Claims (7)
- 手動変速が可能な変速機が搭載された車両に用いられ、運転者に変速指示を促す変速指示装置において、
前記車両の車速およびスロットル開度に基づいて目標変速段を設定する目標変速段設定手段と、
現在の変速段が前記目標変速段設定手段により設定される目標変速段と異なる場合に該目標変速段への移行を促す変速指示を提示する提示手段と、
前記変速機の油温に基づく前記変速機の油温状況と、前記車両のスロットル開度および出力軸回転数に基づく前記車両の走行中の車両前方の路面の勾配状況の少なくとも一方の状況を判定し、該判定の結果に基づいて所定の変速段への移行を制限する制限手段と、を備え、
前記提示手段は、前記制限手段による所定の変速段への移行の制限が実行されていることを条件に、前記制限手段により制限された変速段を表す情報を参照し、前記目標変速段が前記制限手段により制限された変速段である場合には、変速指示を非提示とし、前記目標変速段が前記制限手段により制限された変速段でない場合には、変速指示を提示する一方、前記制限手段による所定の変速段への移行の制限が実行されていないことを条件に、変速指示を提示することを特徴とする変速指示装置。 - 前記提示手段は、前記目標変速段および前記目標変速段を上限変速段とする変速レンジのうちいずれか一方を提示することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の変速指示装置。
- 前記提示手段は、前記目標変速段が前記制限手段により制限された変速段である場合には、所定時間の経過後に変速指示を提示することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の変速指示装置。
- 前記目標変速段設定手段は、現在の変速段よりも燃費が低減される変速段を目標変速段として設定することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1の請求項に記載の変速指示装置。
- 前記制限手段は、前記車両が走行している路面の傾斜の度合いに基づいて制限される変速段を設定することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1の請求項に記載の変速指示装置。
- 前記制限手段は、前記変速機に供給される作動油の油温に基づいて制限される変速段を設定することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1の請求項に記載の変速指示装置。
- 前記車両は、前記車両の現在地および少なくとも前記現在地の前方の道路情報を表す信号を出力するナビゲーション装置を備え、
前記制限手段は、前記ナビゲーション装置から入力した信号に基づいて制限される変速段を設定することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれか1の請求項に記載の変速指示装置。
