2CrO4 2−+2H3O+→Cr2O7 2−+3H2O
の平衡が存在するものの、Crはいずれにせよ6価である。6価CrはREACH規制及びRoHS規制の対象ではあるものの、製品内に6価Crが残留するわけでないので、それ自体が規制を受けるわけではないが、硫酸−クロム酸による粗面化処理を行った後の排水には、有害なクロムが含まれる。このためクロムを含む排水は、還元、中和、凝集沈殿等の排水処理が必要となる上に、沈殿物もクロムを含むために容易には廃棄できないという問題点があった。
まず、ヨウ素滴定により処理液(過硫酸塩溶液S)中に含まれる全酸化剤濃度を測定する。このヨウ素滴定とは、過硫酸塩溶液SにKIを加えてI2を遊離させ、そのl2をチオ硫酸ナトリウム標準溶液で滴定してI2の量を求め、そのI2の量から酸化剤濃度を求めるものである。次に、過硫酸塩溶液Sの過酸化水素濃度のみを過マンガン酸カリウム滴定により求め、ヨウ素滴定値から過マンガン酸カリウム滴定値を差し引くことにより過硫酸濃度を求めた。
表面に2mm間隔で垂直に両方向6本のABS樹脂まで貫通する切込みを入れて25(5×5)の格子を形成し、格子部分にセロテープ(登録商標)を強く圧着させ、テープの端を45°の角度で一気に引き剥がし、格子の状態を図例と比較した。試験結果を、以下の分類0から5までの6段階で評価する。分類0:どの格子の目もはがれがない。分類1:カットの交差点において塗膜が小さくはがれているが5%未満。分類2:塗膜がカットの線に沿って、交差点においてはがれており5%以上15%未満。分類3:塗膜がカットの線に沿って部分的、全面的にはがれており15%以上30%未満。分類4:塗膜がカットの線に沿って部分的、全面的に大きくはがれを生じており30%以上65%未満。分類5:分類4以上にはがれを生じている。なお、切込みは3箇所にいれて、これら3箇所を総合して判断する。
図1に示す装置を用いて、プラスチック板7としてABS樹脂板の表面処理を行った。処理槽の仕様及び条件は次の通りである。なお、過硫酸塩としては過硫酸ナトリウムを用いた。

図1に示す装置を用いて、プラスチック板7としてPEEK樹脂板の表面処理を行った。処理槽の仕様及び条件は次の通りである。なお、過硫酸塩としては過硫酸ナトリウムを用いた。

Claims (3)
- めっきの前処理としてのプラスチック表面の処理方法であって、プラスチックを、過硫酸塩を溶解した硫酸濃度が50〜92wt%で過硫酸濃度が3〜20g/LのCrフリーの溶液で処理し、前記過硫酸塩を溶解した溶液の温度が80〜140℃であるプラスチック表面の処理方法。
- 前記過硫酸塩を溶解した溶液として、過硫酸塩以外の無機塩を溶解した混合溶液を用いる請求項1に記載のプラスチック表面の処理方法。
- 過硫酸塩を溶解した溶液を貯留するための処理槽と、該処理槽内の過硫酸塩を溶解した溶液を供給する過硫酸塩溶液貯槽と、前記処理槽を加熱する恒温ヒータとを備えた処理装置の前記処理槽にプラスチックを浸漬し、該プラスチックの表面を処理する請求項1又は2に記載のプラスチック表面の処理方法。
