Claims (5)
- 流体が供給される経路に介装される流体継手であり、
ソケット部と、前記ソケット部に先端部が挿入されるプラグ部と、を備え、
前記ソケット部は、先端部から側部に延在する開口部が設けられた略筒形状の第1基部と、前記第1基部に先端部が挿入される略筒形状の第2基部と、前記第1基部に内蔵されて前記プラグ部の前記先端部が挿入される挿入孔が形成された球体形状の球体バルブと、を有し、
前記第1基部は、その先端部側から、前記第1基部の先端よりも縮径させた縮径部と、前記縮径部よりも直径が大きい拡径部と、前記球体バルブに面的に接触する曲面部と、を有し、前記縮径部と前記拡径部とを繋ぐ内面を部分的に拡径させた凹状部分が形成され、 前記凹状部分の端部は前記第1基部の中央部よりも前記開口部の側部側に配置され、且つ、前記凹状部分の前記端部は前記開口部から離間しており、
前記球体バルブの前記挿入孔が前記ソケット部の側方を向くことで、前記流体の供給が遮断される遮断状態となり、
前記球体バルブの前記開口部に前記プラグ部の前記先端部を挿入し、前記プラグ部を前記開口部に沿って回動させることで、前記ソケット部と前記プラグ部とが連通する連通状態となり、
前記プラグ部を前記ソケット部から離間させる方向に移動させることで、前記第1基部の前記凹状部分に、前記プラグ部の拡径部分が係合し、前記プラグ部が回動方向に固定される固定状態となることを特徴とする流体継手。 - 前記ソケット部は、前記第1基部の内部で、前記球体バルブと前記第2基部の前記先端部との間に配置されたパッキンを、更に有し、
前記パッキンはゴム材料から成ることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の流体継手。 - 前記連通状態では、前記ソケット部の軸線方向と前記プラグ部の軸線方向とが略一致することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の流体継手。
- 前記プラグ部の前記拡径部分は、円周方向に於いて半分以上の部分が前記第1基部の前記凹状部分に嵌合することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れかに記載の流体継手。
- 前記球体バルブの内壁にOリングを配置することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4の何れかに記載の流体継手。
