Description
図1は、本実施の形態に係るハイブリッド車両のハイブリッドシステムの構成を示す図である。図1に示すように、ハイブリッド車両2は、車輪16を回転駆動するための1つの動力装置として、エンジン4を備える。エンジン4は、ガソリン又は軽油などの炭化水素系の燃料の燃焼により動力を出力する内燃機関であって、吸気装置、排気装置、燃料噴射装置、点火装置、冷却装置、EGR装置などを備える。図1には、吸気装置とEGR装置のそれぞれの構成が描かれている。
第2の例.EGR弁50の開度を調整することで、エンジン4に再循環されるEGRガスの流量を変化させる。
第3の例.インタークーラ34を通過する空気(新気)の比率を通過比率調整弁38によって変えることで、エンジン4に供給される空気の温度を変化させる。
第4の例.スロットル弁40の開度を調整することで、エンジン4に供給される空気の流量を変化させる。
第5の例.EGRクーラ44の冷却水の温度を変えることで、エンジン4に再循環されるEGRガスの温度を変化させる。具体的な方法としては、ラジエータへの冷却水の供給のオン/オフ又はラジエータの通過水量の調整、ラジエータファンのオン/オフ又は回転数の調整、ヒータのオン/オフ又は加熱能力の調整などの方法が挙げられる。
第6の例.インタークーラ34の冷却水の温度を変えることで、エンジン4に供給される空気の温度を変化させる。具体的な方法は、第5の例と同様である。
第7の例.ターボチャージャ32にコンプレッサを駆動するモータが備えられている場合には、その回転数を調整することで、エンジン4に供給される空気の流量を変化させる。
第8の例.吸気通路30におけるスロットル弁40の下流、又は、EGR通路42におけるEGR弁50の下流にヒータを設置し、ヒータのオン/オフ又はその加熱能力の調整によって、吸気温度を変化させる。
図2は、制御装置70の機能の一部を示すブロック図である。図2には、制御装置70が有する種々の機能のうち、特に、モータ8による走行からエンジン4による走行への切り替えに関係する機能が抽出されてブロックで表現されている。制御装置70はその他にも様々な機能を備えているが、それらについての図示は省略されている。図2では、機能ごとに処理ユニット72,74,76,78が割当てられている。ただし、各処理ユニット72,74,76,78はハードウェアとして存在するものではなく、メモリに記憶されたプログラムがプロセッサで実行されたときに仮想的に実現される。以下、各処理ユニット72,74,76,78の機能について、図3、図4及び図5を参照しながら説明する。
制御装置70により実行されるエンジン4の吸気温度制御について図6を用いて説明する。制御装置70は、図6のフローチャートに示す処理を所定の制御周期で繰り返し実施している。
バッテリ22の温度はバッテリ22への電力の充電とバッテリ22からの電力の放電のそれぞれに影響する。バッテリ22には適切な温度範囲が存在し、その温度範囲より高い温度でも低い温度でもバッテリ22の充放電は制限される。バッテリ22の充放電が制限される状況では、モータ8による走行にも制約がかかる。そこで、図10に示すように、バッテリ22の温度が適切な温度範囲から外れる場合、走行モード切替ラインを低負荷側に移動させてモータ走行域を縮小する。

Claims (6)
- 走行用のエンジンと、走行用のモータと、前記モータに供給する電力を蓄えるバッテリと、を有するハイブリッド車両において、
燃料カットが行われている前記エンジンの運転停止中の前記エンジンの吸気温度を変化させる吸気温度可変システムと、
制御装置と、を備え
前記制御装置は、
要求負荷が閾値負荷よりも高い場合は車両の動力装置として前記エンジンを選択し、前記要求負荷が前記閾値負荷以下の場合は前記動力装置として前記モータを選択する第1処理と、
前記バッテリのSOCに応じて前記閾値負荷を設定する処理であって、少なくとも所定SOC範囲では前記SOCが低いほど前記閾値負荷を低くする第2処理と、
前記動力装置として前記モータが選択されている場合で且つ前記燃料カットが行われている前記エンジンの運転停止中である場合、前記吸気温度可変システムの操作によって運転停止中の前記エンジンの吸気温度を目標吸気温度に制御する第3処理と、
前記SOCに応じて前記目標吸気温度を設定する処理であって、少なくとも前記所定SOC範囲では前記SOCが低いほど前記目標吸気温度を高くする第4処理と、
を実行するように構成されていることを特徴とするハイブリッド車両。 - 前記制御装置は、前記第4処理において、前記SOCが前記所定SOC範囲よりも低い場合は前記目標吸気温度を所定の上限温度に設定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 前記制御装置は、前記第4処理において、前記SOCが前記所定SOC範囲よりも高い場合は前記目標吸気温度を所定の下限温度に設定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 前記制御装置は、前記バッテリの温度が所定温度範囲よりも高い場合、
前記第2処理において、前記閾値負荷を低負荷側に補正し、
前記第4処理において、前記目標吸気温度を高温側に補正する
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 前記制御装置は、前記バッテリの温度が所定温度範囲よりも低い場合、
前記第2処理において、前記閾値負荷を低負荷側に補正し、
前記第4処理において、前記目標吸気温度を高温側に補正する
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両。 - 前記制御装置は、前記第4処理において、前記モータ又はその制御系に異常が発生した場合は前記目標吸気温度を所定の上限温度に設定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載のハイブリッド車両。
