Claims (7)
- 先端側から後端側へと軸線に沿って延びる中心電極と、
少なくとも前記中心電極の先端の周囲を取り囲む有底筒状の先端部を有する絶縁体と、
前記先端部が自身の先端部から先端側に突出する状態で前記絶縁体を保持する筒状の主体金具と、を備える点火プラグであって、
他端部が前記主体金具の前記先端部に接続され、一端部が前記絶縁体の前記先端部と放電ギャップを形成する複数の接地電極を備え、
前記複数の接地電極は、前記放電ギャップの大きさの異なるものを含む点火プラグ。 - 前記複数の接地電極は、前記放電ギャップの大きさが全て異なる請求項1記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記複数の接地電極のうち、前記放電ギャップの大きさが異なるものは、前記一端部の軸線方向の位置が異なる請求項1又は2に記載の点火プラグ。
- 後端側の前記放電ギャップよりも先端側の前記放電ギャップの方が大きい請求項3記載の点火プラグ。
- 後端側の前記放電ギャップよりも先端側の前記放電ギャップの方が小さい請求項3記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記複数の接地電極のうち、前記放電ギャップの大きさが異なるものは、前記一端部が、前記軸線を中心として互いに80°以上離れた位置に存在する請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記複数の接地電極は2つである請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の点火プラグ。
