Description
図3は、電気化学デバイスの一例の断面模式図であり、図4は、同電気化学デバイスの一部を展開した概略図である。電極群10は、図4に示すような捲回体であり、正極21と、負極22と、これらの間に介在するセパレータ23とを備える。捲回体の最外周は、巻止めテープ24により固定される。正極21には、リード部材3(リード線14Aおよびリードタブ15A)が接続され、負極22には、リード部材4(リード線14Bおよびリードタブ15B)が接続されている。電気化学デバイスは、電極群10と、電極群10を収容する有底ケース11と、有底ケース11の開口を塞ぐ封口体12と、封口体12から導出されるリード部材3、4と、非水電解液(図示せず)とを備える。封口体12は、例えば、ゴム成分を含む弾性材料で形成されている。有底ケース11の開口端近傍は、内側に絞り加工され、開口端は封口体12をかしめるようにカール加工される。
(負極)
負極は、例えば負極集電体と負極材料層とを有する。
負極集電体には、例えば導電性のシート材料が用いられる。シート材料としては、金属箔、金属多孔体、パンチングメタル、エッチングメタルなどが用いられる。負極集電体の材質としては、銅、銅合金、ニッケル、ステンレス鋼などを用いることができる。
非水電解液は、リチウム塩と、リチウム塩を溶解させる非水溶媒とを含む。リチウム塩に由来するアニオンは、電気化学デバイスの充放電に伴って正極へのドープと脱ドープとを可逆的に繰り返す。一方、リチウム塩に由来するリチウムイオンは、電気化学デバイスの充放電に伴って負極に吸蔵または負極から放出される。
セパレータとしては、セルロース繊維製の不織布、ガラス繊維製の不織布、ポリオレフィン製の微多孔膜、織布、不織布などが好ましく用いられる。セパレータの厚みは、例えば10〜300μmであり、10〜40μmが好ましい。

Claims (6)
- 正極と、前記正極に取り付けられたリード部材と、を具備し、
前記正極は、
正極集電体と、
前記正極集電体の表面に形成された導電性炭素材料を含むカーボン層と、
前記カーボン層を介して前記正極集電体に担持された導電性高分子を含む活性層と、を具備し、
前記カーボン層は、前記導電性炭素材料と前記導電性高分子とが混在する複合領域を含み、
前記リード部材は、前記複合領域に接触している、リード部材付き電気化学デバイス用正極。 - 前記複合領域は、前記正極集電体に接触している、請求項1に記載のリード部材付き電気化学デバイス用正極。
- 前記リード部材と前記正極集電体との間に介在する前記カーボン層の厚さは、5μm以下である、請求項1または2に記載のリード部材付き電気化学デバイス用正極。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のリード部材付き電気化学デバイス用正極と、負極と、非水電解液と、を備える、電気化学デバイス。
- 正極集電体の表面に導電性炭素材料を含むカーボン層を形成することにより、第1中間体を形成する工程と、
前記カーボン層を介して前記正極集電体に導電性高分子を含む活性層を担持させることにより、第2中間体を形成する工程と、
前記第2中間体から前記活性層の一部を除去して、前記カーボン層の一部を露出させる工程と、
前記露出したカーボン層の一部に接触するようにリード部材を取り付ける工程と、を備え、
前記第2中間体を形成する工程が、原料モノマーを含む反応液に前記第1中間体を浸漬した状態で、前記原料モノマーを電解重合することにより、前記導電性高分子を含む前記活性層を形成するとともに、前記カーボン層内に、前記導電性炭素材料と前記導電性高分子とが混在する複合領域を形成する工程を含む、リード部材付き電気化学デバイス用正極の製造方法。 - 前記第2中間体を形成する工程が、前記正極集電体に接触するように前記複合領域を形成する工程を含む、請求項5に記載のリード部材付き電気化学デバイス用正極の製造方法。
