Description
本出願は、2014年11月18日に出願された米国特許第14/546,332号の利益を主張し、その全体を参照として本明細書に組み込む。

Claims (15)
- 基板(4)、
ポリマーコーティング(7)、および
基板(4)とポリマーコーティング(7)の間に配設される中間層を含む物品であって、
前記中間層は、炭素複合材を含み、
前記炭素複合材は、炭素、およびSiO2 、Si、B、B2O3 、金属、または該金属の合金のいずれか1以上を含む結合剤(2)を含み、前記金属は、アルミニウム、銅、チタン、ニッケル、タングステン、クロム、鉄、マンガン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオビウム、モリブデン、スズ、ビスマス、アンチモン、鉛、カドミウム、またはセレンのいずれか1以上を含み、
前記炭素複合材は、炭素微細構造間に格子間空間を有し、該格子間空間の少なくともいくつかに前記結合剤が配設された炭素微細構造を含む、物品。 - 前記基板(4)が、金属、該金属の合金、またはセラミックのいずれか1以上を含み、前記基板(4)中の金属が、マグネシウム、アルミニウム、チタン、マンガン、鉄、コバルト、ニッケル、銅、モリブデン、タングステン、パラジウム、クロム、ルテニウム、金、銀、亜鉛、ジルコニウム、バナジウム、またはケイ素のいずれか1以上を含む、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記ポリマーコーティング(7)が、フルオロエラストマー、ぺルフルオロエラストマー、水素化ニトリルブチルゴム、エチレン−プロピレン−ジエンモノマー(EPDM)ゴム、シリコーン、エポキシ樹脂、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ビスマレイミド、ポリエチレン、ポリビニルアルコール、フェノール樹脂、ナイロン、ポリカーボネート、ポリウレタン、テトラフルオロエチレン−プロピレンエラストマー共重合体、ポリフェニレンスルフィド、ポリフェニルスルホン、自己強化ポリフェニレン、ポリアリールエーテルケトン、またはそれらの架橋物のいずれか1以上を含む、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記炭素複合材層(3)中の炭素が黒鉛を含み、前記黒鉛(1)は所望により、カルボキシ、エポキシ、エーテル、ケトン、アミン、ヒドロキシ、アルコキシ、アルキル、ラクトン、またはアリールのいずれか1以上の官能基を含むように誘導化されていても、誘導化されていなくてもよい、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記中間層および前記基板(4)の間に第一結合層(5)を更に含み、
前記第一結合層(5)が、前記基板(4)および前記炭素複合材中の結合剤(2)との固溶体、前記炭素複合材の結合剤(2)および前記基板(4)の両方に含まれる材料、またははんだのいずれか1以上を含み、かつ、
前記ポリマーコーティング(7)と前記中間層の間に第二結合層(6)を更に含み、
前記第二結合層(6)が、共有結合にて前記炭素複合材層(3)中の炭素に結合するポリマーまたはモノマーを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の物品。 - 前記ポリマーが、アクリル鎖、ポリアミン、またはポリ(アルキレングリコール)のいずれか1以上を含む、請求項5に記載の物品。
- 前記モノマーが、α,β−不飽和ニトリル基、アルケニル基、アルキニル基、ビニルカルボン酸エステル基、カルボキシ基、カルボニル基、エポキシ基、イソシアネート基、ヒドロキシル基、アミド基、アミノ基、エステル基、ホルミル基、ニトリル基、またはニトロ基のいずれか1以上の重合性基を含む、請求項5に記載の物品。
- 基板(4)のコーティング方法であって、
基板(4)上に炭素複合材層(3)を配設する工程、
炭素複合材層(3)を基板(4)に結合し、第一結合層(5)を炭素複合材層(3)と基板(4)の間に形成する工程、
モノマー、第一ポリマー、またはそれらの組み合わせを基板(4)上に配設された炭素複合材層(3)にグラフトし、第二結合層(6)を形成する工程、および
第二結合層(6)を、第二ポリマーを含み、所望により架橋剤を含んでもよいコーティング組成物でコーティングする工程、
を含み、
前記炭素複合材層(3)が、炭素、および結合剤(2)を含み、
前記結合剤(2)は、SiO2 、Si、B、B2O3 、金属、または該金属の合金のいずれか1以上を含み、前記金属は、アルミニウム、銅、チタン、ニッケル、タングステン、クロム、鉄、マンガン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオビウム、モリブデン、スズ、ビスマス、アンチモン、鉛、カドミウム、またはセレンのいずれか1以上を含み、
前記炭素複合材は、炭素微細構造間に格子間空間を有し、該格子間空間の少なくともいくつかに前記結合剤が配設された炭素微細構造を含む、方法。 - 前記グラフト工程が、前記第二結合層(6)と前記炭素複合材層の間に共有結合を形成することを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第二結合層(6)のコーティング工程が、積層、ディップコーティング、溶媒キャスト法、塗装、スプレーコーティング、ロールコーティング、交互積層コーティング、スピンコーティング、またはラングミュアー・ブロジェット・コーティングのいずれか1以上を含む、請求項8または9に記載の方法。
- 前記第一ポリマーと前記第二ポリマーを架橋する工程をさらに含む、請求項8〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記炭素複合材層(3)を基板(4)に結合する工程が、前記炭素複合材層(3)、および前記基板(4)または前記基板(4)の表面を加熱することを含み、所望により、前記炭素複合材層(3)と前記基板(4)は加熱中に互いに押圧されても、押圧されなくてもよい、請求項8〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- はんだを前記炭素複合材層(3)と前記基板(4)の間に配設する工程、前記はんだを加熱する工程、および、前記炭素複合材層(3)と前記基板(4)を結合する工程をさらに含み、所望により、前記炭素複合材層(3)と前記基板(4)が、前記はんだを加熱中に互いに押圧されても、押圧されなくてもよい、請求項8〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記基板(4)と前記炭素複合材層の間に活性化フォイルを配設する工程、および、前記活性化フォイルを、エネルギーの特定形態へ露出し、前記炭素複合材層(3)と前記基板(4)を結合する工程をさらに含み、所望により、前記活性化フォイルを前記エネルギーの特定形態へ露出する間、前記炭素複合材層、前記活性化フォイル、および前記基板(4)が互いに押圧されても、押圧されなくてもよい、請求項8〜11のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記活性化フォイルが、テルミット、Al−Ni、Ti−Si、Ti−B、Zr−Si、Zr−B、Ti−Al、Ni−Mg、またはMg−Biのいずれか1以上を含み、前記テルミットが、還元剤および酸化剤を含み、前記還元剤が、アルミニウム、マグネシウム、カルシウム、チタン、亜鉛、ケイ素、またはホウ素のいずれか1以上を含み、かつ、前記酸化剤が、酸化ホウ素、酸化ケイ素、酸化クロム、酸化マンガン、酸化鉄、酸化銅、または酸化鉛のいずれか1以上を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
