Claims (7)
- エンジン(E)と、該エンジン(E)に導入する外気(W)を濾過するエアクリーナボックス(33)と、該エアクリーナボックス(33)に接続されて車体前方から外気を導入する吸気ダクト(50)とを有する鞍乗型車両(1)に適用される鞍乗型車両の吸気ダクト構造において、
前記吸気ダクト(50)の車体前方側の端部に吸気口(60)が設けられており、
前記吸気ダクト(50)の内部で、前記吸気口(60)の車体後方の位置に、前記吸気口(60)と対向する壁部材(54a)が配設されており、
前記吸気ダクト(50)が、前記壁部材(54a)を収納するハウジング(52)と、該ハウジング(52)の後部に連結される連結パイプ(56)とを含んで構成されており、
前記吸気口(60)から導入された外気(W)が、前記ハウジング(52)の内部で複数回折り返されてから前記連結パイプ(56)に導入され、
前記ハウジング(52)に、箱体の車体後方面を開放した形状の箱状部材(54)が収納されており、
前記壁部材(54a)が、前記箱状部材(54)の車体前方面を構成しており、
前記吸気口(60)から導入された外気(W)が、前記箱状部材(54)の上方および車幅方向外側を通ってから前記連結パイプ(56)に導入されることを特徴とする鞍乗型車両の吸気ダクト構造。 - 前記鞍乗型車両(1)は、前輪(WF)を支持するフロントフォーク(11)を備え、
前記吸気口(60)が、前記フロントフォーク(11)の車幅方向外側かつ車体後方の位置に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の鞍乗型車両の吸気ダクト構造。 - 前記ハウジング(52)に、前記箱状部材(54)の車体後方に近接配置されることで前記ハウジング(52)の内部空間を車体上側の第1室(A)と車体下側の第2室(B)とに仕切る仕切板(52b)が設けられており、
前記箱状部材(54)の上方を通って車体後方に流れる外気(W)が、前記第1室(A)で車体前方に折り返された後、前記仕切板(52b)の車体前方かつ前記箱状部材(54)の内側で車体後方に折り返されて、前記連結パイプ(56)に導入されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の鞍乗型車両の吸気ダクト構造。 - 前記連結パイプ(56)が、前記第2室(B)の後部に挿入固定されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の鞍乗型車両の吸気ダクト構造。
- 前記連結パイプ(56)の車体前方端部が、前記箱状部材(54)の内壁(74)に固定されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の鞍乗型車両の吸気ダクト構造。
- 前記ハウジング(52)が、車体後方に向かって車幅方向寸法が徐々に増加するテーパ形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1,2,5ないし7のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の吸気ダクト構造。
- 前記壁部材(54a)が、その車体下方側より車体上方側の方が車体後方に位置するように傾斜して配設されていることを特徴とする請求項1,2,5ないし8のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両の吸気ダクト構造。
