Description
本実施形態に係る樹脂組成物は、樹脂成分と、難燃剤と、を含有する。樹脂成分の含有量を100質量部としたときの難燃剤の含有量は50質量部未満であることが好ましい。難燃剤の含有量を50質量部未満とすることにより、樹脂組成物の柔軟性を向上させることができる。なお、上記樹脂成分の含有量を100質量部としたときの難燃剤の含有量は45質量部以下であることが好ましい。また、難燃性の観点から、上記樹脂成分の含有量を100質量部としたときの難燃剤の含有量は20質量部以上であることが好ましく、25質量部以上であることがより好ましく、30質量部以上であることがさらに好ましい。
樹脂成分は、エチレン−(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体と、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエン三元共重合体(EPDM)及びエチレン−アクリレートゴム(AEM)の少なくともいずれか一方とを含んでいる。なお、本明細書において、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルは、アクリル酸エステル及びメタクリル酸エステルの少なくともいずれか一方であることを意味する。
難燃剤の種類は、樹脂組成物に難燃性を付与することができれば特に限定されない。難燃剤には、例えば、有機系難燃剤及び無機系難燃剤の少なくともいずれか一方が含まれていてもよい。有機系難燃剤には、例えば、ハロゲン系難燃剤、リン系難燃剤及び窒素系難燃剤からなる群より選択される少なくとも1以上の難燃剤が含まれていてもよい。無機系難燃剤には、例えば、金属水酸化物及びアンチモン系難燃剤の少なくともいずれか一方が含まれていてもよい。金属水酸化物には、例えば、水酸化マグネシウム及び水酸化アルミニウムの少なくともいずれか一方が含まれていてもよい。アンチモン系難燃剤には、例えば、三酸化アンチモンが含まれていてもよい。
図1は、本実施形態に係る被覆電線1の一例を示す断面図である。図1に示すように、本実施形態の被覆電線1は、導体2と、導体2を被覆し、上記実施形態に係る樹脂組成物により構成された被覆層3と、を備える。上記実施形態に係る樹脂組成物は柔軟性及び耐熱性に優れている。そのため、このような樹脂組成物により構成された被覆層3を備える被覆電線1は、例えば自動車用の被覆電線1として好ましく用いることができる。
本実施形態に係るワイヤーハーネスは被覆電線1を備える。上記実施形態に係る樹脂組成物は柔軟性及び耐熱性に優れている。そのため、このような樹脂組成物により構成された被覆層3を備える被覆電線1は、例えば自動車用のワイヤーハーネスとして好ましく用いることができる。

上述した架橋処理後の樹脂組成物について、JIS K7161に準拠して19%ひずみ引張応力を測定することにより柔軟性を評価した。試験サンプルは、樹脂組成物を1mm厚の樹脂シートに成形した後、JIS K6251:2010(加硫ゴム及び熱可塑性ゴム−引張特性の求め方)に規定されたダンベル状3号形を打ち抜いて作製した。引張応力は、室温(23℃)において200mm/分の試験速度で測定した。19%ひずみ引張応力が2.0MPa以下となった場合を「○」、2.0MPa超となった場合を「×」として評価した。
上述した架橋処理後の樹脂組成物について、JASO D624の規定に準じて耐熱性を評価した。具体的には、所定の時間加熱した試験サンプルの伸び率を、アレニウスの式に導入し、10000時間加熱した場合において試験サンプルの伸び率が100%となる温度を推定した。試験サンプルは、樹脂組成物を1mm厚の樹脂シートに成形した後、JIS K6251:2010に規定されたダンベル状3号形を打ち抜いて作製した。測定に用いた試験サンプルは、JIS K7212:1999(プラスチック−熱可塑性プラスチックの熱安定性試験方法−オーブン法)に準拠し、160℃〜190℃の加熱条件にて最大5,000時間加熱した。そして、その後、オーブンから取り出し、室温(約23℃)で12時間放置した。伸び率は、室温(23℃)において200mm/分の試験速度で測定した。試験サンプルの伸び率が100%となる温度が150℃以上となった場合を「○」、150℃未満となった場合を「×」として評価した。

- (メタ)アクリル酸エステルの含有量が25質量%以上のエチレン−(メタ)アクリル酸エステル共重合体と、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエン三元共重合体及びエチレン−アクリレートゴムの少なくともいずれか一方とを含む樹脂成分と、
