i)前記部材の金属性材料で形成された表面の少なくとも一部分を、溶解および/または分散した、置換基として少なくとも1個の第4級窒素ヘテロ原子を含む複素環を有する反復単位RNで少なくとも部分的に構成された有機ポリマーPを含有する水性組成物(A)と接触させ、
次いで、
ii)前記部材の金属性材料で形成された表面の少なくとも同じ部分を、間に洗い流しおよび/または乾燥工程を伴ってまたは伴わず、元素Zr、Tiおよび/またはSiの1種類以上の水溶性化合物を含有する酸性水性組成物(B)と接触させる
方法によって達成される。
Yは、5個以下の架橋原子を有する環を構成する二価の官能基であり、炭素原子ではない1個以下の架橋ヘテロ原子が、酸素、窒素またはイオウである架橋原子から選択されてよく、炭素原子は、官能基R1または6個以下の炭素原子を有する芳香族同素環の環化が行なわれる官能基で互いに独立して置換された状態で存在する。
官能基R2およびR3は官能基R1または反復単位RNの残部断片(該残部断片を介して反復単位RNが互いと、もしくは他の反復単位RXと共有結合している)から選択され(ただし、R2またはR3のいずれかが反復単位RNの前記断片を表す)、反復単位RNの該残部断片は好ましくは、1−エタニル−2−イリデン、1−プロパニリデン−2−イルまたは1−プロパニル−2−イリデンから選択され、反復単位RNのこれらの好ましい残部断片は各々、互いと、または異なる反復単位もしくは同一の反復単位と直接共有結合している炭素原子を介して共有結合しており;
Yは、5個以下の架橋原子を有する環を構成する二価の官能基であり、炭素原子ではない1個以下の架橋ヘテロ原子が、酸素、窒素またはイオウである架橋原子から選択されてよく、炭素原子は、官能基R1または6個以下の炭素原子を有する芳香族同素環の環化が行なわれる官能基で互いに独立して置換された状態で存在する。
本発明の好ましい態様は、以下を包含する。
〔1〕
少なくとも一部分が金属性材料で構成された部材の耐食前処理のための多工程方法であって、最初に、
i)前記部材の金属性材料で形成された表面の少なくとも一部分を、溶解および/または分散した、置換基として少なくとも1個の第4級窒素ヘテロ原子を含む複素環を有する反復単位R N で少なくとも部分的に構成された有機ポリマーPを含有する水性組成物(A)と接触させ、
次いで、
ii)前記部材の金属性材料で形成された表面の少なくとも同じ部分を、間に洗い流しおよび/または乾燥工程を伴ってまたは伴わず、元素Zr、Tiおよび/またはSiの1種類以上の水溶性化合物を含有する酸性水性組成物(B)と接触させる
方法。

ポリマーPの反復単位R N が、下記構造式(II):
〔式中、官能基R 1 は、水素または6個以下の炭素原子を有する分枝もしくは非分枝の脂肪族または官能基−(CR 4 R 4 ) x −[Z(R 4 ) (p-1) −(CR 4 R 4 ) y ] n −Z(R 4 ) p から選択され、ここで、Zは各場合において酸素または窒素から選択され、pは、Zが窒素である場合は値2を有し、それ以外の場合では1であり、xおよびyは各々、自然数の1〜4であり、nも同様に自然数の0〜4であり、R 4 は、水素または6個以下の炭素原子を有する分枝もしくは非分枝の脂肪族から選択され;
官能基R 2 およびR 3 は、官能基R 1 または反復単位R N の残部断片(該残部断片を介して反復単位R N が互いと、もしくは他の反復単位R X と共有結合している)から選択され(ただし、R 2 またはR 3 のいずれかが反復単位R N の前記断片を表す);
Yは、5個以下の架橋原子を有する環を構成する二価の官能基であり、炭素原子ではない1個以下の架橋ヘテロ原子が、酸素、窒素またはイオウである架橋原子から選択されてよく、炭素原子は、官能基R 1 または6個以下の炭素原子を有する芳香族同素環の環化が行なわれる官能基で互いに独立して置換された状態で存在する〕
に相当することを特徴とする、〔1〕または〔2〕に記載の方法。
〔4〕
環を構成する二価の官能基Yが、エチレン、エテンジイル、1,3−プロパンジイル、1,3−プロペンジイル、1,4−ブタンジイル、1,4−ブテンジイル、1,4−ブタジエンジイル、−CH=N−、−CH 2 −NH−、(N,N−ジメチレン)アミン、(N−メチレン−N−メチリリデン)アミンから、好ましくは、エテンジイル、1,4−ブタジエンジイル、−C=Nまたは(N−メチレン−N−メチリリデン)アミンから、特に好ましくは、エテンジイルまたは−C=N−から、非常に好ましくはエテンジイルから選択され、ここで、炭素原子に共有結合している水素は各場合において、官能基R 1 の残部を表す部分によって置換されていてもよいことを特徴とする、〔2〕または〔3〕に記載の方法。

ポリマーPが、ビニルピロリドン、ビニルカプロラクタム、酢酸ビニル、ビニルイミダゾール、(メタ)アクリル酸アミド、(メタ)アクリル酸、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルおよび/またはスチレンから選択され、好ましくは、ビニルピロリドン、ビニルイミダゾールおよび/または(メタ)アクリル酸アミドから選択される少なくとも1つのさらなる反復単位R X を含有することを特徴とする、〔1〕〜〔5〕のいずれかに記載の方法。
〔7〕
反復単位R N の重量分率が、ポリマーPの総重量分率に対して少なくとも40%、好ましくは少なくとも60%、特に好ましくは少なくとも80%であることを特徴とする、〔1〕〜〔6〕のいずれかに記載の方法。

組成物(A)中のポリマーPの割合が少なくとも0.05g/kg、好ましくは少なくとも0.2g/kg、特に好ましくは少なくとも0.4g/kgであるが、好ましくは2g/kg以下であることを特徴とする、〔1〕〜〔7〕のいずれかに記載の方法。

亜鉛および/または亜鉛めっき鋼材料の表面が少なくとも20mg/m 2 の鉄被覆率を有することを特徴とする、〔1〕〜〔14〕のいずれかに記載の方法。
以下に記載するように、鋼鉄(CRS)、亜鉛めっき鋼(HDG)およびアルミニウムのシートを各々、独立して、多工程の耐食前処理法に供した。このようにして前処理し、皮膜層を施した金属シートの良好な皮膜密着性下地をもたらす好適性を、それぞれの材料特異的腐食試験において調べた。
A)アルカリ洗浄および脱脂:
シートを、撹拌下で、4重量%のRidoline(登録商標)2011(Henkel)と0.5重量%のRidosol(登録商標)1561(Henkel)で構成されたアルカリ性洗浄液中に、アルミニウム基材では60℃で3分間、ならびに鋼鉄および亜鉛めっき鋼では60℃で5分間浸漬させる;
B)プロセス水、次いで脱イオン水(K<1μScm−1)(各場合、20℃)で水洗する;
C)シートを、撹拌下で35℃にて1分間、所定の量の有機ポリマーを脱イオン水(K<1μScm−1)中に含有する組成物(pH調節物質のさらなる添加なし)中に浸漬させることによりコンディショニングする;
D)任意に、20℃の脱イオン水(K<1μScm−1)で水洗する;
E)シートを、撹拌下で35℃にて3分間、4.0のpHを有し、
0.34g/kgのH2ZrF6
0.10g/kgのCuSO4
3.0g/kgの硝酸イオン(硝酸ナトリウム由来)
および23mg/kgの遊離フルオリド含有量(フルオリド感受性電極で20℃において測定時、フッ化物感受性ガラス電極(WTW,F501)と参照電極(WTW,R503)を含む一連の電位差測定器(WTW,inoLab(登録商標)、pH/イオンレベル3)を使用、10mg/kg、100mg/kgおよび1000mg/kgの含有量の遊離フルオリドを有する較正溶液(バッファーの添加なしで、Merck Titrisol(登録商標)フルオリド標準から調製)を用いて3点較正を行なう)が設定されるのに充分な量の(NH4)HF2を含有する水性組成物中に浸漬させることによって化成処理する。
Claims (12)
- 少なくとも一部分が金属性材料で構成された部材の耐食前処理のための多工程方法であって、最初に、
i)前記部材の金属性材料で形成された表面の少なくとも一部分を、溶解および/または分散した、1−メチル−3−ビニルイミダゾリウム、1−エチル−3−ビニルイミダゾリウム、1−イソプロピル−3−ビニルイミダゾリウム、1−プロピル−3−ビニルイミダゾリウム、1−(n−ブチル)−3−ビニルイミダゾリウム、1−(イソブチル)−3−ビニルイミダゾリウム、1−メトキシ−3−ビニルイミダゾリウム、1−エトキシ−3−ビニルイミダゾリウム、1−プロポキシ−3−ビニルイミダゾリウムから選択される反復単位RNで少なくとも部分的に構成された有機ポリマーPを含有する水性組成物(A)と接触させ、ここで、反復単位R N の重量分率は、ポリマーPの総重量分率に対して少なくとも40%である、
次いで、
ii)前記部材の金属性材料で形成された表面の少なくとも同じ部分を、間に洗い流しおよび/または乾燥工程を伴ってまたは伴わず、元素Zr、Tiおよび/またはSiの1種類以上の水溶性化合物を少なくとも0.01g/kg含有する酸性水性組成物(B)と接触させる
方法。 - 反復単位RNが、1−メチル−3−ビニルイミダゾリウムであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ポリマーPが、ビニルピロリドン、ビニルカプロラクタム、酢酸ビニル、ビニルイミダゾール、(メタ)アクリル酸アミド、(メタ)アクリル酸、(メタ)アクリル酸エステルおよび/またはスチレンから選択される少なくとも1つのさらなる反復単位RXを含有することを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 反復単位RNの重量分率が、ポリマーPの総重量分率に対して少なくとも60%であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 組成物(A)中のポリマーPの割合が少なくとも0.05g/kgであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 工程i)において金属性部材の表面上に化成層が作出されないことを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 工程ii)において組成物(B)が、錯体フッ化物または単純フッ化物から選択されるフッ化物イオン源を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 工程ii)において組成物(B)がさらに、水溶性の塩の形態の、銅イオン源である水溶性化合物を含有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 方法工程i)とii)の間に洗い流し工程が行なわれないことを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 部材が、少なくとも一部分に鉄および/または鋼鉄材料の表面を有し、前記部材の金属性材料表面の少なくとも50%が、鉄および/または鋼鉄材料の表面で形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 鉄および/または鋼鉄材料の表面に加えて、部材が、亜鉛および/または亜鉛めっき鋼材料の表面も有することを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 亜鉛および/または亜鉛めっき鋼材料の表面が少なくとも20mg/m2の鉄被覆率を有することを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の方法。
