Description
Claims (5)
- 車両の自動緊急ブレーキの作動対象物を検出する検出手段と、
前記検出手段の検出結果に基づいて、前記自動緊急ブレーキを制御する走行制御装置とを備え、
前記走行制御装置は、前記自動緊急ブレーキの目標減速度および前記目標減速度に到達するまでの減速度の変化率を算出する目標減速度算出部と、前記作動対象物との衝突危険性を判定する危険度判定部とを含み、
前記危険度判定部は、前記目標減速度に基づいて、前記作動対象物との衝突危険性を判定し、
前記目標減速度算出部は、前記危険度判定部によって前記作動対象物との衝突危険性が高いと判定された場合には、前記変化率を大きくすることを特徴とする運転支援装置。 - 前記危険度判定部は、前記目標減速度が第1の閾値よりも大きい場合に、前記作動対象物との衝突危険性が高いと判定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運転支援装置。
- 前記目標減速度算出部は、前記自動緊急ブレーキの制御中に、前記目標減速度および前記変化率を複数回算出し、
前記危険度判定部は、過去に算出された前記目標減速度および前記変化率に基づいて参照減速度を設定し、今回算出された前記目標減速度と前記参照減速度との差を求めることを含む演算によって算出される目標減速度差が第2の閾値よりも大きい場合に、前記作動対象物との衝突危険性が高いと判定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運転支援装置。 - 前記自動緊急ブレーキは、第1のブレーキと第2のブレーキとを含み、
前記第2のブレーキの減速度の最大値は、前記第1のブレーキの減速度よりも大きく、
前記目標減速度算出部は、前記目標減速度として前記第1のブレーキの目標減速度である第1の目標減速度と前記第2のブレーキの目標減速度である第2の目標減速度を算出すると共に、前記変化率として前記第1の目標減速度に到達するまでの前記減速度の変化率である第1の変化率と前記第2の目標減速度に到達するまでの前記減速度の変化率である第2の変化率を算出し、
前記参照減速度は、前記第1の目標減速度および前記第1の変化率に基づいて設定され、
前記目標減速度差は、今回算出された前記第2の目標減速度と前記参照減速度との差を求めることを含む演算によって算出されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の運転支援装置。 - 前記検出手段は、前記車両に搭載されたステレオカメラによって撮像された一対の撮像画像を処理して、前記作動対象物を3次元的に認識するステレオ画像認識装置であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の運転支援装置。
