Claims (14)
- エアサスペンションサブシステムを含む少なくとも1つの車両サブシステム(12a〜12e)を有する車両のためのシステムであって、
少なくとも1つの地形状況指標を求めるための信号を生成する1つまたはそれ以上の車両センサと、
前記車両のための前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標(17,22,26)を受け、前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標(17,22,26)に応じて、複数の設定から、前記エアサスペンションサブシステムに対する望ましい設定を選択する選択手段(20)を備え、
前記選択手段は、前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標が前記車両はラフな路面を走行中であることを示した場合、前記望ましい設定としてエアサスペンション・オフロード最低地上高を選択するように構成され、
前記システムは、
前記望ましい設定が現在の設定と異なる場合、エアサスペンションサブシステムに対する前記望ましい設定を示す指示をドライバに与える指示手段を備え、
前記選択手段(20)は、トレーラ接続状況信号を受信するものであって、前記トレーラ接続状況信号が、トレーラが牽引されていることを示すとき、前記エアサスペンションサブシステムに対する前記望ましい設定が前記オフロード最低地上高である指示の発信を前記指示手段が抑制することを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記指示手段によって前記ドライバに示される前記望ましい設定を示すドライバ入力を受ける手段をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ドライバ入力に呼応し、前記望ましい設定にしたがって前記エアサスペンションサブシステムを構成するように構成された前記制御手段をさらに有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標が求められる信号は、走行している前記車両の直近の地形を示すことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標が求められる信号は、前記車両が走行しようとしている前記車両の周囲付近の地形を示すことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標は、車速、路面凹凸、前記路面凹凸で走行した距離、車輪の表面摩擦力、前記車両の傾き、車両エンジンのエンジントルク、および周囲温度のうちの1つまたはそれ以上のものを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1に記載のシステム。
- 前記エアサスペンションシステムに対する複数の設定は、これらの中から前記望ましい設定が選択され、オフロード、中間、およびオンロードの最低地上高を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1に記載のシステム。
- 前記指示手段は、視覚的表示デバイスおよび/または音響デバイスおよび/または触感デバイスを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか1に記載のシステム。
- エアサスペンションサブシステムを含む1つまたはそれ以上の車両サブシステムを備えた車両のドライバに勧告を与える方法であって、
1つまたはそれ以上の車両センサを使って前記車両の少なくとも1つの地形状況指標(17,22,26)を求めるための信号を生成するステップと、
前記車両のための前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標(17,22,26)を受けるステップと、
前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標に応じて、複数の設定から前記エアサスペンションサブシステムに対する望ましい設定を選択するステップと、
前記車両がラフな路面を走行中、エアサスペンションサブシステムのエアサスペンション・オフロード最低地上高を選択する指示を前記ドライバに与えるステップと、
トレーラ接続状況信号を受信するステップと、
前記トレーラ接続状況信号が、トレーラが牽引されていることを示すとき、前記オフロード最低地上高を選択する指示の発信を抑制することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記望ましい設定を示すドライバ入力を受けるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ドライバ入力の受信に応じて、前記望ましい設定にしたがって前記エアサスペンションサブシステムを構成するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標が求められる信号は、前記車両が走行しようとしている前記車両の周囲付近の地形を示すことを特徴とする請求項9〜11のいずれか1に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの地形状況指標が求められる信号は、走行している前記車両の直近の地形を示すことを特徴とする請求項9〜11のいずれか1に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1に記載のシステムを備えた車両。
