Claims (7)
- 指のタッチ検出、アクティブスタイラスの検出、及び表示動作を時分割で実行するインセル型の表示パネルを駆動する集積回路であって、
前記表示パネルは、互いに異なる第1及び第2の動作周期のいずれかに等しい表示周期で画像を更新するものであり、
前記表示周期内に配置される複数のブランク期間のうちの先頭のブランク期間又は後続のブランク期間において、アクティブスタイラスがデータを送信するための基準時刻を示すアップリンク信号を送信する、
集積回路。 - 前記アクティブスタイラスは、前記基準時刻に基づき、前記表示周期内で送信すべきデータを、前記表示パネル内の画素の駆動処理が行われる期間を間に挟んで配置される2以上の前記ブランク期間に分割して送信する、
請求項1に記載の集積回路。 - 前記データは筆圧であり、前記2以上の前記ブランク期間に配置されたデータのそれぞれにより1つの筆圧が示される、
請求項2に記載の集積回路。 - 前記集積回路は、前記指のタッチ検出と、前記アクティブスタイラスの検出とを異なる前記ブランク期間を用いて行い、
前記アクティブスタイラスは、前記集積回路が前記アクティブスタイラスの検出のために用いる1以上の前記ブランク期間内に前記データを送信する、
請求項2又は3に記載の集積回路。 - 前記アクティブスタイラスの検出のために用いる1以上の前記ブランク期間のうち前記アップリンク信号を送信しない1以上の前記ブランク期間のそれぞれにおいて、該ブランク期間の開始タイミングを通知するための補助アップリンク信号を送信する、
請求項4に記載の集積回路。 - 前記第1の動作周期は60Hzである、
請求項1に記載の集積回路。 - 前記表示パネルは、バッテリ駆動されている場合に、前記表示周期として前記第2の動作周期を用いる、
