Abstract
Description
本実施例では、まず、IPC規格で2116に相当する低誘電率低誘電正接ガラスクロス(経糸及び緯糸に、フィラメント径7μmの低誘電率低誘電正接ガラスフィラメント(前記低誘電率低誘電正接ガラス組成を備えるガラスフィラメント)が集束されてなる20.8texの低誘電率低誘電正接ガラス繊維糸を用い、経糸織密度が60本/25.4mm、緯糸織密度が58本/25.4mmであり、厚さが94μmである平織ガラスクロス)を製織したあと、ヒートクリーニングによりガラスクロス表面に存在する有機物を除去したガラスクロスを用意した。
前記表面処理ガラスクロスを切りとり、全窒素・全炭素分析装置(株式会社住化分析センター製、商品名:SUMIGRAPH NC−TRINITY)を用いて前記表面処理ガラスクロス中に含まれる窒素成分量と炭素成分量を定量した。ガラスクロス中に含まれる全炭素量から、後述する方法で測定される酸付着量を除いたものを、第1のシランカップリング剤と第2のシランカップリング剤との合計含有量とした。なお、界面活性剤の付着量は、第1のシランカップリング剤と第2のシランカップリング剤との合計含有量に対して微量であるため、第1のシランカップリング剤と第2のシランカップリング剤との合計含有量との関係では、実質的に無視することができる。
表面処理ガラスクロスを切り取り、秤量後、クロロホルムを添加し、超音波浴によって洗浄し、希アルカリ溶液にて振とう及び超音波浴による酸抽出を行った。抽出液を遠心分離処理し、水層部を試料溶液とした。次いで、電気泳動システム(Agilent Technologies社製、商品名:7100キャピラリー電気泳動システム、緩衝液:Agilent Technologies社製有機酸分析バッファ)を用いて、試料溶液および標準品溶液の測定を行い、1点検量線法により、試料溶液中の酸量を定量した。次いで、表面処理ガラスクロスの質量と定量した酸の質量から、前記表面処理ガラスクロスの酸付着量を算出した。
前記表面処理ガラスクロスを100mm×100mmの大きさに切り取り、トルエンに1分間浸漬し、120℃で30分間加熱乾燥し、物理吸着している表面処理剤の脱落を行い、トルエン処理ガラスクロスを得た。得られたトルエン処理ガラスクロスについて、[第1のシランカップリング剤と第2のシランカップリング剤との合計含有量]に記載した方法で、第1のシランカップリング剤と第2のシランカップリング剤との合計含有量シランカップリング剤付着量の定量を行い、(トルエン処理ガラスクロスにおける第1のシランカップリング剤と第2のシランカップリング剤との合計含有量)/(表面処理ガラスクロスにおける第1のシランカップリング剤と第2のシランカップリング剤との合計含有量)×100、により表面処理層固着率(%)を算出した。
上記積層板を60mm×60mmの大きさに切り出し、ダイヤモンドカッターを用いて縦と横にそれぞれ30mmの長さのスリットを入れ、試験片を得た。ビーカーに調液した1mol/L−NaOH水溶液を入れ、前記試験片を溶液中に30時間浸漬し、デジタルマイクロスコープを用いて、経糸方向、緯糸方向の樹脂とガラス界面の剥離によって生じる白化の距離をそれぞれ20点測定し、平均値を算出することにより、白化距離を算出した。
次に、有機酸としての酢酸により、pH3.9となるように調整した以外は、実施例1と全く同一にして、表面処理剤水溶液を用意した。
次に、有機酸としての酢酸により、pH6.8となるように調整した以外は、実施例1と全く同一にして、表面処理剤水溶液を用意した。
次に、界面活性剤を含まない以外は、実施例1と全く同一にして、表面処理剤水溶液を用意した。
次に、前記第2のシランカップリング剤の含有モル量に対する、前記第1のシランカップリング剤の含有モル量の比を0.5とした以外は、実施例1と全く同一にして、表面処理剤水溶液を用意した。
次に、前記第2のシランカップリング剤の含有モル量に対する、前記第1のシランカップリング剤の含有モル量の比を19.0とした以外は、実施例1と全く同一にして、表面処理剤水溶液を用意した。
Claims (5)
- 表面に表面処理層を備える表面処理ガラスクロスであって、
前記表面処理層は、第1級アミン、第2級アミン及び第3級アミンからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1つのアミンを含み、第4級アンモニウムカチオンを含まない第1のシランカップリング剤と、少なくとも1つの第4級アンモニウムカチオンを含む第2のシランカップリング剤と、有機酸と、界面活性剤とを含み、
前記第1のシランカップリング剤と、前記第2のシランカップリング剤との合計含有量が前記表面処理ガラスクロスの全量に対して、0.05〜1.20質量%の範囲にあり、
前記第2のシランカップリング剤の含有モル量に対する、前記第1のシランカップリング剤の含有モル量の比(第1のシランカップリング剤の含有モル量/第2のシランカップリング剤の含有モル量)が、1.1〜10.0の範囲にあり、
前記有機酸の含有量が前記表面処理ガラスクロスの全量に対して、50〜300ppmの範囲にあることを特徴とする、表面処理ガラスクロス。 - 請求項1記載の表面処理ガラスクロスにおいて、前記表面処理層の固着率が50.0%以上であることを特徴とする表面処理ガラスクロス。
- 請求項1又は請求項2記載の表面処理ガラスクロスにおいて、前記有機酸は酢酸であることを特徴とする表面処理ガラスクロス。
- 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の表面処理ガラスクロスを含むことを特徴とする、プリプレグ。
- 請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項記載の表面処理ガラスクロスを含むことを特徴とする、プリント配線板。
