選択して走行するハイブリッド車両において、
前記コントローラは、
前記ハイブリッド車両が前記EV走行モードで加速走行する際に、前記駆動力が、前記EV走行モードで発生可能な最大の駆動力であって、前記モータの特性および前記バッテリの性能に基づいて予め定めた閾値である最大EV駆動力よりも大きく、かつ、前記ハイブリッド車両が所定の走行路を所定の車速および所定の前記駆動力で走行する際の走行抵抗よりも大きい駆動力であって、前記車速が高いほど大きくなる変数として予め定めた閾値である必要余裕駆動力よりも大きくなることにより、前記パラレルHV走行モードで前記ハイブリッド車両を走行させる
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両において、
前記モータは、前記エンジンの出力側に配置されて少なくとも前記エンジントルクを受けて駆動されることにより発電する機能を有する第1モータと、前記駆動輪に対して動力伝達可能に連結された第2モータとを有し、
前記EV走行モードと、前記パラレルHV走行モードと、前記クラッチを解放した状態で前記エンジンを運転し、前記エンジントルクで前記第1モータを駆動して発電させるとともに、前記第2モータが出力する前記モータトルクで前記駆動力を発生させるシリーズHV走行モードとのいずれかを選択して走行する

ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項4に記載のハイブリッド車両において、
前記走行モード切り替えマップ上で、前記最大シリーズHV駆動力と前記必要余裕駆動力とが等しくなる上限車速が設定されており、
前記コントローラは、
前記車速が、前記走行モード切り替えマップ上で前記上限車速よりも高いことにより、前記パラレルHV走行モードで前記ハイブリッド車両を走行させる
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両において、
運転者によるアクセル装置のアクセル操作量およびアクセル操作速度、ならびに、実際に発生している実駆動力をそれぞれ検出または算出する検出部を備え、
前記コントローラは、
前記車速および前記アクセル操作量に基づく要求駆動力を求め、
前記アクセル操作量および前記アクセル操作速度に基づいて、前記運転者が前記駆動力の高応答性を要求しているか否かを判断し、
前記運転者が前記高応答性を要求していると判断した場合には、
前記実駆動力が、前記要求駆動力に到達することにより、前記パラレルHV走行モードで前記ハイブリッド車両を走行させる
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項2から5のいずれか一項に記載のハイブリッド車両において、
運転者によるアクセル装置のアクセル操作量およびアクセル操作速度、ならびに、実際に発生している実駆動力をそれぞれ検出または算出する検出部を備え、
前記コントローラは、
前記車速および前記アクセル操作量に基づく要求駆動力を求め、
前記アクセル操作量および前記アクセル操作速度に基づいて、前記運転者が前記駆動力の高応答性を要求しているか否かを判断し、
前記運転者が前記高応答性を要求していると判断した場合には、
前記実駆動力が、前記要求駆動力に到達することにより、前記パラレルHV走行モードで前記ハイブリッド車両を走行させる
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項7に記載のハイブリッド車両において、
前記コントローラは、
前記運転者が前記高応答性を要求していると判断し、かつ、前記要求駆動力が前記シリーズHV走行モードで発生可能な最大シリーズHV駆動力以上である場合には、
前記実駆動力が、前記最大シリーズHV駆動力よりも大きくなることにより、前記パラレルHV走行モードで前記ハイブリッド車両を走行させる
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項7に記載のハイブリッド車両において、
前記コントローラは、
前記運転者が前記高応答性を要求していると判断し、かつ、前記要求駆動力が前記シリーズHV走行モードで発生可能な最大シリーズHV駆動力よりも小さい場合には、
前記実駆動力が、前記要求駆動力に到達することにより、前記パラレルHV走行モードで前記ハイブリッド車両を走行させる
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のハイブリッド車両において、
運転者によるアクセル装置のアクセル操作量およびアクセル操作速度、ならびに、実際に発生している実駆動力をそれぞれ検出または算出する検出部を備え、
前記コントローラは、
前記アクセル操作量および前記アクセル操作速度に基づいて、前記運転者が前記駆動力の高応答性を要求しているか否かを判断し、
前記運転者が前記高応答性を要求していないと判断した場合には、
前記実駆動力が、前記必要余裕駆動力よりも大きくなることにより、前記パラレルHV走行モードで前記ハイブリッド車両を走行させる
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項3,4,5,8,9のいずれか一項に記載のハイブリッド車両において、
運転者によるアクセル装置のアクセル操作量およびアクセル操作速度、ならびに、実際に発生している実駆動力をそれぞれ検出または算出する検出部を備え、
前記コントローラは、
少なくとも、現時点から所定時間前までの所定期間における前記実駆動力の履歴、および、前記所定期間における前記アクセル操作速度の履歴を読み込み、
少なくとも、前記実駆動力の履歴、および、前記アクセル操作速度の履歴に基づいて、前記加速走行時に必要となる推定必要駆動力を求め、
前記推定必要駆動力が、前記最大シリーズHV駆動力よりも大きい場合には、前記パラレルHV走行モードで前記ハイブリッド車両を走行させる
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 請求項11に記載のハイブリッド車両において、
前記検出部は、走行路面状態を検出または推定する機器を含み、
前記コントローラは、
少なくとも、前記実駆動力の履歴、前記アクセル操作速度の履歴、および、前記走行路面状態に基づいて、前記推定必要駆動力を求める
ことを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。
