Description
Claims (18)
- 複数の導電性纎維を含む導電性纎維層を有する二次電池用集電体であって、
前記導電性纎維それぞれは、
複数の金属フィラメントからなる導電性コアと、
前記導電性纎維層内に、前記複数の金属フィラメントの1%ないし50%の範囲内の長さを有し、導電性バインダーマトリックスがないベア(bare)状態の金属フィラメントを含む複数の補助フィラメントと、
前記導電性コアの外周を取り囲む導電性バインダーマトリックスと、を含むことを特徴とする集電体。 - 前記導電性纎維層は、表面から内部を連通させる気孔を含む不織布構造を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の集電体。
- 前記導電性纎維層の一主面に結合される基板を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の集電体。
- 前記基板は、前記導電性バインダーマトリックスの融着により、前記導電性纎維層と結合されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の集電体。
- 前記基板は、金属ホイル、メッシュ、高分子樹脂系絶縁性フィルム、金属薄膜層またはこれらの積層構造を含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の集電体。
- 前記複数の金属フィラメントは、ステンレス鋼、アルミニウム、ニッケル、銅、チタン、白金、金、銀、ルテニウム、タンタル、ニオブ、ハフニウム、ジルコニウム、バナジウム、インジウム、コバルト、タングステン、スズ、ベリリウム、モリブデンまたはこれらの合金や積層体を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の集電体。
- 前記導電性バインダーマトリックスは、個別化された導電性コアをそれぞれコーティングすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の集電体。
- 前記導電性バインダーマトリックスは、隣接した導電性コアを連続的にコーティングすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の集電体。
- 前記導電性バインダーマトリックスは、ポリアニリン、ポリオキシフェニレン、ポリフェニレンサルファイド、ポリチオフェン、ポリフラン、ポリピロール、ポリメチルピロール、ポリスチレン及びその誘導体またはこれらの共重合体を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の集電体。
- 前記導電性バインダーマトリックスは、高分子バインダー材料と、前記高分子バインダー材料に分散された導電材の混合組成物であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の集電体。
- 前記高分子バインダー材料は、ポリプロピレンテレフタレート(PPT)、ポリエチレン(PE)、ポリプロピレン(PP)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリアクリル(PA)、カルボキシメチルセルロース(CMC)、ポリブタジエン、ポリイソプレン、ポリブチルアクリレート、ポリブチルメタクリレート、ポリヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート、ポリアクリルアミド、ポリイソブチレン、イソブチレン・イソプレンゴム、ポリフッ化ビニリデン・ヘキサフルオロプロピレンコポリマー(PVDF−co−HFP)、ポリフッ化ビニリデン(PVDF)、ポリアクリロニトリル、ポリメチルメタクリレート、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、スチレン・ブタジエンゴム(SBR)、ブチルアクリレート・スチレン共重合体、ブチルアクリレート・アクリロニトリル共重合体、ブチルアクリレート・アクリロニトリル・グリシジルメタクリレート共重合体、イソブチレン・スチレン共重合体、エチレン・プロピレン・ジエン共重合体(EPDM)及びその誘導体、同質重合体、縮合重合体、共重合体、ブロック重合体、またはこれらの組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の集電体。
- 前記導電材は、カーボンブラック、超微細グラファイト粒子、アセチレンブラック、ファインカーボン、金属粒子、金属ITO(indium tin oxide)、カーボンナノチューブ、またはこれらの組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の集電体。
- 前記導電性バインダーマトリックスは、ゲル化されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の集電体。
- 請求項1に記載の集電体と、
前記導電性纎維層に含浸された電気的活物質と、を含むことを特徴とする電極。 - 前記導電性バインダーマトリックスの厚さは、前記電気的活物質の平均粒子サイズの10%ないし90%の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の電極。
- 前記導電性バインダーマトリックスは、ゲル化されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の電極。
- 前記導電性纎維層は、不織布構造を有することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の電極。
- 前記金属フィラメントは、前記導電性纎維層の骨格を構成し、前記集電体の全体導電率と機械的強度を決定し、
前記補助フィラメントは、電気的活物質と前記金属フィラメントとの間の電子伝達経路、または前記金属フィラメント間の電気的連結を向上させることで、電池の内部抵抗を決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の集電体。
